“Abigail was INCREDIBLE. I think of the entire wedding, hiring her was the best decision my (now) husband and I made. Neither of us had ever been to a wedding - and she explained/assisted with what decisions needed to be made, what we may have forgotten, and provided recommendations based on her experience. There were a few meetings prior to the day of the wedding, and I’ll be honest, I forgot to put 2 of them in my calendar. She didn’t treat me differently, and she was quite understanding and flexible - which meant a lot. She helped make my day the perfect day. I namely wanted a day-of coordinator to take the pressure off myself as well as my mom - and she did just that. She encouraged my mom to enjoy the day, she kept all logistical stuff out of my hands on the day. My mom told me after the fact that there was an issue with the table numbers, and Abigail was already working on a backup plan while they were still looking for the table numbers. It ended up working out - but I didn’t know anything about it till after. Her and her sister, Bree, provided a sense of calm and collected on the wedding day and stayed throughout the entire wedding. Abigail was there the night before at our rehearsal - and truly helped make it super smooth. Her and Bree were there as soon as the venue opened and left after they loaded all the decor in the car. Our card box was in our room, and the room was more made up than previously. It was magical. They truly were above and beyond. It was very early on in our 12 months of planning, that we knew we needed to have a coordinator. My wife is very Type A. And I knew we needed to find somebody who could also match that level of detail and structure. Connie exceeded our expectations. We had many meetings during the year of planning, even some where she was sick and still willing to get on a call with us. She always came to every meeting prepared and ready to go over every little detail. It provided myself and my wife a lot of ease because we knew that Connie had it. Everything was laid out in a document very easy for us to reference. Every inspo picture, every color choice, every vendor, and every moment in the timeline all laid out very easy to see. During the planning phase, she was fantastic! Then the day of our wedding arrived. A day that has a tendency to be filled with some stress and anxiety before the wedding even starts, but me, I had none. I was marrying my best friend, and I knew that the wedding was going to go perfectly smooth because Connie was there. She took care of setting everything up, communicating with vendors, having drinks ready for us as soon as we entered the reception, and even going as far as making our plates of food. Before the event started, she came up to me and immediately asked if I needed anything, asked how I was feeling, and told me if there was anything I needed to let her know. She also told me, that we were her third event of the weekend, and she hadn’t slept from the event the night before, because they had to get in the car and drive a few hours to us. But you couldn’t even tell. Her dedication, her commitment to the couple, and the attention to detail far exceeded our expectations. She helped deliver what is now one of the most magical days in both of our lives. “The title says it all... Emily is IN-CRED-I-BLE!!! We worked with Emily for well over a year on our wedding and she handled anything and everything that we needed help with. Whether it was finding vendors/venues and contacting them, handling paperwork, setting up calls, tours, etc., Emily put our mind at ease with it and took care of it. She's also incredibly personable and fun to talk to! By the time our wedding came, it was bittersweet because we had looked forward to our weekly calls with her! “I found Alexa on the Knot and booked her for Monarch’s full wedding planning package as my husband & I were planning a wedding outside of Chicago in an unconventional venue, 9 months away, and lived in another state. It was a big challenge but from the initial consultation, we loved Alexa’s energy, organization, commitment and just knew we could trust her with our once in a lifetime event. The planning process was extremely organized, thorough and well-paced. She matched my attention to detail, tackled unplanned challenges with ferocity (which included a limited selection of vendors given the location of our venue) and was as dedicated to bringing my very specific vision to life as I was. She brought great vendor recommendations and connections and did countless hours of research on new vendors. Details were well-documented and thoroughly discussed to ensure all parties were aligned. Even though our venue was farther outside Chicago (Indiana), she ran several venue walkthroughs in-person, attended vendor visits with me, and always accommodated my husband and I’s busy schedule. “We had the absolute pleasure of working with Michelle (Bustle & Lace) as our wedding coordinator at Sarabande Chicago, and I can't imagine our day without her support. Our wedding was a bit complex, it included a Hindu ceremony in the morning, followed by a break, then a traditional American-style cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. Michelle handled every piece with grace and precision. Having had an Indian-fusion wedding herself, she was especially knowledgeable about many of the cultural details involved, which made us feel even more confident and understood throughout the process. One of the things that drew us to her was her unique coordination model, where we met with her every few months for a year leading up to the wedding. My husband and I knew that we wanted to stay very involved in the decision-making that went into wedding planning, and her package was the perfect fit for that. Even though we did a lot ourselves, Michelle’s expertise, thoughtful feedback, and vendor connections made the entire process feel guided and manageable. We actually enjoyed wedding planning more than we expected—largely because of her insight and support. She offered incredibly helpful input on our choices and timeline, and provided so much value long before the wedding day was even close. As we entered the final month, her coordination ramped up. “April was FANTASTIC!! I was unsure whether or not I wanted a coordinator- I had a hard time “giving up” control of my big day. When I first spoke with April- I knew that she was THE ONE! Kind, patient, understanding, and also a little bit of a perfectionist. ;) I hired April as “Day of Coordinator” only. April took everything I gave her on my wedding day and ran with it. She took my planning binder and I said “Good Luck!” She made it all happen! She quickly and effortlessly made my dream wedding perfect. She helped with decor, setting up, getting my dress on, helping me use the bathroom, putting my shoes on… anything you could think of!! And the professionalism and kindness was next level! A few days/weeks later, my bridesmaids told me about little fires that April put out that I had no idea about- problems with the DJ, the groomsmen trying to get drunk before walking down the aisle (April stopped them), and our Happily Ever After sign that kept falling.
