Aristide, Mansfield was an excellent wedding venue choice for us. The staff, particularly Miranda, communicated effectively with us throughout the planning process and were open to answering any last-minute questions, no matter how "dumb" they may have seemed. The venue itself is beautiful and spacious, requiring minimal additional decor - our guests kept commenting on how lovely the space was. We accidentally left several items behind at the end of the night, and the staff was generous in returning them to us. Overall, Aristide, Mansfield provided a wonderful backdrop for our special day and I would highly recommend them to any couple searching for a beautiful, low-stress wedding venue.

From the very first moment to the very last, Madera Estates was nothing short of a dream come true for my husband and I! I’m a very Type A bride (lol!) who loves having every detail planned to a T and I can honestly say that on our wedding day, I didn’t have to worry about a single thing. Alexa and the entire Madera team were phenomenal, effortlessly keeping everything running smoothly and allowing us to truly be present and soak in every moment. An extra, extra special shoutout to Alexa, who went above and beyond in ways we will never forget. She made sure the night ran without a single hiccup, brought us our signature drinks, and ensured we didn’t miss out on any part of our celebration. Her attentiveness, calm presence, and genuine care made us feel so incredibly supported and special. The experience was so beautiful that I often joke with my husband, “Do you want to get married AGAIN at Madera?” That’s just how magical it was. From our very first consultation back in January 2024 with Ian and Alexa, it was clear that our vision truly mattered. Every conversation, every detail, every step of the process felt intentional, like our dream wedding was at the forefront of their minds. And wow… Madera delivered!!! Our wedding day was absolutely magical. It felt deeply personal, perfectly executed, and filled with so much love and joy. Our hearts were — and still are — incredibly full. Overall, we would absolutely choose Ashton Gardens Corinth again. We had a wonderful experience with the venue and Walter’s Wedding Estates overall, and I’m sharing this review in hopes it helps future couples researching venues. First, our wedding planner and coordinator, Becca, was incredible. She is extremely organized, a great communicator, and such a kind person. Our day would not have been the same without her. She kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes, checked in on us throughout the day, and truly made us feel supported and cared for. Venue: The beauty of Ashton Gardens is truly unmatched. The chapel is breathtaking, and I will never forget the moment the doors opened for me to walk down the aisle. The bridal suite was exactly what I hoped for and comfortably fit me, my seven bridesmaids, both moms, and our hair and makeup artists without feeling crowded. The groom’s suite is smaller, so the groom and his groomsmen chose to get ready off-site, which worked fine for them. One thing we loved is that the reception space is just a short walk from the chapel, making the transition to cocktail hour and the reception very easy for guests. The reception hall is spacious and offers a lot of flexibility for floor plans. We had 142 guests, plus a rented dance floor and dueling piano players, and the space felt perfect. One thing we wish we had known before booking is that the “included” rehearsal hour is only offered Monday–Thursday. Rehearsals outside those days require an additional fee. Food & Drinks: We chose the exceptional catering and bar package through Walter’s. Unfortunately, the food ended up being our least favorite part of the wedding, which is the only reason we are giving a four-star review instead of five. Several guests mentioned their meals were cold or dry, and we later learned the last table served received noticeably smaller portions, which was disappointing given that our final guest count was submitted well in advance. However, the team did a great job accommodating guests with dietary restrictions. Along these lines, we were disappointed that there was no opportunity to have an actual tasting to choose our menu, so we chose a chicken and steak duet as a safe choice. We did attend a Walter’s showcase, but they only had pork, fish, or chicken to try that night. Since we had fewer than 150 guests, we paid to have both bars open, which we highly recommend to avoid long lines. Guests had great things to say about the bartending services, and the signature drinks were fantastic. Vendor Package: The vendor package was a huge benefit. Not having to worry about rentals like linens, plates, glassware, and tables saved us a lot of time and stress. The vendors we worked with through the package were professional, communicative, and wonderful to work with.

