We are Amanda and Zac Haigh. We got married too! We are your typical Coloradoans that enjoy a good craft beer, and a long hike. We are Colorado wedding and elopement photographers and filmmakers. We want to go beyond that though-- we want to get to know you and your story. It deserves to be told authentically and beautifully. We are Forest Picture Company, and we are all about serving and creating beautiful images of our unique and adventurous couples in Colorado and anywhere you are! Hiring ForestPictureCo for our wedding was the easiest and best decision we could have made! Amanda and Zach are positive and compassionate souls, who really care about the people they work with. Amanda and I actually grew up swimming together… And after experiencing the gift that was having her as our wedding day photographer, I can confidently say that - some 17 years later - she’s the same hard working, talented, caring, welcoming, and incredibly kind human I knew as a little middle school kid. What really stood out to us was how Amanda not only captured the big special moments of our wedding day, but also the transitory, the simple, the seemingly mundane - but made them come to life and feel just as special and important as the ‘more obvious ones.’ She was able to bring what we were feeling inside, and relay it to the camera roll. Anticipation, Joy, Elation, Gratitude, Connection, Love - these emotions feel palpable when looking at our wedding photos. Amanda floated around us throughout the day, capturing candid moments and letting things unfold naturally. When there was a posed shot, her direction behind the camera put us at ease, and made the day feel like an absolute ball, full of fun and celebration!(… which is absolutely what a wedding day should feel like, right?!) We are blown away by the quality of our wedding photos, and are supremely grateful for her willingness to embark on such a venture, (12 mile hike!), for our wedding ceremony destination atop the Sandia Mountains. Forest Picture Co. is, without a doubt, the best choice you could make for a wedding photographer. Neither my husband or I are very comfortable being in pictures but from our very first meeting Amanda made us feel at ease with the whole process and like we were naturals in front of a camera. Her knowledge about weddings helped us feel better about planning the whole thing and she helped make sure everything went by without any problems the day of by helping us get around, coordinating with family and venue staff, and going with the flow when things didn't happen exactly as planned. She’s so fun to work with, an amazing support, and her work is absolutely incredible. Every photo she took turned out amazing, but our favorites were the candid shots. They perfectly capture what an amazing day we had and the love and joy from everyone at our wedding. And we got our full album in record time so we and all of our guests could enjoy them. We can't wait to have an album printed to keep on our coffee table for everyone to admire! If we had to do it all over again Forest Picture Co. is exactly who we would pick to create memories of our day!

I don’t even know where to begin with Amanda and Zac. There is so much good, I don’t know where to start! Working with Forest Picture Co was the highlight of the wedding day, besides the getting married part, of course! They were patient and kind to everyone, took their time collecting the groups for photographs, and even worked with the DJ, and climbed on a ladder to get an epic cold sparkler shot on the dance floor that no one was expecting! They went out of their way, every single chance they got, to make us feel like celebrities on our wedding day. They are truly kind, genuine people who deliver on what they promise. That is not always easy to find in the wedding industry these days. Oh, and did I mention that we moved our wedding from Colorado (their home base) to North Carolina…and they still showed up for us!? Working with Amanda and Zac was easily one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning process, and we would choose them every single time.

Choosing the right photographer & videographer for our elopement was so important to us, and we struck gold with Amanda and Zac! From the initial Zoom meeting, we felt they had been very attentive to our wishes. Amanda plays a very helpful role in planning and finding vendors, upon request. They are both so very tech-savvy and know how to explore options to make our elopement dreams come true. Zac's video is breathtaking, we love how our scenic day was captured and the choice of music really tugs at our hearts allowing us to feel our romantic adventure on screen. Amanda's photography skills beautifully enhanced what I couldn't believe was REAL LIFE! Both Amanda & Zac were not only talented but also incredibly professional. They arrived early, familiarized themselves with the location, and were open to our ideas while offering valuable suggestions based on their experience. Their calm demeanor and easy communication made us feel at ease throughout the day, allowing us to focus on each other while they worked their magic behind the lens.
