One of the worst experiences imaginable avoid at all costs. If I could give this venue zero stars, I would. The entire experience with their so-called "wedding specialist," Emma Montoya, was a nightmare from start to finish. Her conduct was not only grossly unprofessional, but outright rude and condescending. Before we officially booked the venue, we had a great experience with Caley, the wedding specialist we originally worked with. She was kind, helpful, responsive, and part of the reason we felt confident moving forward with this venue. Unfortunately, shortly after we signed our contract, Caley must have quit, because we were suddenly reassigned to Emma Montoya and from that point on, everything went downhill. From the beginning of our interactions with Emma, communication was a mess. Emails were constantly misdirected to the wrong couple, scheduled meetings were ignored or mishandled, and any questions we had about their in-house DJ services were either brushed off or met with unclear, incomplete responses. Our first scheduled meeting with their DJ never happened he simply didn’t show up. No email, no call, no apology. And we didn’t hear from anyone at the venue about it for the entire week following. It was incredibly unprofessional and disappointing. Unfortunately, the poor communication extended to other vendors included in The Springs’ “all-inclusive” package. The florist, for example, never responded to me not once. I would strongly caution any couples against using the venue’s preferred vendor list. While it may sound convenient, the lack of communication and reliability is not worth the risk. I highly recommend sourcing your own vendors instead. The most frustrating experience, by far, came with our wedding rehearsal. We had confirmed multiple times via email that it was scheduled for September 18th the day before our wedding. Despite this, when we arrived with our full wedding party, Emma coldly told us there was no record of our rehearsal and demanded we leave making no effort to understand the situation or offer a solution. Shortly after, the site coordinator returned with security to escort us off the property, treating us like trespassers instead of the couple getting married there the next day. Even with clear documentation showing that we had confirmed the date, no one took accountability for the venue’s error. Emma was unapologetic and dismissive throughout. On our actual wedding day, Emma continued with the same brash attitude. Our outside wedding planner a seasoned professional had her own issues with Emma, describing her as rude and uncooperative. It’s clear that this is her standard behavior, not a one-off incident. Emma’s bio says she “loves helping couples” and is passionate about weddings, but nothing in her behavior reflects that. She lacks basic communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to manage even the simplest logistical tasks with respect. If you’re planning your wedding, I strongly encourage you to stay far away from The Springs and especially from their all-inclusive package and vendor list. What should have been a joyful and exciting experience turned into one of the most stressful and disappointing chapters of our planning process. You only get one wedding day. Don’t trust it to people who don’t treat it with the care and respect it deserves.

Hi Bethanie, Thank you for sharing this feedback. It was difficult to read, but also important and useful for us. Your experience was far from the standards we set for ourselves, and I’m grateful you took the time to explain it. I’ll reach out to you directly, but wanted to respond here as well. I know nothing can undo what happened—you get one wedding day, and it has passed—but I hope hearing our perspective and sincere apologies offers some comfort. Communication issues: I’ve reviewed all our emails and texts. If questions went unanswered, it was not for lack of effort but likely misunderstanding. The DJ missing your meeting and the florist not responding were both things we should have known about and acted on. We didn’t, and that’s unacceptable. Your feedback has prompted me to improve communication systems so this doesn’t happen again. We truly believed things were going smoothly, and I wish we’d known sooner so we could intervene. Rehearsal mix-up: This remains the biggest mystery. I cannot find records of us confirming a rehearsal during another scheduled wedding, which would never have been possible. If you have documentation, I’d truly appreciate seeing it so I can trace how this miscommunication happened. Regardless, if Ema came across as sharp, I apologize. That day was already high-stress with a wedding in progress, but that doesn’t excuse how you felt treated. Coordinator relationship: I’m also sorry you and Ema weren’t a good fit and that we didn’t recognize it soon enough to step in. She connects well with most people, but no one connects with everyone, and in hindsight we should have shifted you to me. With your short planning window—just over 1.5 months—it was harder to see the mismatch in time. I regret not noticing, and I’m sorry this added to your frustration. Please know we truly cared about you and your wedding, even if our performance didn’t convey it. I am relieved that, despite the challenges, your DJ delivered, your florist did a beautiful job, and your wedding was full of love and wonderful memories. My hope is that, as time goes on, those happy memories overshadow the stress leading up to the day, and that your marriage begins with joy and strength. With heartfelt apologies and best wishes, Brianne Benelli General Manager

If I could give The Springs in Cypress more than five stars, I would. From the moment we first toured the venue, we knew we’d found something truly special. We searched venues across the entire U.S., and this one stood out for its breathtaking beauty, castle-like charm, and the promise of a near all-inclusive experience that fit our budget. It delivered on every front. The venue itself is absolutely stunning—elegant architecture, lush grounds, and a romantic atmosphere that made our wedding feel like a fairytale. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how gorgeous it was. Both sides of our families kept saying it was one of the most beautiful venues they’d ever seen. My husband’s cousin even snuck off with his fiancée to take impromptu engagement photos on the property because it was just that magical (we didn’t blame them at all!). We had a destination wedding in Houston, and some of our family thought we were a little crazy for that choice—until they saw The Springs. All doubts vanished the moment they stepped onto the grounds. It was love at first sight for everyone. The coordinators and sales team were phenomenal. Communication was consistent, clear, and kind throughout the entire planning process. They worked seamlessly with my personal coordinator and with me directly, which made everything feel smooth and manageable. Every question was answered, every concern addressed, and every detail handled with professionalism and care. Now, I’ll be honest—if you’re new to planning a big event like I was, be prepared for add-ons. It felt like everything came with an extra charge, and that was a bit overwhelming at times. I chose to forgo some services I originally wanted (like plated dinner) to stay within budget. But that’s more a reflection of my own learning curve than a fault of the venue. They were transparent about costs, and the value was absolutely there. In the end, I wouldn’t change a thing about our venue choice. The Springs in Cypress gave me the wedding of my dreams. I felt like a princess, surrounded by beauty, love, and the kind of atmosphere you hope for but rarely find. If you’re looking for a venue that’s visually stunning, professionally run, and truly unforgettable—this is it.

Absolutely gorgeous venue and everything was done so beautifully by the staff. We booked the DJ, photobooth & catering through them and everything was absolutely incredible, zero hitches, and much better prices than any outside vendors we found.
