    800 person Indian wedding book DJ Sohbash

    Planning an 800-person Indian wedding at the Schaumburg Renaissance is a massive undertaking, but hiring DJ SOHBASH was easily the best decision we made. He is the definitive expert for large-scale events. I wanted a high-energy, concert-level experience, and his production completely blew our minds. They built a massive 10’ tall x 30’ wide LED wall that transformed the whole ballroom, and the touring grade RCF sound system delivered crystal-clear sound to every single guest in that massive space. His live video dj mixing and word play transitions were absolutely next level, keeping our huge crowd hyped and on the dance floor all night.     Would NOT recommend

    Hiring DJ Sohbash with Cymatic Entertainment was one of the biggest disappointments of our wedding planning process. He came highly recommended by our wedding planners, who emphasized his experience with multicultural weddings and assured us that travel expenses would not be an issue because he would already be in Arizona for another event. Even at a discounted rate, his fee was more than three times what a local DJ would have cost, but we trusted their recommendation. One week before our wedding, after we had already paid his fee in full, he informed us that we were expected to provide him with a room at our venue. His contract did not require us to provide accommodations, and this expectation had never been discussed by either him or our wedding planners. Because this was raised only days before the wedding. Our planners were able to negotiate a discounted room rate with the venue, but we still had to pay for accommodations that were never part of our agreement. It left us feeling pressured into an unexpected expense at one of the most stressful points in the planning process. The music itself was also disappointing. Several guests commented that songs were changed after only short portions had been played, making it difficult to enjoy the dance floor. After the wedding, we learned that my uncle had been paying the DJ throughout the reception to change songs. As a result, many songs from our carefully prepared must-play list, including songs that were especially meaningful to us, were never played. Overall, we were disappointed by both the unexpected accommodation demand and the reception music. Based on our experience, we would not recommend DJ Sohbash or Cymatic Entertainment.
