The Reserve on Cypress Creek is a scenic wedding venue located just 30 minutes from downtown Houston. Set on 12 beautiful acres and bordered by a preserve, the property offers a peaceful, nature-filled setting while remaining easily accessible. Ceremonies take place on a stone-raised platform surrounded by three picturesque ponds, featuring a chandelier and wooden arbor, with seating for up to 120 guests. Couples have access to separate get-ready spaces, including a cozy, light-filled bridal room and a more rustic, masculine Groom’s room. Through Summer 2026, receptions are hosted in a decorated, climate-controlled tent that feels open and airy while protecting guests from the elements. As you walk into the Little Chapel in-the-Woods you are entering into a tradition. Located on the edge of Texas Woman’s University, the chapel is a secluded sanctuary that has held weddings since September 1939, a few months before its dedication by Eleanor Roosevelt. Lost Horizon Cider Mill is a working cidery in a grove of century-old elms and mesquites in Dale, TX. We make our own cider, non-alcoholic rum and vanilla bean seltzer, and pour them at your wedding. Ceremonies happen in our 1960s mid-century modern greenhouse, moved here from Hyde Park, or in the Meadow under string lights, where the fireflies are free of charge. After the vows, guests can head to the Lost & Found Lounge, our hand-built art-deco bar, or up to the stargazing deck above it. The grove has Biergarten tables, sun sails and misters for summer, and a firepit for cooler months. A lot of what other venues outsource, we do ourselves: our floral designer spent nearly a decade at Ben White Florist, and our in-house band, Midnight Mixtape, plays everything from 80s new wave to classic R&B to 60s jazz.