Situated on 42 beautiful acres with sweeping views of the San Gabriel River Valley, HighPointe estate offers exceptional service and beautiful spaces for your wedding or special event. Our story began when our son and daughter-in-law were married. We designed the flowers for the wedding and they were a hit! Soon, we were doing flowers for weddings all across Central Texas. It was during this season that we witnessed the challenges couples face - inadequate space, and poor “Plan B” options during bad weather. Every element of HighPointe Estate is designed with couples and event logistics in mind. We offer thoughtfully designed spaces to help you set the perfect mood for your big day. Our indoor spaces feature chocolate-brown trusses, stunning chandeliers, and loads of natural light streaming through large doors and windows. Outdoors, you’ll discover comfortable porches, beautiful gardens with water features, and plenty of room for outdoor fun!

Why you'll love this venue

  • Multiple event spaces
  • Classic elegance
  • Allows pets

Venue considerations

  • Not for you if you are drawn to more unconventional venues
  • Requires outside catering services
  • Does not have a dance floor
This is the best choice I could have made for our wedding day. The price was affordable for the Austin/Hill country area and there were no hidden fees. They added in a perk like leaving greenery in the chapel up for no additional cost! The venue itself is breathtaking, although the floors might need a good wash! Dawson, the owner, is attentive in responding and was a majority of the time kind although sometimes seemed somewhat standoffish, whereas it was a bit harder to reach Jena (over a days response wait). Scheduling for the final walkthrough and the rehearsal was a bit of a pain, but everything managed to work out! Miscommunication closer towards our wedding was more common but was not the usual. Overall this venue, with its beauty and calmness helped make our day perfect.

Once I saw the venue online, I knew that this was one. The venue itself is stunning. I am fairly type B and found the wedding planning process pretty overwhelming, but luckily, they offer a package that includes catering, bar, linens, DJ, and day of coordination. On top of that, they partner with Tease to Please and B. Blumen Flower Farm, which made choosing the last of our vendors even easier. The Springs also offered several tastings so we could try different menu items and get a feel for what both the catering and bar could provide. The catering was absolutely delicious, even better the night of the wedding than it was at the tastings. The bar was amazing, and the bartenders were wonderful. Our DJ was incredible. We were assigned Steven Carroll, and he was fantastic to work with. We had a call, I sent him the playlists I had been building, and they use an app that made everything seamless for both of us. He even scheduled a follow up call the week before just to check in. He did not miss a single beat and had almost everyone out on the dance floor with no line dances needed. I truly cannot thank Steve enough. The biggest blessing of the entire process was our day of coordinator, LINDSAY LEMMONS. The woman you are. From the moment she showed up, everything felt completely seamless. She handled every detail big and small, and we were able to be fully present and enjoy each moment without a single worry. She managed the timeline flawlessly, kept our vendors in sync, and somehow anticipated needs we did not even realize we had. When tiny hiccups popped up, she handled them quietly before we even knew they existed. Our ceremony flowed beautifully, our reception ran perfectly, and I felt genuinely cared for the entire time. Thanks to her, our wedding day felt effortless, organized, and perfect. And she truly thought of everything. Once the bar opened, she already had my drink waiting for me. From the moment she arrived to the moment she left, she made sure I had everything I needed. She was the perfect partner in crime for the final stretch of wedding planning, and I could not be more grateful that she was our coordinator. We could not recommend her more. Tease to Please did our hair and makeup, and they were perfect. Laci Coker did our hair and gave every girl exactly what she wanted, even those who told her to just freestyle. I really wanted to wear my natural curls, and Laci made it happen. She enhanced my curls so they looked flawless all night. Tiffany Pham did our makeup, and she was incredible. I was convinced I would need a full redo after our first look and private vows because I was sobbing, but my makeup did not budge. Both girls were amazing and so much fun to have with us during the getting ready process. For florals, we used B. Blumen Flower Farm. I already followed her on IG, so I knew the arrangements would be amazing. But I was still a little nervous because I did not really have a color scheme. I just sent her the bridesmaids' and the moms' dresses and let her do her magic. And it was literal magic. I know I am biased, but I truly do not think I have ever seen more beautiful flowers. They brought everything to life. I cannot express how grateful I am for everyone who helped make our day perfect. Every single vendor we had was the perfect fit and helped with anything and everything we could have dreamed of. If you are considering booking, DO IT! It is so worth it.

