MOON SHADOW HAVEN Established in the 1930's as the Mountain Home Cottages, Moon Shadow Haven on Johnson Creek is a little piece of Paradise in the Texas Hill Country, located just 30 minutes west of Fredericksburg in Mountain Home, Texas. The property boasts unlimited photo opportunities amongst its 17 acres of lush vegetation and towering trees. The venue itself is perched at the top of a bluff overlooking 1/3 mile of Johnson Creek and the wildlife that visits the creek. The Lodge

Finding inspiration in Colorado, the owners designed the venue as a picturesque lodge one might find nestled in the mountains.

The main room in our lodge is 4000sqft, and will accommodate 200 people at round tables, along with a dance floor in the center. It has both indoor and outdoor bar areas and a buffet serving area next to the catering kitchen. It also has both bride and groom suites for ceremony preparations. There are both indoor and outdoor fireplaces and an outdoor covered patio area overlooking the creek.
