Why me? Because I know how to read people. I know how to make sure you are taken care of. You have to spend ALL DAY with your photographer, so I am going to make damn sure we have a great time. When booking, I'm confirming we are compatible. I am out here making friends...You can't capture genuine emotion with no connection. For some real connection: I love music of all kinds, but emo bangers are forever my millennial heart, I'm obsessed with my big fluffy dog, Interracial couples are near and dear (cuz samsies), I drink a ton of caffeine, and my hot take is your wedding means only your opinion matters... no one else's🤘

Everyone is loved and safe with me. Sexual preference/orientation, race, religion, body type... I am here for whoever needs me. I want all of my couples to feel safe and respected, to know that they can fully be themselves. Whatever brings you bring to the table, I'm going to bring it to life in my photos. Plus... we are in for a blast! Dancing? Hell yeah! Laughing? Tons! And if you are taking a shot, I'll be right there with you... especially if it's Lalo. (iykyk) But make no mistake, I know how to keep composed, and help you have an absolutely seamless day :)

I highly recommend booking Makenzie Grall as your wedding photographer—it was truly the best decision I made! She was easy to communicate with and completely transparent about pricing and what to expect. After researching numerous photographers in the area, I found her rates to be fair and competitive. Makenzie’s laid-back vibe made my photo-averse husband feel comfortable during both our engagement and wedding sessions. She strikes the perfect balance of being relaxed yet assertive when it comes to capturing the shots you really want. Our mountain wedding photos turned out absolutely stunning, and I’ve received nonstop compliments on them. We got our sneak peeks quickly after the big day, which was such a nice surprise. We also opted for a second photographer, and Makenzie selected someone who was both highly skilled and incredibly friendly. I cannot recommend Makenzie enough—she’s amazing!

If you are unsure who to book for your wedding, Makenzie should be your first choice. From our engagement shoot, to the wedding day itself Makenzie perfectly captured us as a couple and actually got great photos of us, neither one of us likes taking photos often. Our wedding would not have been the absolute dream that it was without the work of this wonderful woman. I am so grateful for what she has done for us, and I know she can do the same for many more happy couples, and I cannot wait to see the love she continues to capture throughout her career.
