    A Truly Special Place for Any Celebration

    If you’re looking for a venue with timeless charm and elegance, The Victorian on Heights is truly something special. You can feel the history and character throughout the space. Every room is beautifully designed with so much attention to detail, creating the perfect setting for weddings, celebrations, and memorable events. One of the best parts of the experience is the owner, April. She is incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely cares about the people she works with. She’s so easy to talk to, responsive, and makes the entire planning process feel smooth and enjoyable. It’s clear how much love and passion she’s poured into this beautiful venue. I highly recommend The Victorian on Heights to anyone looking for a unique, elegant venue with historic charm and exceptional hospitality.

    Great Venue!

    April Dardis is exactly the kind of business owner you want behind a wedding or event venue. I have had the opportunity to know April through her work with Creative Style Furniture, and she has always impressed me as professional, creative, detail-oriented, and deeply committed to doing things the right way. Her background in custom furniture, design, craftsmanship, and client service makes this new venue at 1011 Heights Blvd a natural extension of what she already does so well. A historic Victorian home in the heart of Houston Heights is already a special setting, but April’s eye for detail and her ability to create beautiful, memorable spaces make it even more unique. For anyone looking for a Houston Heights wedding venue, intimate event venue, bridal shower location, private party space, or a beautiful historic setting in Houston, I would absolutely recommend taking a look at what April is creating here. She has the character, experience, and creative vision to make this a truly special place for Houston events.

    Distinguished Gentleman

    My time in this venue has been absolutely outstanding. I felt transported to a different time & era, as if I was party to a period piece. This was one of the most romantic evenings in my life. I could not be happier with the outcome. The garden is an oasis in the city. The Victorian decor suggests an individual from a different time & place. I would dressy that this experience was absolutely priceless. I will come up here again, and make it an anniversary destination as well.

Our off-peak season is typically January, February, June, July, and August. These months often provide greater flexibility in available dates and can be an excellent opportunity for couples looking for a more relaxed planning experience. The Victorian on Heights is beautiful year-round, with elegant indoor spaces and charming outdoor settings that make every celebration feel special. We also host bridal showers, engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, baby showers, anniversary celebrations, birthday parties, holiday gatherings, corporate events, nonprofit galas, and other private events throughout the year.
Our peak wedding season is March through May and September through December, when Houston offers beautiful weather for both indoor and outdoor celebrations. During these months, couples enjoy exchanging vows in our picturesque courtyard before celebrating with family and friends in our elegant Grand Ballroom. Peak season dates tend to book well in advance, so we encourage couples to reach out early to secure their preferred wedding date. We recommend scheduling a private tour to experience the timeless charm and beauty of The Victorian on Heights in person.
Yes! We welcome clients to provide their own alcohol, giving you the flexibility to personalize your bar selections while helping manage your budget. All alcohol must be served by a licensed, insured, and TABC-certified bartending service in accordance with Texas law and our venue policies. A venue alcohol service fee may apply. If you don’t already have a bartender, we’re happy to recommend one of our trusted preferred vendors to ensure a seamless, professional, and enjoyable experience for you and your guests.
Yes! We offer convenient complimentary valet parking to provide a seamless arrival and departure experience for you and your guests. In addition to our on-site accommodations, we have nearby reserved parking available to ensure ample parking for your event. Yes. To ensure every wedding runs smoothly, we require all couples to have either a professional wedding planner or a day-of coordinator. Your planner or coordinator must attend your 30-day final walkthrough and be present for the entire wedding day to oversee the timeline, coordinate vendors, and serve as the primary point of contact. Coordinators must carry their own liability insurance and may not be a member of the wedding party, a family member, or a guest attending the wedding. If you don’t already have a planner or coordinator, we’re happy to recommend one of our trusted preferred professionals.
Yes! The Victorian on Heights offers on-site overnight accommodations to make your wedding weekend even more memorable. Our beautifully appointed Honeymoon Suite provides a private retreat for the newlyweds, and we also offer three additional guest rooms for members of your wedding party or immediate family. Whether you’re getting ready, spending the night before the wedding, or relaxing after the celebration, our overnight accommodations provide added comfort and convenience. Overnight accommodations are available for an additional fee and are subject to availability.
The Victorian on Heights offers a total of nine restrooms across our two beautiful properties, including two ADA-accessible restrooms. Thoughtfully located throughout the venue, our restrooms provide convenient access for you and your guests during both the ceremony and reception, helping ensure everyone remains comfortable while enjoying your celebration from start to finish.
