About this venue

Shirley Acres is an all-inclusive wedding venue situated in North Houston, Texas. Deeply rooted in a tradition of hospitality, the team here believes in treating guests like family. The original owners, Ralph and Lou Shirley, resided on the property and hosted many family events and weddings there. The tradition of celebrating weddings here has now been passed down to Bob and Karla Shirley. Authentic Southern charm is apparent throughout this family-run country venue.

      BEST VENUE!!

      we had the absolute best experience with shirley acres for our wedding! from the very beginning, the staff made us feel so supported and cared for. bob shirley, stacie, and kat were all incredibly kind, attentive, and professional! every detail was handled with such care and heart. we truly felt like we were in great hands the entire way through. the venue itself is stunning, and the food… wow. our guests are still talking about how good everything was! major shout out to the chef! every bite was delicious! we’re so thankful we chose shirley acres for such a special day. highly, highly recommend to any couple looking for a beautiful venue with amazing service and people who truly care.

    Shirley Acres is a full service facility. We have some flexibility on outside vendors depending on our guest's specific needs.
    Alcoholic beverages are offered by Shirley Acres. We have an extensive wine and beer list available. We do however allow our couples to bring in hard liquor, where upon Shirley Acres will provide set-ups and mixers.
    Our standard time slot is 4 hours; however additional time may be added for a nominal fee.
    Yes. We have plenty of parking on property and we also offer valet service as needed.
    Yes, by appointment only.
    Your event is important to us. In the event of rain, the staff at Shirley Acres will move the ceremony indoors and accommodate your guests as though it were a planned indoor wedding (at no extra charge).
    Private parties you host at your home or office can be handled with every bit of elegance that you might expect from Shirley Acres. From a beautiful self-service buffet, to a full staff on-site event with tables, chairs, fresh flowers, and center pieces. Ask how we can make your event a success.
