Towering Oaks is a unique North Texas wedding venue where couples enjoy unforgettable weekend-long celebrations with up to 25 loved ones staying overnight, and up to 150 guests for the Ceremony and Reception. Nestled among oak trees, the property features charming on-site lodging, a stunning ceremony site, a spacious reception hall, and thoughtful touches like outdoor movie nights, hearty breakfasts, and relaxed rehearsal dinners. Couples love the private, all-in-one experience that feels like a destination wedding, without the travel. Fun fact: many of our ceremony trees are wired for electricity, perfect for string lights and custom décor!

Unbelievable Experience
Towering Oaks Event and Retreat Center was absolutely amazing to work with for our wedding. Their communication was efficient, timely, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process. The venue itself was beautiful, with an all-inclusive and simple package that made our day so enjoyable and easy. They even provided a complimentary Day-Of Coordinator to ensure everything ran smoothly, and hosted our Rehearsal Dinner as well. I have already recommended Towering Oaks to all of my friends looking for the perfect wedding venue - it's literally so amazing!
Towering Oaks is a DREAM.
As a wedding photographer in the DFW area, I’ve had the honor of documenting weddings all over Texas — and this venue remains one of my absolute favorites to shoot at. The Oak trees, the lush ceremony spaces, the ambient twinkle lights, the cozy reception vibes… every single corner of this property photographs beautifully. The staff is incredible to work with and everything is thoughtfully organized for a seamless wedding day. The natural scenery gives so much depth and romance to portraits — golden hour here is STUNNING. If you are looking for a venue that feels timeless, elegant, romantic, and FULL of photo opportunities, Towering Oaks is truly a gem.
