Chasing light and love filled moments

FINE ART. TIMELESS. DOCUMENTARY AND EDITORIAL IMAGERY. Are just some of the few words that I would use to describe my work. Having a photographer that you could trust is a big deal! I totally get that. Which is why I want to be the photographer that is there for you in every season of your life to freeze those moments that mean the most to you. So that 15, 20, and even 30 years from now, you have these memories to look back on and share with your generations to come!

I really strive to tell your story in the most unique and real to life way. But also love to take my tine in fine tuning each image, giving you museum quality heirloom images that stand the test of time.

    Steer Clear

Married October 2026, we just concluded business with Crystal in June. I am extremely disappointed in the choice to use Crystal and her husband as our photographer and videographer for our wedding day. Despite seeming kind and cheery leading up to the day, she and her team were unpleasant to work with day of. Crystal seemed irritated that we were running behind schedule and generally overwhelmed by the chaos of the day. It was communicated to us that the extra photographer that she had with her, as well as the videographer would often be in separate places during get ready time, the reception, etc in order to try to get the best coverage possible. Instead, they all hovered around one another as though they didn’t know how to operate independently. It came across as inexperienced and unprofessional and led to a lack of coverage of several important things throughout the day. Unfortunately, the entire group’s lack of experience also showed up in the low quality of many of the photos. It is clear that she does not understand many of the basic concepts of photo framing, nor does she understand how to make her camera work for her without horrible flash shadows in any lower light setting. Additionally, it took her well past the stated contracted date to get results to us. Two months after our wedding, she was going on maternity leave, and while personal bumps in the road are understandable to a degree, I would have expected a professional to have failsafes in place in order to deliver the contracted services. Because of her failure to plan ahead, we did not receive our photos until several weeks after the latest promised date, which was too late for us to use for our secondary reception. The desire to use the photos and video for that event was very clearly communicated multiple times, including after the wedding. However, the biggest disappointment of all was the videography. I made it extremely clear during both booking and the check in that a full, uninterrupted, video of the ceremony, a recording of our private vows, and recordings of the speeches were what I cared for in the video. Anything else was extra. Instead, what was delivered was poorly edited private vows, a 15 min “overview” video, and chopped up speeches. When confronted about the lack of ceremony video, Crystal swung between claiming this was right and making excuses for why it went wrong. She blamed us running behind for why they couldn’t set up a camera to run the whole time, she claimed it wasn’t in the contract because we weren’t mic’d (the dj had a mic on the officiant, which they were supposed to link up with), she claimed that the extra time she gave us on the “overview” style should make up for it, and on and on. During all communication after the wedding, it was an absolute rollercoaster to communicate with her. She was extremely unprofessional and would oscillate wildly between understanding and venomous. She repeatedly blamed us for the downfalls of the results and it took her until February to finalize the results of the photo and video – she did go back in and add more photos to the gallery and provide more video footage, which still ended with a far cry from what was expected. After the results were as good as they could be, she agreed to provide a refund for the videography, which we received June 1st. I am so disappointed in the way she created such an awful experience around these photos and videos.

Crystal is absolutely amazing to work with!

Crystal is absolutely amazing to work with! My husband and I are both camera shy and she made us feel completely relaxed and comfortable while capturing the most pure and magical parts of our wedding. Her photos are stunning and we are so lucky to have them. I can’t wait to capture more milestones with her in the future!

Crystal is the best photographer to work with!

Whether you want full wedding coverage or just an elopement, Crystal is the best photographer to work with! I inquired about hiring her to shoot my elopement in Portland, OR. She promptly scheduled a phone call so that she could give me more information about how she structures her shoots, what her photography style is, and asked for details about how I wanted my pictures to look. She gave us ample time to consider and had clear (and extremely reasonable) pricing already posted on her website. Once our contract was finalized, she took the time to meet with us in-person about plans for the day of and our shot list. Crystal is an extremely gifted photographer and her experience shows not only in how she conducts her business but how she works with the couple and family on the wedding day. Neither myself nor my husband take a lot of photos so we requested a decent amount of pose structure and prompts for candid photos. Her pictures perfectly captured how our day looked and felt, I couldn't be more pleased with our experience!

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Crystal for multiple wedding photo shoots and personal photo shoots as well. Crystal is amazing to work with and is very dedicated to her craft and passion for photography. She always does her best to please her clients and works to give them the best results for beautiful lasting memories. If you are looking for a wedding photographer or any kind of lifestyle photographer, Crystal is the one to go to. She is professional, creative, and has an eye for detail every step of the way. Crystal makes sure her clients are comfortable, stress-free and confident from the start and to the end of sessions making the experience very enjoyable. The photos she delivers are always beautiful and amazing to look at. It really shows how much effort she puts into her work. Overall she is a joy to work with and I look forward to collaborating with her in the future.

    And the search ends here.

And the search ends here. My fiancé and I are in major awe! We were greatly blessed by Crystal who not only did such an amazing job with our photos but was also absolutely great at working with us personally. She has an eye for detail, made us feel very comfortable, and was very clear with communication and assistance. We knew we were in good hands. My fiancé and I had a very peaceful, warming, and fun experience. It was a true blessing to have had Crystal be our photographer for our engagement session and we are excited to keep our loyalty with her and her very blessed talent!

Yes, I offer videography on all photography collections as an add on.
I offer sneak peek preview 72 hours after your special day so that you can post on social media. :) After that, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 12-14 weeks after your wedding. Within this time, you can also expect to receive a USB drive with high-resolution image files, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
In my 6 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
Typically, couples book me about 12-15 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful and timeless. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal, skin smoothing and teeth whitening at no additional charge.
