Providing couples with a smooth and stress-free wedding day is always my goal and I take that responsibility seriously. I’m glad to hear you were happy with the reception setup. However, I would like to clarify a few points regarding the concerns mentioned. Regarding the rehearsal, my role is to coordinate the ceremony run-through and guide those who are present through the process. Contacting wedding party members and family individually to confirm their attendance is not included in my coordination responsibilities and is something couples are responsible for communicating. I cannot control whether individual family members attend or take responsibility for locating those who are not present. This was never brought to my attention as an expectation during the planning process, and had it been, I would have been happy to clarify the scope of my services. As for the catering leftovers, packaging and storing remaining food is the responsibility of the catering team. While I am always happy to assist where possible, packing and distributing leftover food is not a service included in my coordination package. As outlined in my contract, I do not handle food items. I did, however, make sure the wedding cake was packed up and sent home with your sister. Regarding vendor communication, my process and timeline for reaching out to vendors were discussed during the planning process. I typically complete final vendor confirmations approximately two weeks before the wedding, which was communicated to you individually. When this concern was brought up, we discussed my process and timeline directly. At the end of the wedding day, you acknowledged that you had been upset, apologized for how you had approached the situation and shared that everything had been perfect. I appreciated that we were able to communicate openly and move forward on a positive note. I was genuinely happy to be part of your wedding day and appreciated your kind words and thanks at the end of the celebration. It is unfortunate to hear that your overall impression has since changed. None of the concerns mentioned in your review were brought to my attention following the wedding, and I would have appreciated the opportunity to address any concerns at the time. I take feedback seriously and will continue looking for ways to improve the experience I provide to my couples. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness!
