Ashley of Blue Lark Events is a life saver. She helped me with venue research and day of services for a very reasonable fee. What I appreciated the most about Ashley is that she helped me stay organized. What I loved about Ashley was that she made some great suggestions and answered questions about what is common and she explained wedding trends. She saved me time, effort and money, as I otherwise would have made some decisions that were more expensive than were needed for the circumstances. One of the highlights of the wedding - that was loved by my guests and me - was Ashley's suggestion to do a photo bomb. Screw the photo both. You are the prop for people's photos. Stick the couple in the middle of the dance floor, play an upbeat song, and explain to everyone that they need to run behind the couple for a quick photo, taking turns. Rapid fire and in real time, those photos were hilarious. Folks grouped up for shots and couples jumped in our laps. Ashley also helped me source a really good photographer. What struck me the most was that I knew she was really great at her job after our various meetings over the course of many months, but my spouse didn't really interact with her much prior to the wedding. At the wedding he was like, "oh my God, Ashley has a sixth sense for whenever something is about to go wrong!" I was so smug - with a I told you so look in response. Be it a broken glass cigar ash tray that met the cement and is now attempting to ruin your shoes, an overturned umbrella making a run for it or that sound system that just is not acting as expected - she was there problem solving. After we got behind during the dinner speeches (which of course, she warned me about but I didn't police the speech writing), I lost all sense of control and LOVED IT. She was like you are dancing now, you are cutting cake now, you are photo bombing now - in much more rapid succession than had been planned. It was such a relief to just have someone handle us, as if we were celebrities getting ushered from one high profile moment to the next! Her quick action helped us make up time so that our guests weren't waiting around and so our vendors could be released on time. So why haven't you emailed Blue Lark Events yet? Do it now. PS - I included a picture that my photographer snapped right before the ceremony started. You can tell future hubbie needed to just be near someone and was regretting his decision to not have a groomsman wait with him. But it was fine, because Ashley's sixth sense was there. Always ready to calmly say what is about to happen and what will follow next. When I asked hubbie what Ashley said to him in this moment, he said, "I have no idea, but I guarantee you she was not freaking out like I was."

Hiring Ashley at Rose Event Co as our Day of Wedding Coordinator was definitely one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding. I thought I was going to be able to manage planning our entire wedding myself, but as the day crept closer and closer, I realized that I was definitely going to need a hand. We spoke with a dozen different coordinators, and Ashley just stood out SO strongly amongst the rest. To put it as simply as possible, she saw our vision, she understood it, she stood in and shared in it with us. She knew exactly how to support us in making it happen, and she was easily able to make us feel that. We initially had concerns about her being located so far away from us (we're in Oakland, CA), but she put those concerns to rest so quickly! Throughout my months of planning after hiring Ashley, she was always there to answer my questions, and provide support and reassurance in all of the little things that I just wasn't sure how to handle myself, and she did so with such grace, patience, and an air of calm that was so extremely helpful and reassuring. When the month of our wedding arrived, Ashley quickly got to work on communicating with and organizing all of our vendors and laying out the structure for the day. She traveled to Monte Rio to be with us the day before our big day, walked us through the ceremony, went over all of the details, and left us so confident and comfortable in her extremely capable hands. The day of the wedding, Ashley handled EVERYTHING and EVERYONE with such care and tranquility. All of our wedding vendors absolutely loved her, and we never stopped hearing about how great she was to work with! Ashley is an absolute BOSS in all of the best ways that you can imagine! She is supportive, encouraging, communicative, active, helpful, caring, the list just goes on and on. She wants you to succeed, and you can FEEL it. She remembered and double checked on all of the little details, before, during, and after our wedding, and words simply cannot express our gratitude. She did so many things automatically, that I hadn't even thought to discuss with her, but was so grateful that we had her there to do. Thank you Ashley!! She did so many little things that I didn't even realize until I started looking through all of our photos, and noticed that they had all been done. On top of all of that, she basically packed up the entirety of our decor with the assistance of her extremely helpful husband, which was such a huge relief for us and for our wedding party who had put so much into the day. We were all able to completely disconnect and just enjoy the evening, which was so unbelievably priceless. There are so many things that make Ashley stand out from other coordinators. So many coordinators that we had talked to before Ashley had a big list of things that they would NOT do, but not Ashley. She was willing to do whatever needed to be done to ensure that our wedding day went perfectly, and it did, thanks to her!! HUGE bonus, she brought along her Super 8 camera, and we CANNOT WAIT to see the footage!! If you're looking for someone who has your back, and can handle ALL of the things with a level of calm that oozes into everyone around her, HIRE ASHLEY! You absolutely will not regret it. My non-AI review: I need to start this by saying that I am a picky person - very type A, and I don’t trust people to take control of situations often. However, Hannah is someone I felt comfortable putting my trust in - from the start, she was transparent, knowledgeable, and one of the most competent coordinators I talked to - and I say this because we had booked another coordinator prior to booking Hannah, and the prior coordinator was not good at her job. So when it came to working with Hannah, it was such a refreshing and relieving experience. Take my word for it - this is the person to book if you’re wanting quality and competence in a coordinator - I will vouch for her 100%, she is truly worth the praise. She was extremely professional and personable - basically she took the weight off our minds the whole time - from rehearsal to wedding day. Everything we were stressing about before, we were able to let go of - she took over, which meant decisions were being made and things were getting done. We got sooooo many compliments, even from my really hard to please family and friends - seriously, a huge part of the success of the wedding was Hannah’s planning. The biggest and constant compliments we got was that the wedding had many thoughtful touches, was an actual fun time, and was well scheduled - “everything was seamless” is a compliment we heard a lot - and I agree. She kept the whole day moving forward while delegating and coordinating - I didn’t have a single thing to worry about, which is a rare feeling. She even took videos and photos for us, which I had no idea was happening and was such a thoughtful surprise - it was so beautiful to have an album of memories to look at once the night ended - beautiful memories which was so nice since we knew our photographer would take a while to send us our pictures. In summation, if I had to do it all again, I would go with Hannah every time. All my wedding party and close family that interacted with her was impressed with her skills and the way she directed vendors and handled crowds. We were truly lucky that she was available for our wedding day. Thank you for everything Hannah - you’re a spectacular person and wedding coordinator. I’m forever grateful for you.