Eden Event made our wedding absolutely unforgettable. I would recommend them a thousand times over. Rosy and Alexis were incredible to work with — they truly listen, they communicate, and they bring your vision to life with so much care. They are exceptional coordinators who stay by your side from the moment you arrive until the very end. The venue itself is spotless, beautifully maintained, and very well organized. The entire staff goes above and beyond to accommodate you, no matter what you need. Even though it rained on our wedding day — February 14th, the day of love — they pulled everything together flawlessly at the last minute. They never missed a beat, and they made sure our day was perfect. I highly recommend Eden Event to anyone looking for a team that is dedicated, professional, and truly invested in making your special day everything you dreamed of.”

We could not believe this venue existed when we discovered it. We thought surely there’s not a place that can bring a Tuscany yet Spanish but also Greece vibe, right? We knew when we first toured and met Missy we immediately knew this was the one. Missy alone is worth it to book, she’s just that good. She is so helpful and knowledgable about the property and the wedding planning process and genuinely cares deeply about every couple that gets married there. She was always checking in and seeing how she could help and always answered any questions in a quick fashion. Her and the other staff made our day better than we imagined. The venue itself is so beautiful you really don’t need much decor. The venue’s layout makes the timeline of your wedding flow smoothly from the different outdoor ceremony options to cocktail hour in the courtyard and reception in the stunning reception hall with the back patio. If your’e hesitant to book, go check it out and in person, it will take your breath away.

Chateau Bellevue was the perfect venue for our wedding! From the moment we first contacted them, the staff was incredibly quick to respond and personable in their communication. We knew right away that they would be a great fit. On the day of the wedding, they exceeded our expectations - the venue looked stunning with the table and chair setup they provided, and having their two huge parking lots in downtown Austin was an absolute lifesaver. Our wedding party was even able to park overnight and walk to the nearby bar district after the reception. This hidden gem of a venue is not only historic and charming, but also an incredible value. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our special day. I would highly recommend Chateau Bellevue to any couple looking for a beautiful, stress-free wedding experience.

Ashton Gardens West Houston
Rating: 5.0 (23 reviews)
Houston, TX
  • Up to 300 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor

West of the city, just outside Katy, Ashton Gardens West Houston is a glass chapel wedding venue that leans into restraint. Its serene, light-filled chapel is framed by oversized windows that pull the surrounding greenery indoors, setting a calm tone before a single guest is seated. From there, the space opens dramatically: a grand ballroom of sprawling crystal chandeliers, glass walls, and soaring ceilings, elegant enough that it asks very little of additional decor. A staircase entrance adds a beat of theater on the way into the reception, while manicured grounds and the venue's signature doors give photographers no shortage of polished backdrops. Meanwhile, spacious getting ready suites keep the morning unhurried. This is a glass chapel wedding venue for couples drawn to grandeur that doesn't shout, comfortably hosting up to 300 guests without ever feeling crowded or overdone.

Let me first say this venue is absolutely stunning! My fiance' and I were looking for a place that needed minimal decor and we stunted across Ashton Gardens will looking through The Knot. The chapel is gorgeous and the windows really do set the tone for an elegant wedding! The reception hall which is just a few steps away is equally beautiful, not needing really anything at all to enhance the look. My wedding planner is Sheila and she has been fabulous along the way. With the being my FIRST and ONLY marriage, I have so many questions and believe me I had emailed Sheila probably more than I text my fiance, but she is super sweet and has answered every question I had without any hesitation. The service is amazing and I really could have not prayed for a better venue; mind you I looked at 30 locations across the Texas area.

