STUNNING! I can't believe this is just 20-30 minutes from downtown Fort Worth! We wanted an all-inclusive venue and Stoney Ridge gave our guests several areas to hang out and take in the beauty. It was incredibly clean and obviously cared for: from the chairs to the tables to the bridal suite. Missy is also fantastic and helped out every step of the way!

Ashton Gardens West Houston
Rating: 5.0 (23 reviews)
Houston, TX
  • Up to 300 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor

West of the city, just outside Katy, Ashton Gardens West Houston is a glass chapel wedding venue that leans into restraint. Its serene, light-filled chapel is framed by oversized windows that pull the surrounding greenery indoors, setting a calm tone before a single guest is seated. From there, the space opens dramatically: a grand ballroom of sprawling crystal chandeliers, glass walls, and soaring ceilings, elegant enough that it asks very little of additional decor. A staircase entrance adds a beat of theater on the way into the reception, while manicured grounds and the venue's signature doors give photographers no shortage of polished backdrops. Meanwhile, spacious getting ready suites keep the morning unhurried. This is a glass chapel wedding venue for couples drawn to grandeur that doesn't shout, comfortably hosting up to 300 guests without ever feeling crowded or overdone.

  • Pets can join the celebration

My experience with this venue was absolutely amazing. My fiancé and I were not high maintenance or detail oriented for our wedding. We wanted the a simple nice wedding that we did not have to put a lot of work in and this place was perfect! High quality venue and vendors!! The venue itself was so beautiful, you barely have to decorate it. The vendors are all with the venue, and our amazing planner Sheilah W was awesome! She gets everything prepared and deals with contacting all the vendors and putting everyone on the same page. I was so shocked the packages even included stationeries (save the dates & invites) ! Vendors included flowers, photographer, catering, DJ, day of coordinator, cake/desserts, all inclusive bar. I am so glad we chose to have our wedding here! When I tell people I barely did anything to plan this wedding.. I mean it. In a good way because it was such a stress free planing process for us! It was such a great day. Simple and beautiful

Ashton Gardens North Houston
Rating: 4.5 (22 reviews)
Houston, TX
  • Up to 200 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor

Just south of Spring, where the pines thicken and the city noise finally falls away, Ashton Gardens North Houston makes its case as a glass chapel wedding venue built entirely around light. The open-beam stone chapel is walled in windows, so the surrounding forest becomes part of the ceremony rather than a backdrop glimpsed from inside. Chandeliers carry that glow into the reception, where a winding staircase gives every entrance a little theater. Outside, garden-lined paths wander past a quiet stream and a vine-draped courtyard, offering more photo backdrops than a single afternoon can use. Generously proportioned getting ready suites mean the morning-of unfolds without anyone feeling rushed or cramped. It's a glass chapel wedding venue built for couples who want serenity and scale in equal measure, with room for up to 200 guests to settle in and stay a while.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Provides lighting and sound
  • Allows pets
  • Classic seating dinner

My husband and I used AGNH as our ceremony and reception venue and it was perfect. The staff were all so kind and accommodating to our requests, and Sydney (our venue-assigned planner) was a breath of fresh air whenever I was feeling overwhelmed. The food was also SO delicious, including the cake, which we had made in-house. Our wedding vision became a reality at Ashton Gardens North Houston!

