Hey, I am Svanna! I am a Snohomish-based micro-wedding photographer creating cinematic, emotional images for couples who love deeply, and I mean deeply. I am married to my high school sweetheart and a mom, which means I see beauty in both soft and bold moments. My love for vintage cameras and film inspires everything I create. I want your photos to feel warm, real, and timeless like memories you can step back into and feel all over again. I am fueled by the philosophy that a good photo is made up of three things: light, time, and memory. This is the standard I hold myself to, and the goal behind every photo we make together.

With 65+ weddings under my belt, my approach is calm, guided, and centered around connection. I bring that expertise and guidance with every client. I photograph with intention because I know what it feels like to not have the photos you wish you had. My style captures quiet moments and celebrations authentically. The outcome is a collection of images that feel real, honest, and beautifully true to your relationship. My couples often say I make them feel completely at home from the very beginning, and like they were just hanging out with a close friend who happens to be insanely talented.

    Svanna is the best!!

    We absolutely loved Svanna! From start to finish, she was organized, communicative, and so easy to work with. On the wedding day, she was not only incredibly helpful but also flexible — ready to pivot and go with the flow whenever things changed. She made sure we got every shot on our must-have list while still capturing so many candid, joyful moments we didn’t even realize were happening. Our groomsmen especially had a great time during photos, which says a lot considering many of them don’t like photos, but they all complimented Svanna on her ability to make it a good time for them! The final gallery is absolutely beautiful — her editing style is timeless, natural, and truly brings the day back to life every time we look through it. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out and would 100% recommend her to any couple looking for a talented, easygoing, and genuinely wonderful photographer.

    The most talented photographer around

    Svanna made our wedding day truly unforgettable. Her work goes beyond the high-quality photos she provides. She is easy to communicate with and incredibly easy to get along with. Svanna met with us prior to our wedding to do an engagement session which resulted in gorgeous photos and allowed us to get to know her. She is so easy-going and fun, it felt like we were just hanging out! Having that relationship with her before the wedding was very important to me, it made me feel more comfortable and truly allowed for us to be more open and relaxed on a stressful day. Seeing her friendly face on the big day calmed my nerves! I knew I wouldn't need to worry about the quality of our photos or how our poses would look and that made all the difference to me. Svanna truly made all the difference in the world on our special day, I would recommend her to anyone!

    Best photographer ever

    Svanna is such an amazing and kind person and photographer. My husband and I are so glad that we went with Svanna to capture all the special moments of our wedding. She is so great to work with her, photography is beautiful, and she made the wedding day feel so special. We are happy to say we have found our go to photographer for all future life events too. We just can’t recommend her enough!

Most couples book about 12 months ahead. That said, don’t stress if your wedding is sooner! I’ve been known to swoop in for weddings less than two weeks away. (Full disclosure: I was a last-minute planner for my own wedding, so I get it sometimes love and chaos wait for no calendar.) Reach out anytime and if your date is free, I’ll happily join the adventure!
Yes, typically I do! But only with people I actually trust (and like). My go-to assistant and second shooter? My husband! Not only is he nice to look at, he’s also got a great eye for capturing moments and makes sure I’m drinking water, my flash is charged, and no detail is missed. Basically, he’s my personal superhero with a camera.
I shoot on a dual card system, and once I get home, I go full-on squirrel mode with your images making four separate backups to keep them safe. After four years in this industry, I’m proud to say I’ve never lost or corrupted a single photo. I take care of my gear, and I protect your memories like they’re my own. Once your wedding images are ready, you’ll have access to your online gallery for one year. Want to keep them safe and sound forever? For just $5/year, your photos can live online securely for a lifetime (less than the cost of a fancy coffee habit)!
For weddings, your full gallery will be ready in 8–12 weeks. Elopements typically take 6–8 weeks, and portrait sessions are usually delivered in 2–4 weeks. I take the time to carefully edit each image so your gallery is polished, cohesive, and ready to be treasured.
Yes! I travel all up and down the West Coast and as far inland as Montana. I’m based in Snohomish, but I love getting out and exploring new places. Having lived all over the West Coast, many locations feel like home while I’m working. Traveling to capture your love story is one of my favorite parts of this job, and I’m happy to go wherever your story takes you!
