Avant Garden is located in a 1896 historic house, centrally located in the Montrose/Midtown area. We specialize in beautiful low stress wedding ceremonies and receptions AvantGarden is a one stop all inclusive wedding venue, florist and coordinator. We offer dj services, full bar services, valet parking services and all the amenities to make your special day wonderful and fun!

.AvantGarden has 4 different areas: The upstairs is where people usually mingle and dance to a DJ. Downstairs is where the main bar and lounge area are located. A front patio with a fountain, and a lovely covered back patio where the ceremonies take place. Our 3 fully stocked bars offer a wide selection of wines, homemade sangria, micro-brewed local beers and premium liquors, as well as tea, coffee bar, juice and soft drinks. Catering and cake also included in our packages.

Gorgeous venue and incredible team!
Mariana and her team are a well-oiled machine!! Our reception flowed so smoothly, and our guests are still talking about how beautiful the space was and how delicious the tacos were. Avant Garden took such good care of us. Would 100% book this venue again!
An Unforgettable Wedding
My wife and I could not have asked for a more perfect wedding, and that is largely due the Avant Gardens staff. Mariana (owner) was an absolute delight to work with and truly made our special day a once in a lifetime experience! Professional, knowledgeable, and passionate don’t even begin to describe just how amazing the staff is! Our guests won’t stop talking about how much fun they had and that it was the best time they’ve had at a wedding! Thank you again AvantGarden staff for an unforgettable day!!
My Wedding
Where do I even begin? I had my wedding here and it was absolutely a remarkable experience. Depending on the package you chose, the more or less you can have included. I chose the all inclusive - which included the venue, chairs/tables, decor, flowers, cake, a high bar tab, the taco truck, and pizza. The venue has such a unique, beautiful, vintage charm that made for wonderful pictures and a cute, more intimate wedding, despite it being able to fit a large number of people. Though it was a bit hot, the bridal suite, the third floor of the venue, was private and beautifully decorated in the same antique style. It made for incredible photos of the bride and bridal party. As for food- the taco truck was so delicious. Everyone in my family (all of which have different diets including vegan, vegetiarian, gluten-free, and more) were all able to eat without a problem - it was a huge relief. The oven pizza later in the night was also fantastic, especially paired with the drinks. TFurthermore, the staff were all of top of everything, moving and transforming the space from the ceremony to the reception. Service was incredible. They made sure the areas were always clean and tidy. Lastly, Mariana, the owner is a godsend. Detail oriented and organized, she planned the entire event, so I (thankfully) did not experience the stress and drama of wedding planning. The only thing I had to bring was myself, my wedding party, and a few more pictures for the welcome table. Literally, she planned the whole thing, and I could not be more grateful. She also stayed through the entire event and directed everything, making sure everything went to plan. She is absolutely wonderful and really good at what she does. She truly made my wedding unforgettable. After the wedding, so many of my guests comented on the beauty of the venue and how good the food was. They all said, it was well-chosen, and I agree.
Great all-inclusive experience!
AvantGarden (and Mariana, the owner) did a great job with our wedding, especially considering the extreme weather we experienced! We appreciated that the venue was mostly all-inclusive, especially when planning the event from out of town, and for a very reasonable price! The event space itself has a casual, fun vibe with plenty of room for our guests (175) to explore and excellent food and drinks. Many of our guests made a point to come up to us and tell us how much fun they had and how awesome the venue was, and we were shocked by how many people said the taco truck (venue recommendation) was the best wedding food they had ever had! The staff was great and made some excellent cocktails and I also have to shout out DJ Dillon for bringing such a fun vibe to our karaoke after party (another Mariana recommendation). You do need to put your faith in Mariana and be prepared to "let go", however. If you're looking to be very hands-on and are particular about all the little details, prepare to be frustrated because that's not the way Mariana works. She has her own process and knows what will and will not work based on experience, and she can be tricky to get in touch with until closer to the wedding date. Ultimately, though, she came through and did an excellent job for us. Trust in Mariana! Overall, it was super helpful that AvantGarden took care of most of the wedding planning (including delivering our flowers to our off-site ceremony venue), and the space made for such a fun atmosphere during the reception. I would definitely recommend AvantGarden as a wedding venue, especially for couples who are looking for a less stuffy and more unique atmosphere and who are looking to be more hands-off in the planning process.
