NH🌹MA based singer-songwriter

ALXIA is an indie rock and pop artist whose music blends raw emotion with poetic storytelling. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, she draws inspiration from icons like Peter Gabriel, Fiona Apple, and The Beatles, crafting a sound that’s both timeless and deeply personal. Although ALXIA is currently known for her cover songs, she is also a songwriter. She has released two singles so far, "Close To Home" and "Perhaps," and is excited to be releasing more this year!

Known for mixing forgotten gems with timeless favorites, ALXIA curates each set to feel nostalgic yet fresh. She performs at house concerts, showcases, weddings, cocktail hours, community events, and venues like restaurants and clubs. Fully equipped with pro sound gear and happy to learn custom songs, she makes booking easy and the experience unforgettable. She brings both artistry and professionalism to solo or full-band shows. Using guitar, keyboard, and live looping, she creates rich, layered soundscapes—even as a solo act.

If you’re considering live music for your wedding, the ceremony is the most meaningful place to include it. Live music creates a heartfelt and timeless atmosphere as your guests arrive, sets the perfect tone for your walk down the aisle, and makes those once-in-a-lifetime moments even more memorable.

Ceremony & Cocktail Hour

Description

This is my most popular option with couples. After the ceremony, I seamlessly transition into cocktail hour, carrying the same romantic atmosphere into a lively backdrop while guests mingle, enjoy appetizers, and celebrate together. It’s the perfect way to keep the energy flowing from one part of your day to the next.

Description

If you’re looking for a reception experience that feels more personal than the typical DJ or band, I can create a live music set tailored to your vision. Whether you’d like an intimate solo performance, the energy of a duo, or the full sound of a band, I’ll work with you to match the vibe you’re going for and your budget. If you’re envisioning a specific theme for your wedding, like Old Hollywood glamour or rustic charm, I can create a setlist tailored to bring that vision to life.

    Best Choice for our Wedding Day

    Alxia was the perfect addition to our wedding day! Her communication style was very efficient, and she always responded to any questions we had throughout the process. My husband and I were so excited to finally meet ALXIA, as we had been following her on Instagram for months, and she did not disappoint! Her beautiful voice was the perfect backdrop to our ceremony and cocktail hour…memorable and clear, people in our front row who didn’t see her thought that we were playing a recorded set list— (that’s how perfect she sounded). On top of everything, ALXIA even learned a song for us, singing it better than the original. In summary, she was on-time, looked professional, and sounded incredible - I would hire her again in a heartbeat.

Yes! The timeframe in which the song needs to be learned and the complexity of the song may play a role in whether it affects the fee, but I am committed to bringing your vision to life. You can think of your event like a movie; you're directing, and I am scoring the soundtrack.
Yes! In fact, I love getting music requests because I feel like it creates a more interactive experience. There have also been multiple scenarios when guests at the event are musically inclined, and we'll play an impromptu duet together, which is always fun!
A lot of times, clients request me for both the ceremony and the cocktail hour. Another option I offer is that I'll play music as guests are coming in for the ceremony. Receptions are also available, but I don't usually offer all three services in the same night to protect the longevity of my voice. However, if you're looking for a one-stop shop to keep things, there are options we can discuss!
I arrive at the venue an hour before start time to set up and soundcheck. Weddings don’t always go exactly as planned, so I make sure to be there early enough to catch any last-minute changes and help everything run smoothly.
I’ve heard some people say experiencing music is the closest one can get to magic. With this in mind, I understand that many musicians perform as a hobby or for fun. For me, though, each performance is a stepping stone toward accomplishing my dreams—not just as a musician, but as an artist. That’s why I carry myself professionally and pay close attention to the details that make every performance one to remember.
Since every event setting is different, what I wear may vary to fit the environment. However, I always dress formally and appropriately. If the client has specific requests, I can also accommodate them.
