We specialize in beautiful low stress wedding ceremonies and receptions AvantGarden is a one stop all inclusive wedding venue, florist and coordinator. .AvantGarden has 4 different areas: The upstairs is where people usually mingle and dance to a DJ. Downstairs is where the main bar and lounge area are located. A front patio with a fountain, and a lovely covered back patio where the ceremonies take place. Our 3 fully stocked bars offer a wide selection of wines, homemade sangria, micro-brewed local beers and premium liquors, as well as tea, coffee bar, juice and soft drinks. Catering and cake also included in our packages.

    Thank You, AvantGarden!

    Wow, I don't even know where to start! We just had our wedding here a week ago, and I'm still having withdrawals from what was such a wonderful weekend. Our wedding really was a dream come true—and all thanks to Mariana & her amazing team at AvantGarden. We actually used to frequent this spot a lot during our college days to hang out or for the other fun events they would host (anyone remember Westheimer Block Party!? And the life drawing sessions!). But we never knew that AvantGarden also did weddings & that they're a pretty popular venue so their schedule fills up fast. As soon a we were able to meet with Mariana & get a tour of the venue during off hours, we pretty much booked our wedding for the following year on the spot. We honestly didn't even bother touring any other venues, because AvantGarden checked off so many boxes from the get-go: it's centrally located in the Loop & in a prolific neighborhood with lots of things to do, so it'd be very convenient for our out of town guests; the venue is more unique & holds meaning for my husband & I as a former hang out of ours; and the pictures don't lie: it's a stunning venue whenever it's set up for a wedding & the atmosphere is more cozy & intimate. My husband & I are originally from Houston, but live out of state so we went with their all-inclusive package for ease of planning. It's also incredibly reasonably priced as far as weddings go. There's so much included in the package that would've otherwise been such a pain to try to book, manage, and pay for separately. You also have the option to customize your package to fit your needs: we did go with our own DJ & requested some desserts from our culture to be incorporated into the dessert table included in the package. Mariana was very accommodating with any changes or updates we had. She also acts as your coordinator, which is perfect since she owns the place. She's been doing this for over 30 years, so she has her system down to an art. We basically did not have to do anything on the day of; this allowed us to focus on the other parts of the wedding that were more fun like our graphics, signage, playlists, etc. We pretty much just showed up on our wedding day with everything ready to go! And it was all so beautifully done! The staff were so helpful & great to work with. Mariana had everything under control, so everything went smoothly. Our ceremony was so lovely, and our guests all had a great time during cocktail hour, the actual dinner, and the dance party. Since we did the all-inclusive package, our catering was the venue's taco truck. Everyone raved about how good all the food was, and all our guests were well-fed & full! All in all, our wedding day truly turned out to be one of the best days ever! The whole vibe was perfect & so very much "us". We're so grateful to AvantGarden, Mariana, and all of her staff for bringing our vision to life & taking such good care of us. If you're still searching for a wedding venue in Houston, please consider AvantGarden. You will be very, very happy you did so & will end up with the most amazing wedding ever!

    Truly the best!

    If I could give 10 stars, I absolutely would! I can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience with AvantGarden and Mariana. From our very first meeting to our grand exit through the sparklers, every detail was handled seamlessly. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but Mariana made the entire process feel effortless. She coordinated everything and connected us with incredible vendors - from florals, desserts, catering, waitstaff, DJ, jazz band, and even a fire dancer. Every recommendation exceeded our expectations, and having someone I trusted manage all the moving pieces was invaluable. People constantly asked if I was stressed leading up to the wedding, and I could honestly say I wasn’t. As someone who is very Type A and detail-oriented, that says everything. Mariana listened to every vision and idea I had, brought it to life, and offered thoughtful suggestions from her years of experience that made everything even better than I imagined. The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking…so unique, romantic, and unlike anything else. It was the perfect backdrop for our wedding. It can be difficult to trust someone with one of the biggest days of your life, but I can wholeheartedly say that choosing AvantGarden and Mariana was one of the best decisions we made. If you’re considering this venue, don’t hesitate. You will be in the best hands

    Best day ever!!!

    If you’re considering having your wedding at AvantGarden, DO IT!!! Easiest decision to make in your wedding planning journey. Everything from start to finish was so simple and easy. Mariana is a mastermind, so experienced and on top of everything. Planning was easy … we did a couple of meetings, a few emails and boom! It was all done! And day of, everything went off without a hitch. If there were any issues or problems, I had no idea. The decor and flowers were straight out of my dreams, everything was delicious. The DJ had the dance floor full the whole time. Our guests commented over and over about how beautiful it all was, how fun. I am so so happy with how everything turned out and cannot recommend AvantGarden enough!

    Down to a Science

    We had a perfect wedding here. Mariana made everything so easy to organize and prepare for. She removed so much stress from what I expected to be a more intense process. She really has it down to a science. All of our friends and family were blown away by it and still keep texting us about how great it was.

    Our perfect wedding at AvantGarden!

    Thank you to Mariana and her team for creating the perfect wedding and reception for us! Everything from the food, drinks, DJ, photographer, decor and beyond were absolutely amazing. We were pretty hands off on our planning and Mariana took care of everything for us. There really was nothing for me to stress about as I knew I was in good hands. It rained for a bit that day, but her team pivoted and made the whole night flow seamlessly regardless. Our guests are still raving about how that was the funnest night of their lives. The taco truck and pizza are incredible and the drinks were so delicious. The venue is beautiful and the indoor outdoor combination is unique and fun. Thank you again for helping us throw the perfect party!

Your reservation includes six hours from start to finish, from the ceremony to the sparkler exit, excluding the time it takes our staff to set up and clean up. Any additional time will be billed at $275 per hour.
Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable. If you cancel your event within 40 days of your booked date, we’ll bill you the full amount of all estimated charges.
The best way is by Uber, by private car or taxi.
even though our venue is fully insured, we request cancellation insurance to protect your investment.
