Hello, friends! I'm a wife, momma, & self proclaimed adventurer. I live with my husband, Ryan, in Central Missouri, but spend a lot of time on the road traveling! From Colorado & the PNW to Germany & New Zealand, I'm a fan of world travels...and I'm more than willing to go just about anywhere for YOU! I'm here to capture ALL of life's adventures for you.
If you're looking for a laid-back, bubbly, mildly sarcastic gal to capture your day, you best believe I'm ready for it. If you want rigid, sterile, and stiff photos of your big day...we probably won't be a good fit. I know it's the little moments that often mean the most when looking back, so don't be surprised when you end up with tender photos of grandparents dancing, children playing, and sweet embraces with guests in your gallery. Yes, you'll get all the typical wedding photos, and we'll focus a LOT on capturing portraits of you & your love, but we'll also make sure you're able to remember the way your day truly FELT.

Amazing Work
What drew us to Forbis Fotography was the way Marissa is able to capture the feelings of the day. She has a way of being able to capture the picture at the exact right moment to capture real emotions. We were not let down with our wedding photos. She was a wonderful communicator leading up to the event and after, never leaving us wondering what would happen next. Additionally it felt like we had someone at our wedding who felt like a friend! She was warm, friendly, and able to make everyone comfortable while she snapped her shots. Marissa is fantastic and we can’t recommend her enough!

Bozeman Elopement
Marissa was amazing every step of the way. She helped to narrow down an elopement location base off of our wants. She also came up with a detailed schedule for the whole time spent with her, and options to choose from base off the location we picked! Due to weather, I had a freak out a couple days before the elopement. When I emailed her about my concerns, she responded within 15 minutes reassuring me she was making a back up plan and emailed a new detailed schedule with options within a few hours! And the pictures?! Phenomenal! Everything I could have hoped for!