We cannot express how thankful we are to the incredible team at Chapel at Palacios for making our wedding day absolutely perfect! From start to finish, they went above and beyond to ensure every detail was exactly how we imagined—and more. One of the biggest stress-relievers for us was the all-inclusive options offered at the Chapel at Palacios. They made planning so much easier by taking care of everything we needed, which allowed us to relax and enjoy the process. The level of care, effort, and attention to detail was extraordinary, and it made a world of difference in creating a seamless, stress-free experience for us. Our coordinators, Lainey and Payton, were absolute gems. Their professionalism, organization, and calm demeanor kept everything running smoothly, ensuring that the day flowed perfectly. They were always there to offer guidance, answer questions, and take care of anything that came up, so we could just focus on enjoying the moment. We felt completely supported throughout the entire process! We also want to give a huge shout-out to the rest of the team who made our day so special: Tyler, our amazing DJ, who kept the energy high and the dance floor packed all night; Lexie, our fantastic photographer, who captured every magical moment beautifully; and Hector, our additional helper, who was always ready with a smile and willing to lend a hand wherever needed. We couldn't have asked for a better group of people to help bring our dream wedding to life. Every detail was taken care of with such care and precision, and we truly felt that this was a day made just for us. Thank you, Chapel at Palacios, Lainey, Payton, and the entire team for creating memories we will cherish forever!

I was fortuante enough to actually work AT the chapel for several years, facilitating weddings and other events in this timeless, historical building. My very intimate wedding could not have been more picture-perfect.

We had our wedding at AvantGarden in October of 2025. After touring quite a few options in Houston, we knew that Mariana and her team were the ones we wanted to help us plan our big day. Mariana was very communicative throughout the entire process and has weddings down to an art. She has an endless list of local connections and trust us when we say to listen to her on the food and cake because people have not stopped raving about both months later. We had use of the entire venue from top to bottom and while we designed our own centerpieces, the team set everything up exactly as we had envisioned, incorporating the perfect floral shades and designs to give our wedding a classy gothic feel rather than turning it into a Halloween party that happens to have a wedding. We opted for mocktails and non-alcoholic drinks and they were a big hit with us and our guests. The food truck on site was amazing as was the cake Mariana helped us order. The entire night went so smoothly and we didn’t have to worry about a single item and got to really enjoy our wedding and time with our guests. There aren’t enough words to express just how wonderful everything was and we cannot imagine how our day might have gone had we chosen any other venue. Truly a perfect experience.

I immediately knew I wanted The Springs in Wallisville, TX as my wedding venue from the moment that I saw it. Aesthetically it was the perfect venue for me, but before booking the venue, I needed to make sure the staff would meet my expectations. They not only met my expectations, they exceeded them. For over a year, they responded quickly and professionally to all my text messages and emails, and accommodated last minute requests to stop by the venue. It was a requirement to use Corn & Rye as the bartending service and to use The Springs catering. I was VERY nervous about this as I have had bad experiences with required vendors in the past. My worries were unfounded as both the bar and catering services were excellent. The drinks and food were both delicious, on time and served by friendly staff. I used their photobooth offered through The Springs DJ. The attendant was friendly, funny and able to get the guest to let loose for some of the best photos of the evening. I also booked my photographer through The Springs. The only complaint that I have is in relation to the photographer. When booking with the photographer, you do not know who your day of photographers will be until the day of. I did my engagement shoot with one lady - who I absolutely loved. For the wedding day we had two different photographers and I didn't feel that we "clicked" with them as well as the one who did our engagement shoot. That said the pictures are absolutely amazing and I would 100% book them again.

So Red Ridge is a 10/10! Bethany and Chris are seasoned pros. Their preparation and organization paid off for the wedding. They kept the bride and groom on schedule, ensured their choices were followed for every option, and Cari got ensured their vision came to life. This is truly an all inclusive venue with so many beautiful additions. They mentioned the sunset would be beautiful and the views on the hill would be stunning. Every view was gorgeous both inside and out, and honestly they undersold the looks. The pictures are amazing. Bethany oversaw everything to ensure a magical evening. The staff working on the night of the wedding were so prepared. The food was fantastic and plentiful. The bar under the covered patio created such a fun environment. They encouraged the bride and groom to create specialty cocktails which added a fun flair. One special touch was to respond very late at night to find the missing wedding certificate which was extremely appreciated! We would trust them again and highly recommend them to anybody.

