I’m Haverlee, (hay-verlee). Based in Iowa, I serve the Midwest, Western NC, Denver, and beyond. With nearly a decade of experience in the wedding industry, and well over 100 weddings photographed, it still surprises me how my love for this industry grows each year. This work is not about me, it's about the individuals in front of my lens. I can’t tell an honest story if I’m constantly interfering, directing, and manipulating moments. I want your photos to render cherished memories from your day with your people, not memories of your photographer. I’m there to tell the beautiful and imperfect story as it unfolds.

My ability to connect with and care for people, and my laser focus on detail, sets me apart in an industry overflowing with options. Your trust in me is the most significant piece of the puzzle, because when you trust me, you can relax. And when you can relax, you can show up as your truest selves. We truly cannot say enough good things about Haverlee. From the very beginning, she was so friendly and incredibly easy to work with, which made the entire day feel effortless. Of course, her photos are stunning, but what stood out most was how naturally she captured everything. Nothing ever felt too posed or forced. Every photo feels genuine and true to who we are. I mean this is the absolute best way possible, but there were so many moments where we honestly forgot she was even there, especially during our bride and groom portraits. She never felt in-your-face, but successfully captured every detail and emotion so beautifully. If you’re looking for a photographer who makes you feel comfortable, blends seamlessly into your day, and delivers breathtaking, authentic photos, Haverlee is truly the best.

She is incredibly kind and thoughtful, and her warm, encouraging demeanor managed to make two somewhat awkward people actually feel comfortable in front of the camera!