Big Sky Barn

Montgomery, TX
  • Up to 250 guests

Big Sky Barn doesn't try to look understated. As a rustic wedding venue, it leans fully into its materials, warm reclaimed wood, sleek metal accents, and rugged stone, stacked together across 17 acres of Montgomery, Texas pine and hardwood until the whole property feels unmistakably rustic-chic. Guests can take a scenic detour across a covered bridge and wander beneath an ivy-covered pergola en route to the ceremony. Following the ceremony, cocktails are poured from a vintage truck repurposed as a bar. Cornhole and string lights keep the courtyard lively through golden hour, while vintage windows and reclaimed textures give every room a sense of history rather than staging. It's the kind of rustic wedding venue that photographs like it's been loved for decades, even on its very first booking, comfortably hosting up to 250 guests who want laid-back elegance with real, tactile character running through every corner of the property

AvantGarden (and Mariana, the owner) did a great job with our wedding, especially considering the extreme weather we experienced! We appreciated that the venue was mostly all-inclusive, especially when planning the event from out of town, and for a very reasonable price! The event space itself has a casual, fun vibe with plenty of room for our guests (175) to explore and excellent food and drinks. Many of our guests made a point to come up to us and tell us how much fun they had and how awesome the venue was, and we were shocked by how many people said the taco truck (venue recommendation) was the best wedding food they had ever had! The staff was great and made some excellent cocktails and I also have to shout out DJ Dillon for bringing such a fun vibe to our karaoke after party (another Mariana recommendation). You do need to put your faith in Mariana and be prepared to "let go", however. If you're looking to be very hands-on and are particular about all the little details, prepare to be frustrated because that's not the way Mariana works. She has her own process and knows what will and will not work based on experience, and she can be tricky to get in touch with until closer to the wedding date. Ultimately, though, she came through and did an excellent job for us. Trust in Mariana! Overall, it was super helpful that AvantGarden took care of most of the wedding planning (including delivering our flowers to our off-site ceremony venue), and the space made for such a fun atmosphere during the reception. I would definitely recommend AvantGarden as a wedding venue, especially for couples who are looking for a less stuffy and more unique atmosphere and who are looking to be more hands-off in the planning process.

Nine wooded acres just outside Houston set the stage for Jennings Trace, a contemporary wedding venue built on clean lines and confident restraint. Vows happen inside the glass-enclosed Wildrose Chapel, where polished concrete floors, black steel beams, and floor-to-ceiling windows frame the surrounding forest instead of blocking it out, letting natural light do the heavy lifting. Nothing here feels dated or over-decorated; every surface reads intentional. We were married in October 2024 and it was truly the best day ever. Seriously! We were truly blown away at the level of service and dedication that the Walters staff showed to us on the wedding day, Faith was a pro and helped to make sure that everything went seamlessly, from the rehearsal to the grand exit. Leading up to the wedding, the planning meetings were super helpful and we had so much fun attending all the venue showcases to taste the catering. I immediately knew I wanted The Springs in Wallisville, TX as my wedding venue from the moment that I saw it. Aesthetically it was the perfect venue for me, but before booking the venue, I needed to make sure the staff would meet my expectations. They not only met my expectations, they exceeded them. For over a year, they responded quickly and professionally to all my text messages and emails, and accommodated last minute requests to stop by the venue. It was a requirement to use Corn & Rye as the bartending service and to use The Springs catering. I was VERY nervous about this as I have had bad experiences with required vendors in the past. My worries were unfounded as both the bar and catering services were excellent. The drinks and food were both delicious, on time and served by friendly staff. I used their photobooth offered through The Springs DJ. The attendant was friendly, funny and able to get the guest to let loose for some of the best photos of the evening. I also booked my photographer through The Springs. The only complaint that I have is in relation to the photographer. When booking with the photographer, you do not know who your day of photographers will be until the day of. I did my engagement shoot with one lady - who I absolutely loved. For the wedding day we had two different photographers and I didn't feel that we "clicked" with them as well as the one who did our engagement shoot. That said the pictures are absolutely amazing and I would 100% book them again.

About wedding venues in Texas

Why Is Texas an Exceptional Wedding Destination?

Texas offers an incredible variety of wedding settings across its diverse landscapes. You'll find everything from romantic Hill Country vineyards to stunning Gulf Coast waterfronts that provide perfect backdrops for your special day. The state is home to countless venues that showcase authentic Texas character while still matching your personal style. Think rustic barns where longhorn cattle graze nearby or sophisticated urban venues with dramatic city skyline views that'll impress your guests. Many Texas venues incorporate unique regional touches you won't find elsewhere; live country music that gets everyone dancing, mouthwatering BBQ stations and custom boot favors that celebrate local heritage. Whether you're planning an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, you'll find Texas venues ready to accommodate your vision.