My daughter and son in law just had their wedding at The Homestead in January. It was perfect. My mom heart was so happy. Alexis and her whole Homestead crew were amazing. They were so attentive, knowledgeable and courteous. The venue was stunning and the food was the best I have ever had at a wedding. So good! They made my job easy as mother of the bride. I was able to relax and enjoy the whole wedding day. Seeing the bride and groom so happy, in love, and enjoying their wedding they had planned was all any mother could ask for. The bridal suite was beautiful and spacious for getting ready even with 10 bridesmaids. The groom’s suite was perfect for the guys to hangout before hand. If you are considering The Homestead, I definitely recommend them. Top notch and very skilled in creating a perfect wedding event. Thank you Alexis and the whole Homestead staff.

Hilltop hideaway was a beautiful location for our wedding. The home was perfect to bring both families close and to stay and enjoy. The grounds offered several areas to choose from to have the ceremony. We got married in April which could mean rain. The venue had an option for an indoor barn style set up if we needed. Which has a kitchen set up to help serve. Overall we enjoyed the location. Communication with the owners as well as the grounds keeper was top notch.

The Warwick Melrose - Dallas is an exceptional wedding venue that I highly recommend. From the knowledgeable, responsive, and professional staff, to the high-end, luxurious, and customizable offerings, they truly deliver an exceptional experience. The front desk, valets, and banquet staff are attentive to every detail, even helping to steam linens, which is often overlooked. They served a plated meal to a large guest count with precision and efficiency, and kept bar traffic to a minimum. They even built an extra bar facade upon request - just exceptional service and attention to detail. As a wedding planner, I adore their catering and sales managers because they are such excellent communicators and know the space inside and out.

Melanie & Miranda were an awesome team! They answered all our questions & gave suggestions to help us fulfill our dream vision. They were so patient & kind when my daughter had trouble making up her mind. They kept at it until she was satisfied. They really worked hard to help us stay in budget while getting the look we were going for. The buffet food was delicious and moist! Not easy for a buffet! The cake from Jenny Lane exceeded our hopes & expectations. We sent a photo and Nabil did an even better job! The flowers were great & the moon gate was beautiful! It was bigger & grander than we expected. The champagne tree was a big hit with everyone! It was such a pretty sight to see as entering the outdoor ceremony space! We got so many compliments about how pretty the venue was, the cake, the food, & the moon gate. My daughter said it was a perfect day! Thank you! I couldn’t ask for more than that!

Absolutely beautiful venue for plant people and those looking for a classic vintage look. Me and my husband got married here Fall 2025 and were very impressed with the whole property. It has a 200 year old Oak Tree that is lit up and has a chandelier that you get married under. This venue has it all, two separate houses to get ready in on the day of, the option to do an indoor or outdoor reception, and they cater the food too! The property manager Haydee was so helpful and quick with communication and you can tell this isn’t their first rodeo. They treat you like family and make sure everything goes to plan. The day of the wedding was beautiful, they keep the place clean and the plants always look fresh. They also treat the property before the wedding too so no mosquitos, which is a great thing outdoors in Texas. We received so many great compliments on the venue after the wedding but the best compliment was the FOOD! We did plated fajitas for dinner and when we were dancing I noticed everyone’s plates were clean haha even the pickiest of eaters had something great to say about the food. 12/10 this venue is worth checking out if you are a Houston area couple, great vibes, great food and even better people! :) WE LOVED IT!

Your Something Old & New! Olde Dobbin Station will provide a unique experience for its clients through the use of old structures built in the early 1900’s, restored to their original look and feel, while adding a vintage touch. The buildings were initially used by oil companies as a “pumping station” and later became a famous place of fellowship for those in the community due to its Artesian Water Well. It became the community “swimming hole” according to many of the locals and remains a historical marker for the community and its residents. Olde Dobbin has recently renovated its final structure and officially has made it into a chapel. The “chapel” was initially used in the late 1800’s as a pump house for the nearby trains' steam.

