    Best Weekend Ever

Castle Manor exceeded our expectations. As someone who grew up in Gloucester, I was so excited to find a venue we could afford that was still absolutely stunning. The space is perfect for a small wedding (we had about 80 people), and is a one stop shop for rehearsal dinner, wedding, food, and a place to stay. Dan and Kaylyn were absolute rockstars all weekend, and leading up to it. I had quite the nervous stomach the morning of the wedding, I think Dan and Kaylyn checked on me a combined 25 times throughout the whole day, bringing plain crackers and water or anything they could do to help. Dan is an outstanding chef, and person. Kaylyn was amazing with preparing the space, easing nerves, and making sure everything flowed well and the wedding party knew what to do for the ceremony. Everything was actually perfect. Will update with photos once we get them back but if you are considering this venue, this is your sign!!!

Castle Manor Inn made our day special!

We had an amazing experience at Castle Manor Inn from start to finish. Dan and Kaylyn were incredibly responsive to our questions and made themselves available whenever we needed them. The venue itself is stunning—right on the marsh with that classic New England charm we were looking for. What really impressed us was how flexible they were throughout the planning process and on the day of our wedding. They helped us set up exactly how we wanted it, accommodated a last-minute menu change, and handled all the setup and breakdown. The entire staff was so friendly and genuinely seemed to care about making our day special. We couldn't have asked for better people to work with.

Beautiful Venue, Amazing Staff! Queer Friendly!!!

Castle Manor Inn is an absolute hidden gem if you're looking to get married in the Gloucester area. We wanted a venue that was reasonably priced, within 2 hours of our home, could hold our ceremony and reception, and was friendly to the fact we are a queer couple. While they are not right on the water, the event deck has a beautiful view of the marshes and you're literally a 2 minute drive from the coastline (we were able to leave to take photos on the beach and be back at the venue before cocktail hour was over). The manor itself is lovely with plenty of character for an old building. The food was also amazing! From the tasting, to the actual dinner it was all so delicious. We had a few harder to accommodate food allergies and these guests were given their own beautiful plates of mushroom risotto which is far above the sad salad most places would have offered instead. Their head chef is truly one of a kind and introduced himself to us even when we were first touring the place. From the event coordinator Kaylyn to the hotel and waitstaff everyone was professional, friendly, and excited to celebrate with us. They truly made us feel like they cared about our wedding day and not at all like we were just another event being held in their space. We also stayed in the Castle Suite and were extremely comfortable in our room. The staff even took the time to change out the decorations (ones that usually said "Mr. & Mrs.") in the room to make sure we felt welcomed as a queer couple. It was little touches like this that truly made us and our guests feel cared for all weekend!

Castle Manor Inn was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we first toured the property, the staff was incredibly responsive, helpful, and accommodating. Kaylyn, the event coordinator, was fantastic - she was always quick to reply to our emails and questions, and she went above and beyond to ensure our day was seamless. The venue itself is truly charming and unique, with a customizable layout that allowed us to create our dream wedding. The food, prepared by Chef Dan, was phenomenal - our guests are still raving about it. The entire staff at Castle Manor Inn was friendly and helpful, and they eased our stress throughout the planning process. It's a fantastic operation, and we're so grateful we chose this venue for our special day.