What's the Average Cost of Wedding Venues in Texas?

Wedding venues in Texas typically cost between $3,000 and $30,000+ depending on what you're looking for. The national average runs about $6,500-$12,000 which represents roughly 25% of your total wedding budget. Your overall wedding costs will depend largely on how many people you're inviting to share your special day:

Guest CountAverage Total Wedding Budget
50 guests$19,410
100 guests$32,365
150 guests$44,545
200 guests$55,433
250 guests$66,322
300 guests$77,211
In Texas specifically, venues typically account for about 16% of your total wedding budget with couples spending an average of $6,932. This gives you plenty of room in your budget to customize other elements of your celebration that matter most to you and your partner.

Which Wedding Venue Types Are Most Popular in Texas?

Texas venues offer distinctly regional experiences that capture the state's diverse character. Hill Country locations around Fredericksburg give you gorgeous vineyard settings with beautiful limestone architecture and sunset views that will take your breath away. If you're considering Houston, you'll find venues that thoughtfully incorporate bayou landscapes alongside sophisticated cosmopolitan amenities. Dallas spaces tend to showcase luxury urban environments with elegant design elements that create a refined atmosphere. Fort Worth venues perfectly blend Western heritage with modern conveniences for a uniquely Texan experience. November emerges as the most popular month for venue inquiries across the state, so you might want to plan accordingly if you're interested in this popular time frame.

How Far in Advance Should You Book Your Texas Venue?

Texas couples typically book their wedding venues about 16 months (or 457 days) before their wedding date. November stands out as the most popular month for venue inquiries so planning early is essential if you're considering this timeframe. This advanced booking timeline helps you secure your preferred date since popular venues often fill their calendars far in advance especially for prime weekend dates. Booking early also allows you to lock in current pricing before annual increases that many venues implement. Plus you'll have more time to work with venue coordinators to customize floor plans and discuss details that will make your celebration uniquely yours.

Where Can You Find Accessible Wedding Venues in Texas?

Madera Estates in Conroe stands out for its commitment to accessibility with fully paved event spaces that accommodate wheelchair navigation throughout the property. You can host up to 330 guests here and the venue is frequently praised for physically walking through accessibility needs during the planning process. You'll also find excellent accessible options at Jennings Trace near Houston which offers single-level celebration spaces. Hummingbird Hill Weddings in Chappell Hill prioritizes inclusive design throughout their venue and The Preserve at Canyon Lake features wheelchair-friendly pathways connecting all major celebration areas. These venues ensure all your guests can fully participate in your special day regardless of mobility considerations.

Which Texas Wedding Venues Offer Outstanding Culinary Experiences?

The Bell Tower on 34th in Houston delivers exceptional dining experiences under Executive Chef Sergio Arellano. His international culinary team creates gourmet meals on-site that will impress even your most food-savvy guests. Food-focused couples should also consider Steiner Ranch Steakhouse in Austin where you'll enjoy spectacular views alongside premium cuts of Texas beef. Cisco's Salsa Company near Tomball has built a reputation for their award-winning Mexican cuisine that adds authentic flavors to your celebration. Avenida Brazil Churrascaria Steakhouse in the Houston area offers a unique Brazilian steakhouse experience with tableside carving and a festival atmosphere your guests will remember long after the wedding day.

How Can Texas Venues Support Remote Wedding Participation?

For couples wanting to include loved ones who can't attend in person, several Texas venues now offer more than just basic streaming services. Venues like Agave Estates Mara Villa and The Middleton Venue in Katy specialize in creating interactive remote experiences that make distant guests feel truly present. You can work with these venues to design custom interactive elements that go beyond passive viewing. Think virtual guest books where remote attendees can leave video messages remote toasts synchronized with in-person celebrations and even coordinated dance moments. These thoughtful touches ensure everyone feels included in your celebration regardless of where they're located.
