3 of Cups is a comprehensive wedding planning service with an inclusive and welcoming ethos. Our team consists of experienced coordinators passionate about working with couples to create weddings that reflect who they are. At 3 of Cups, we can help you with everything from managing your budget to planning your honeymoon. Our A La Carte menu services include design, sound and DJ, photography and cinematography, and location scouting. Founder and owner Jessica Ryan-Garcia set up 3 of Cups in 2014, intending to make a safe, non-discriminatory space within the wedding community. A member of the Associated Wedding Planners of Austin, Jessica has actively participated in improving the ethics and moral standards of the events industry. She and her team have planned over 500 weddings thus far and are prepared to take on occasions of all sizes, at home and abroad. Choosing 3 of Cups for our wedding at the Fairmont Austin was easily the best decision we made in the wedding planning process. As a couple with a diverse background, it was incredibly important to us that our personal identities were honored. From our very first meeting, Jessica and the 3 of Cups team met us exactly where we were. They are the perfect blend of organized and efficient, and their collaborative planning meetings were the most beneficial part of the entire experience. They didn't just help us find vendors that matched our personal style; Jessica acted as a true partner who navigated venue specifics and all the details that caused some nervousness from icy Austin weather to ensuring guests parked at the hotel seamlessly. She has an awesome ability to connect with people on a personal level while maintaining a top-tier level of organization that kept us calm and on track. The entire 3 of Cups team is top notch especially when it comes to navigating the unexpected. A perfect example of this was when last-minute weather challenges meant our bagpiper was unable to make it downtown and perform. Jessica and George (3 of Cups DJ) pivoted instantly, securing classic Scottish music to ensure that part of our heritage was still beautifully represented. On the day of the wedding, Katrina on the team was also fantastic. She handled coordination elements like ensuring all guests had their valet tickets so seamlessly that we didn't have to think about a thing. Hands down the favorite part of the night was the atmosphere on the dance floor. If you are booking their DJ services, George is phenomenal. He took awesome direction and read the room perfectly, expertly looping pop music into Persian pop to accommodate our diverse group of attendees. He kept the energy high and the transition between genres felt completely natural. We are beyond thankful to the 3 of Cups team for making our wedding day at the Fairmont such a memorable experience. We cannot recommend them enough to any couple looking for a team that is professional, personable, and truly experts at what they do.

We worked with 3 of Cups for our wedding back in September and it was such a good experience. The planning material that Jessica provided us was very straight forward and helped us plan our perfect wedding with their expert guidance. They were already familiar with our other vendors which made the inter-vendor coordination easier. I can't speak highly enough about Jessica and Katrina's calming presence the day of the wedding. They did such a good job keeping everything on track and handling stuff behind the scenes. For example, my cousin showed up late (just as we were about to walk down the aisle) and Jessica thankfully stopped him and was able to sneak him around to the end of a row (we were at an outside venue). No one outside of the person he sat next to noticed! When I spoke with him later he was like "well I make it!" and I was confused as to why this was notable until he told me the story haha Overall a great experience which resulted in our dream wedding executed flawlessly. I'd highly recommend them to be your wedding coordinator/planner.

We absolutely loved working with Jessica at 3 of Cups and the enitre team! From the start, she made the entire planning process feel so much less stressful and way more manageable. She has such great energy and is incredibly warm, welcoming, and so easy to be around. She also brought so many good ideas to the table that really helped bring everything together! From our very first meeting, we were sold. Seeing how organized she was and how clearly she had everything laid out immediately put us at ease. Her organization and the way she runs things made the whole process feel simpler and less overwhelming, which was huge for us. One thing we really appreciated was how well she balanced being hands-on without ever feeling overbearing. She gave us plenty of space to do our own thing, while always being there when we needed guidance or support. It felt like the perfect balance and made the experience feel collaborative rather than stressful. Her team was also amazing! Everyone was super on top of things, really communicative, and very responsive throughout the entire process. Beyond all the professional stuff, Jessica is just a genuinely cool human, and we had a lot of fun working with her. We truly can’t imagine the day going as smoothly or beautifully as it did without her and her team. We are so grateful for everything Jessica and 3 of Cups did and would 100% recommend them to anyone planning a wedding! :)

My wedding took place at the Amala Sanctuary (formerly Sanctuary Event Space) in Austin, TX on October 17, 2025. We were very fortunate that the 3 of Cups team is very familiar with this venue and has hosted numerous weddings there. The team knows the ins and outs and has a great relationship with venue management, making communication a breeze. I wanted a magical, enchanting, celestial themed wedding with various crystals as decor and the team delivered exactly what I asked for. It turned out lovely and beautiful! Jessica and Katrina were there to answer my questions by email anytime I needed. 3 of Cups has a very organized and efficient way of doing things and their google doc spreadsheets are thorough and a lifesaver. There are so many fine-tuned details about things you could fail to think of, that’s why 3 of Cups is a must. They delivered task-related timelines to keep me on track, took an inventory of all my decor, and worked with my vendors to create a seamless timeline. Jessica is who I met with for all my planning meetings and each meeting she was friendly, informative, and professional. My favorite part of my wedding day was being given the time to enjoy mingling with my guests and the ceremony itself. I can’t stress enough how valuable the 3 of Cups team is and how smooth they helped the wedding day go. It wouldn’t have been such a wonderful day without them. Jessica, Katrina, and Carly kept all the parts moving, made sure my husband and I ate haha, and kept everything on schedule all with positive attitudes. Katrina bustled my dress for me and Jessica saved the day with a tide pen when we discovered I got a cut on my arm and bled on my dress! The best money that was spent throughout wedding planning was on this incredible coordinating team. I would recommend them to any bride in Austin and especially if you’re booking Amala Sanctuary. In addition to coordinating, I booked a DJ through the 3 of Cups team and had a great experience. Everything was played on cue and it sounded great.
