What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photograph our wedding as planned?

I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement. This is also covered in my contract.

How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

The sooner you book, the better. Typically, couples book me about 12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

Question 3

How many pictures will we get?

Accepted Answer

You can expect about 50-70 images per hour of coverage. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

Do you also offer video services?

No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.

Will you edit all our pictures?

Accepted Answer

RAW photos that come out of the camera generally look sub-par. Until the photo is edited, the image is not finished, and that’s by design. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I will never have two different photos that are both great and only give you one of them. The photos you don't see are the duplicates, out of focus, eyes closed, hair in face, etc. The selection process is to whittle down the excess, so I can give you what you need: quality, professional photos.

Do we need a second shooter?

Having a second photographer at your wedding allows for more angles and more overall coverage. A second shooter is super nice to have and it just depends on how big your wedding will be & how much coverage you want.

How long will it take to see our pictures?

You will receive sneak peeks within a few days of your wedding and your full gallery will be delivered within 6-8 weeks.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, I have general liability and equipment insurance through Professional Photographers of America.

Do you travel?

Accepted Answer

I LOVE to travel! All travel costs, including mileage, airfare, hotel & rental car are covered by the client. Please inquire for a custom travel quote. ***If your wedding is in a location on my bucket list, there are discounts available!***

Do you bring backup gear?

Yes! I always have two camera bodies, multiple lenses, extra batteries and extra SD cards!

Can we meet you before our wedding?

Absolutely! I love to meet my clients before their wedding day! I think the more we can connect and get comfortable with each other, the better. One great way to do this is to book an engagement session with me. I would also love to get coffee with you and chat about how you met & what you are most looking forward to on your wedding day!
