They really care about their clients and want them to have the best photos possible. During the wedding, Heather would always make sure I was comfortable by giving me flattering poses and pointing her portable fan at me when I was too hot from dancing at the reception, ha! “I couldn’t be happier with my experience working with Ali! She reached out to me on Zola and I am so glad she did. I was impressed with her portfolio and I really loved seeing how she would capture little moments in the weddings she had done. We set up a video call before booking and we clicked. She is very calm and helped with my pre-wedding nerves. She worked with us on a payment plan and she was always very quick to respond to any of my questions. She really listened to what we wanted. She got to the venue early to scout out different shots and came to check in with me a couple of times before we even began taking photos, which I did not expect but was very sweet and considerate of her. When we were taking photos, she really helped to guide the more “posed” photos but she also captured a lot of beautiful candid moments. We had so many guests come up to us and compliment her and that was before we even got the photos back. She sent us our sneak peeks the next day and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the results. “Our journey with Ann Marie started when we won (after the first winners didn’t need it after all) her engagement photo package at the Portland Venue Crawl. We were beyond grateful and excited to win such a valuable experience and quickly realized that Ann Marie was going to be so fun to work with. “Maria is INCREDIBLE, and we are so glad we chose her for our wedding photos. 1. She is super professional and prompt, but is also just a really cool person who did SO MUCH to calm our nerves leading up to the wedding. 2. Her photos are gorgeous. She has such good attention to detail, lighting, editing, and you can really really tell in the finished product. 3. She just takes photos of you whenever she is around, and got tons of great candids. 4. We had gorgeous sneak peeks within like 48 hours of the wedding - it was truly insane turnaround but was amazing for us to get hype and very quickly see high-quality photos of the day. 5. “We hired Steven and his team to do our wedding photos and videography. I really wanted a photographer that could capture the soul of the event, and Steven did exactly that. His photos are full of life, and I shared so many portraits with guests that actually got printed out or posted online. If you're looking for hundreds of photos of your wedding party that look exactly the same and for every planned second to be documented, Steven is not your person. If you're looking to hit the big moments but focus on capturing raw moments with timeless photos to get framed, I couldn't recommend them more. I never thought I would get a wedding video because it always seemed cheesy to me. But after watching examples of his work I fell absolutely in love with his videos. I've honestly had a hard time watching ours because it evokes so much emotion. Steven was collaborative and willing to go with the flow. We gave him the difficult task of being prepared for 3 different locations with totally differing lighting (indoor/outdoor plus shooting from high sun into the night). He puts an immense amount of care into his work and the photos are truly art that we will cherish forever. If there are specific things you want covered, be sure to share a list. When it comes to capturing the moments that can't be planned, he is on the case!”
