Every moment I have the privilege of capturing is such an honor. My biggest desire is to document your unique love story and give you tangible and precious moments that you will be able to preserve, remember, share, and feel for the rest of forever!
Documenting emotions that are raw, organic, and heartfelt! These photos are not meant to be staged poses, stiff moments, or inorganic emotions! Instead, these photos are meant to be a true representation of the love story within them. I used to try and pose or frame photos perfectly, but in doing this, I was taking out the natural moments that could have transpired while I was too busy trying to make it “look perfect”. Photos are meant to be wild, fun, free, and “imperfect”, because that is what makes a photo a perfect representation of each unique couple within it!

Engagement Photo Shoot
My Fiance and I met with Kalah for an Engagement Photo shoot (AKA practice photo shoot before the wedding) and we had such a fun time! Kalah made our experience very relaxed and comfortable, being that it was the first photo shoot my fiance and I had together. The pictures turned out fantastic!

Very Disappointed
I debated for a long time about whether to leave a review, and honestly, had it not been for the photographer’s unprofessional behavior a couple days ago — and my frustration at now having to spend hundreds more to redo my engagement photos — I probably would have just let it go. Our engagement photos cost 650. We paid for the photographer to travel to Spokane and shoot us at Manito Park. Looking back, the first red flag happened before we even started. My fiancé accidentally brought his keys and wallet and asked if he should run them back. We were told no, not to worry because they’d be edited out later. They weren’t. In almost every photo, you can clearly see his keys and wallet. The engagement shoot itself wasn’t terrible at first. A little awkward, sure, but not awful. We got maybe 2–3 poses in before it started absolutely pouring rain. I asked if we could wait it out under the gazebo for a few minutes because maybe it would stop. That suggestion got brushed off completely. There was never any offer to reschedule, never any concern about us getting drenched or covered in mud. I kept going because honestly, I didn’t mind the rain. I thought maybe we’d get some cute Pride & Prejudice-style photos out of it. We got SOAKED… the rain stopped literally five minutes later… and there was not a SINGLE rain photo taken. So hours getting my hair and makeup done basically felt pointless. I also said I didn’t want photos in Duncan Gardens because the grass was all ripped up. I was told, “Don’t worry, it’ll be edited.” It wasn’t. I worried about the mud on my dress and shoes. Again, I was told it would be edited out. It wasn’t. She also missed half the poses I specifically wanted, and the photos we did get honestly speak for themselves. Eyes closed, mouth open, never told we needed to straighten our posture, never told anything really. Out of 80 photos, I liked maybe 5. I couldn’t use any of them for save-the-dates or announcements. I knew I wasn’t going to love every single picture, but never before have I looked at photos of me and my fiancé and felt ugly until now. And even after all of that, I STILL wasn’t going to leave a bad review. I quietly spent another 1,000 redoing our engagement photos, plus 60 on dry cleaning and another 40 on Photoshop Express trying to fix the originals myself. What finally pushed me over the edge was what happened afterward. I got a DM on Instagram asking if I wanted to book wedding-day photography. I politely said we were going in a different direction. No “Sorry to hear that.” No asking for feedback. Nothing. Just left on seen and immediately unfollowed. OH — but she still kept me as a follower :) Overall, the whole experience left me disappointed both professionally and personally. We had lots of examples but I chose my favorites!
