Q: How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame!

Q: What is your delivery time?

After your session, I will send a sneak peek within 24-48 hours! I use a gallery service called pic-time which allows me to share your photos in a beautiful gallery and allows you to order prints, calendars, cards, and canvases amongst other things if you desire to do so! You have access to your gallery for 6 months and after that, you will be responsible for storing your photos. No prints or albums are included in the paid cost.

Q: Where are you based? Do you travel?

I am based in Portland, Oregon but I am a sucker for traveling internationally wherever your love story will take me. Inquire to learn about travel fees :) - Some of my favorite places I've been to are Mexico and Europe. Check out my TRAVEL page on my website for discounted bucket list locations!

Q: Will you edit all our pictures?

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness in my style to ensure they look beautiful!

Q: How many pictures will we get?

You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photography. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

Q: What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photograph our wedding as planned?

In my 3 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never canceled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant.

Q: How long will it take to see our pictures?

My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding. I will deliver your photos via an online gallery where you will have full access to your images in web and high resolution. You will also be able to share this link with friends and family members :)

Q: Do you also offer video services?

No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.

Q: Do you work with assistants or other photographers?

Depending on the size of your wedding I sometimes will recommend my couples to add a second photographer to their package (4 hours minimum). If you are eloping or having a smaller wedding I can handle the coverage all by myself!

Hello! My name is Dana (pronounced 'Donna') and I was born and raised in Mexico, and now I currently reside in Vancouver, WA with my husband and three fur babies. I love to travel and explore the beautiful Pacific Northwest, and beyond! I am so grateful to be able to photograph couples and families displaying so much fun and love. I primarily shoot couples, maternity & destination weddings, and elopements. When I'm not working behind the camera, you can find me hiking, doing pottery, painting, practicing yoga, playing music, or finding new places to eat.

I want to know you and your story. I value my job so much because I feel like I get to establish very real and intimate connections with my clients. I want you to feel like you can trust me with your most important life events and moments. This trust can then translate into candid images as you feel relaxed in front of the camera.

Dana Will Capture Your Day Perfectly
Dana and her team are absolutely incredible photographers and such lovely people! Working with Dana was a dream because you can tell she loves what she does and is amazing at it! She had everything covered from capturing the most beautiful engagement photos to creating the perfect timeline for our day which allowed us to take stunning photos and never feel pulled away from the party. Her kindness and ability to hype us up made the photo process feel easy and unintimidating. She is so so worth the investment, I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to capture our day. Look no further, this is your girl!
We honestly can’t say enough good things about Dana. From the moment she showed up on our wedding day, she brought such a calm, fun energy that made everything feel easy. Neither of us are super comfortable in front of a camera, but she made it feel so natural, and we actually had a blast taking pictures! Also, we were thrilled with how the pictures turned out as well as impressed with just how many pictures were taken in general throughout the evening. She also coordinated family photos so effortlessly so that it was much less stressful and time intensive than I had anticipated. We highly recommend!

CANNOT Reccomend Dana Enough!!!
Dana captured our engagement photos and our wedding day so beautifully. Her style of photography is absolutely stunning, and it really felt like she captured the emotions and love of the day. She is great at directing but also gets so many beautiful candids. She is also the sweetest soul and has such a fun and calming personality. She fit in so well. We will be using her for every photo opportunity we have!

Amazing photographer!
Dana was our wedding weekend this winter and maternity shoot photographer last weekend. She is warm, friendly, and all of our family and friends commented on how sweet she was. She can also wrangled our family members for family pictures on the wedding day and kept things moving efficiently. She is a true artist and I feel captured my husband and I’s love perfectly. We will cherish the photos Dana took for years to come and look forward to booking with her for newborn and family photos in the future. We loved the organic feeling of her photos and working with her has been lovely! Highly recommend Dana!

Exceptional experience!
We absolutely LOVED Dana! She was amazing throughout the entire process, from our engagement shoot to our wedding day. Dana went above and beyond to capture our special day, our photos were nothing short of beautiful.
