My Passion for Photography started when I was a child. My grandfather was a photographer and I remember being so fascinated with the darkroom he had in his house. I think I always knew I wanted to follow in his footsteps and be a photographer, but I didn't figure it out until I was out of high school and got a job working at a studio. I loved working there, but didn't feel like a photographer since all I was trained to do was pose people, make them smile, and push a button. I wanted to do more, I wanted to play with light and capture more then just a forced smile. I wanted to capture emotion and the connection between people.

    You must hire Rebecca Jane Photography!

    Rebecca Jane Photography is, without question, a 12/10 in every possible way — Rebecca and Alex are simply the best photography team out there. Their photos are flawless, and honestly, there are so many incredible shots from our wedding that it's nearly impossible to pick favorites. Despite being insanely busy, their communication was outstanding, and they even worked in an engagement session around the holidays to accommodate us since we lived out of state — that kind of flexibility and care says everything about who they are. They're not just amazing photographers, they're even better people, and it showed in how beautifully they collaborated with all of our vendors, especially our videographer; Rebecca made a point several times to include shots she knew he'd want too, which is such a thoughtful, team-player mentality you don't always find. We also booked their photo booth and designed our own custom backdrop for it, and it ended up being a total hit — plus they shared all the photo booth pictures within our wedding gallery, which made it even more fun to relive. If you are searching for your wedding photography team, look no further — Rebecca and Alex are it, seriously.     Captured even the smallest moments beautifully...

    We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding photographer than Rebecca Jane Photography. From the very beginning, the communication was clear and reliable. Alex was great with helping us get the most out of our budget. He even coordinated directly with the venue on our timeline to ensure we got the absolute most out of our time with him. We were both a little anxious about taking pictures and really had no vision of what we wanted. Alex made us feel comfortable, relaxed, and completely taken care of from the start. You can tell Alex is an experienced photographer. He had a vision for each space throughout the venue and knew what cues to say to keep everyone engaged, even our sassy flower girl. Every special moment was captured so naturally and beautifully. We were both shocked and yet so incredibly happy. Looking through our photos brought us to tears, we felt like we relived the day all over again. The attention to detail and emotion in every shot was incredible. We’re beyond grateful and would highly recommend Rebecca Jane Photography to anyone.

Meeting in person is not necessary, our booking process is all done online, so no need to travel to meet with us. We can set up a phone consultation or talk over email.
Rebecca and Alex are both lead photographers and one of us will always be your main photographer. If you choose to add a 2nd photographer to your package, we sometimes will second shoot for eachother, but we also have a talented group of photographers we work with that second shoot for us.
The images you see on this site and on our facebook page are a combination of both of our work. We worked together for many years developing our shooting and posing style to be the same so our work is consistent.
We both shoot with Canon R6. It is a top of the line professional digital camera, and with our extensive knowledge of how to use it to it's full potential, and our creative vision, we are able to produce beautiful high quality images. We shoot with a varity of Canon L series lenses and mostly shoot with prime lenses.
We have 2 full sets of high quality backup equipment, don't ever consider hiring a photographer who doesn't! What would they do if their camera stopped working in the middle of your ceremony!? We always come prepared with extra flashes, batteries, lenses, ect...
The beauty of being a husband wife team is that we are always here for each other. We also have a group of photographers that we work closely with, and we are all there to cover for each other. We would secure a replacement photographer for you who has a similar style as us, and who will offer you the same package and price.
If a photographer shoots in RAW, the camera does not compress or process the image. What that means is that the file size will be much larger. The larger file allows the photographer much more room to enhance the image without losing data, which leaves you with a higher quality image. With that being said, I ALWAYS shoot in RAW.
Yes. Alex and Rebecca are both full time licensed professional wedding photographers.
To secure your wedding date with us, we require a retainer of $500. The remaining balance is due 1 month before your wedding date. We also have a standard contract that you will fill out via email.
No, unless you want to! We send you some informative emails that usually answer all the questions a couple will have about wedding day scheduling, and we send out questionnaires for you to fill out that will answer all of our questions.
We will need an itinerary from you that includes the photography schedule, we will provide you with a sample to get you started. We also need all of our questionnaires filled out.
We will check in with the bride or groom to let them know that they have arrived, then we like to get a quick update in case any last minute changes have been made. Once that is all taken care of we will pretend we are invisible and will get to work capturing your day!
We will spend the next few weeks going through each image one by one and bringing them to life with a little post-processing. Once they are all ready you will receive an email from us with a link to an online gallery where you will be able to view your images and share with friends and family.
