I'm Alyssa, a Des Moines-based intimate wedding and elopement photographer with nearly 15 years professional experience behind the camera. I'm endlessly inspired by nature, art, and architecture, and you'll often find me photographing love in various gardens, museums, greenhouses, historic homes, parks and galleries. My style leans documentary with an editorial feel and some avant-garde influences. I got my start photographing Iowa’s music scene, where I've shot hundreds of live concerts and toured across the country with bands. My clients often describe my vibe as calm and reassuring, and my work as unforced, cinematic, and true to the day.