Working with Jodie at Aisle Ready Events was easily the best decision we made throughout our entire wedding planning process! My now wife was busy in grad school and I know nothing about weddings, so we knew right off the bat having an experienced planner helping us was the way to go. But after the wedding was all said and done, it is incredible looking back at how easy Jodie made the experience. She found us incredible vendors, always asked the right questions that we would never think to ask, and planned the most beautiful wedding I've ever been to (or in this case been the main part of)! After our experience, we have been telling everyone we know that they must get a wedding planner if they want to enjoy the planning process and especially the wedding day. We live down in Southern California so having Jodie available in Oregon was essential and she delivered. We couldn't recommend her enough to anyone planning their wedding up in Oregon!

Paige met with us and our other vendors regularly leading up to the wedding, and she was always prepared, took meticulous notes, and followed through on everything she needed to do. My wife, Lindsey, and I were blown away by Tabria and her assistant Rebecca! Tabria was our day-of coordinator, and made everything go so smoothly the entire time. It was the most beautiful, perfect day! No wedding is completely perfect, and we absolutely had our little mistakes here and there, to no fault of our own–just misplacing items and not being able to find certain ceremony items. Tabria was there for us 110% and still made sure everything went right! Somehow our glassware for the traditional “breaking of the glass” went missing, and she was able to find replacement glassware for us to use! I was having a small issue with the venue the morning of–our sound equipment had not been provided yet, and I thought that it was arriving a little later than expected, even though I was told it would be there at the time of set up. When it was getting closer and closer to the ceremony, and there was still no sound equipment, I asked for Tabria’s help. I was getting really stressed out and it was eating into my getting ready time. She was so, so helpful, and even gave me advice on how to approach talking to the venue manager about it once she arrived on site. I so appreciate her help–without it, I fear I would have completely lost my cool. I was also trying to help folks decorate and let them know where things go, but with the stress of this situation, I was really overwhelmed. She told me not to worry about things, took the reins, and everything was absolutely gorgeous when we walked out. One of my groomsmen had a terrible rip in his pants right before the ceremony started. We have no idea how it happened, but it was really bad. Thankfully, his suit jacket covered it for the ceremony, but he was obviously horrified and wanted to be able to take his jacket off. We later learned that Tabria sent her assistant, Rebecca, out on a mission to get him a new pair of pants! Our wedding venue was tucked away in Wine Country, in Newberg, and she had to drive at least 20-30 mins into town to find something for him, in his size, in the correct color. She came back with a new pair of pants and my groomsman was amazed and relieved! All in all, the schedule of events worked out exactly as we had planned it, and she was so lovely to work with. We could not have asked for a better coordinator! We cannot recommend Tabria enough! You can truly trust her!
