Hi! My name is Amanda, the Chef and Owner of Gingerly Baked. My passion is creating beautiful and delicious cakes and desserts for your special occasion. I refuse to compromise quality. Everything is made from scratch, with superior ingredients, and with love.

With over 20 years of experience as a professionally trained pastry chef, I am not just a cake artist, but a master in the art of pastry-making. I take pride in my ability to cater to a wide range of dietary restrictions and preferences. Whether you're vegan, gluten-free, or have any other dietary requirements, I've got you covered. My menu features a variety of mini desserts, chocolates, and cakes that will make your taste buds dance with joy. I believe that every event should have a dessert spread that is tailored to the occasion. I work closely with my clients to create a spread that matches their vision and exceeds their expectations.

    Amanda prepared the desserts for our winter wedding in Breckenridge and the experience of working with her was top notch. She made the dessert planning one of my favorite parts of the wedding planning process. I really love dessert, and wanted a table of mini desserts so guests could try several treats. Our wedding was a destination wedding, and Amanda worked with me to prepare a selection of sample desserts for me when I was traveling to Denver for work. She packaged them thoughtfully and I was able to bring some back to NYC to test with the groom. She was very responsive over email and text, and she provided great guidance on incorporating gluten free, dairy free, and vegan options into the menu. Aside the process of working together being a total pleasure, her desserts looked and tasted incredible. I would hire again in a heartbeat for any future dessert needs in CO. If you’re looking for desserts, I can’t imagine a better outcome and experience than Amanda. Highly recommend!

    As a fellow wedding vendor (photographer), I was absolutely blown away the first time I saw one of Amanda's cakes. This cake was made to look like layers of gold-laced turquoise with geodes in it. Absolutely stunning! Furthermore, as a vendor I had tasted many mediocre cakes, and Gingerly Baked was far and above what I have come to expect. When you hire Amanda you are getting the rare combo of a beautiful work of art as well as a delicious treat that everyone will be talking about. Most bakers don't take much time to visit the venue and set up and check in with the clients or other bakers, but Amanda made time to do this and it was so sweet. Amanda at Gingerly Baked was a delight to work with and I will 1000% be recommending her to all of my clients!

    Here’s the thing, you’ve found your baker. Amanda made our day even more of a dream. The cake was stunning and delicious and she even made baklava for us, since it’s part of my culture, and let me tell you - Nana would be proud. It was practically like tasting Nana’s all over again. Blown away. Amanda is also so sweet and went above and beyond with what we needed for our wedding. If I could give her 100/10, I would. I couldn’t add the picture here, but I did leave it on her Google reviews if you wanted to see it for reference! Think modern, bold pinstripe with natural orchids and floral mixture. So so stunning!

    When planning our wedding, we wanted something different and decided to go with pies instead of the traditional cake. We're so glad we did. Working with Amanda was an absolute breeze. Her pies weren’t just a hit— huckleberry, blueberry, raspberry, strawberry rhubarb, peach maple bourbon.....they were the talk of the night. Guests couldn't stop going back for seconds, even thirds. If you're considering delicious dessert or baked goods for any event, we can't recommend Amanda and Gingerly Baked enough!
