I’m Haverlee, (hay-verlee). Based in Iowa, I serve the Midwest, Western NC, Denver, and beyond. With over a decade of experience in the wedding industry, and well over 150 weddings photographed, it still surprises me how my love for this industry grows each year. This work is not about me, it's about the individuals in front of my lens. I can’t tell an honest story if I’m constantly interfering, directing, and manipulating moments. I want your photos to render cherished memories from your day with your people, not memories of your photographer. I’m there to tell the beautiful and imperfect story as it unfolds.

My ability to connect with and care for people, and my laser focus on detail, sets me apart in an industry overflowing with options. Your trust in me is the most significant piece of the puzzle, because when you trust me, you can relax. And when you can relax, you can show up as your truest selves. And that’s when I can create photos that will be cherished for decades to come.

Couldn’t Have Asked for a Better Photographer
We truly cannot say enough good things about Haverlee. From the very beginning, she was so friendly and incredibly easy to work with, which made the entire day feel effortless. Of course, her photos are stunning, but what stood out most was how naturally she captured everything. Nothing ever felt too posed or forced. Every photo feels genuine and true to who we are. I mean this is the absolute best way possible, but there were so many moments where we honestly forgot she was even there, especially during our bride and groom portraits. She never felt in-your-face, but successfully captured every detail and emotion so beautifully. If you’re looking for a photographer who makes you feel comfortable, blends seamlessly into your day, and delivers breathtaking, authentic photos, Haverlee is truly the best.

Best Wedding Photographer!
We could not be any more thrilled with choosing Haverlee to take both our engagement and wedding photos. Incredible Photographer, Wonderful Human
We are beyond grateful to have had Haverlee as our wedding photographer. She is incredibly kind and thoughtful, and her warm, encouraging demeanor managed to make two somewhat awkward people actually feel comfortable in front of the camera! On the big day, Haverlee was so much more than just our photographer. She was a calming presence, a problem-solver (she even helped put pins in my hair!), and a true support system. Her expertise, organized timeline, and guidance made the day run smoothly! And then there's her work - absolutely stunning. She has such a gift for capturing real emotion—both the big moments and the quiet in-between ones. You won’t regret it!
Truly could not say enough great things about Haverlee and her immense talent! From our first inquiry email to delivering our final wedding gallery (early I should add), she was so kind, supportive and on the ball. Outside of capturing amazing moments during our engagement session and wedding day, one of the things we really appreciated was her willingness to help create our day of timeline. As a DIY bride, having someone who has done this countless times help us plan every minute of our day helped so so much and put our minds at ease. And let me tell you, day of, you won’t find someone else more prepared than Haverlee. She was there to help with make-up issues, fly away hairs, dress bustling, and even hand picking leaves and bugs out of the skirt of my dress to make sure our photos were perfect. Your wedding day is a once in a lifetime experience, highly recommend entrusting Haverlee to work her magic to allow you to remember the day perfectly thru her lens.