Their responses were swift and their professionalism put us at ease throughout the entire planning process. On our wedding day, they made us feel like they were celebrating with a dear friend rather than just hosting an event. The venue itself is stunning with its timeless charm and whimsical character that made everything feel special and unique to us. Every detail was handled with care, and we felt genuinely taken care of from start to finish. We can't recommend Olde Dobbin Station enough to couples looking for a venue that combines beautiful space with genuine hospitality.

We knew from the second we set foot at The White Sparrow over a year ago that it was without a doubt, our dream venue. This venue stood out amongst others due to having multiple options for ceremony, reception, & cocktail hour locations, beautiful bridal & groom's suites, private location, well landscaped grounds, buildings that were taken care of, and a one-stop shop style for all things vendor related. Prior to our special day, we had the amazing opportunity of ironing out the small details with our TSE coordinator, Sky. Sky went above and beyond to carefully think through our timeline, ask questions we hadn't thought of, adhere to the wishes for our wedding day, but most importantly, she sought to build a rapport with us. Between Sky's ability to make a connection with us and her organizational skills, I truly went into our wedding day with zero worries. Sky, TSE catering, linens, Corn & Rye Bartenders, our DJ Rob, photographers Jessie & Dylan Schultz, along with our outside coordination team Petals & Pearls Unique Designs worked together seamlessly to make our day run smoothly. Even when we had to pivot, Sky handled it well and made decisions with our wishes at the forefront. Our guests gushed over how spectacular the venue was, impeccable staff, quality selection of beer, wine, & liquor, and that the food was "the best wedding food" they've ever had! It brings us great pride & joy that our guests recognized & verbalized these kind words. Overall, The White Sparrow is the perfect venue if you are looking for the dreamiest location and staff that helps to make your vision come alive. I cannot recommend TSE (especially our girl Sky!!!) enough. Our day was beyond perfect and turned out better than I could have imagined. I will forever stand by the fact there is no better venue than The White Sparrow!

About wedding venues in Texas

Why Is Texas an Exceptional Wedding Destination?

Texas offers an incredible variety of wedding settings across its diverse landscapes. You'll find everything from romantic Hill Country vineyards to stunning Gulf Coast waterfronts that provide perfect backdrops for your special day. The state is home to countless venues that showcase authentic Texas character while still matching your personal style. Think rustic barns where longhorn cattle graze nearby or sophisticated urban venues with dramatic city skyline views that'll impress your guests. Many Texas venues incorporate unique regional touches you won't find elsewhere; live country music that gets everyone dancing, mouthwatering BBQ stations and custom boot favors that celebrate local heritage. Whether you're planning an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, you'll find Texas venues ready to accommodate your vision.

What's the Average Cost of Wedding Venues in Texas?

Wedding venues in Texas typically cost between $3,000 and $30,000+ depending on what you're looking for. The national average runs about $6,500-$12,000 which represents roughly 25% of your total wedding budget. Your overall wedding costs will depend largely on how many people you're inviting to share your special day:

Guest CountAverage Total Wedding Budget
50 guests$19,410
100 guests$32,365
150 guests$44,545
200 guests$55,433
250 guests$66,322
300 guests$77,211
In Texas specifically, venues typically account for about 16% of your total wedding budget with couples spending an average of $6,932. This gives you plenty of room in your budget to customize other elements of your celebration that matter most to you and your partner.

Which Wedding Venue Types Are Most Popular in Texas?

Texas venues offer distinctly regional experiences that capture the state's diverse character. Hill Country locations around Fredericksburg give you gorgeous vineyard settings with beautiful limestone architecture and sunset views that will take your breath away. If you're considering Houston, you'll find venues that thoughtfully incorporate bayou landscapes alongside sophisticated cosmopolitan amenities. Dallas spaces tend to showcase luxury urban environments with elegant design elements that create a refined atmosphere. Fort Worth venues perfectly blend Western heritage with modern conveniences for a uniquely Texan experience. November emerges as the most popular month for venue inquiries across the state, so you might want to plan accordingly if you're interested in this popular time frame.

How Far in Advance Should You Book Your Texas Venue?

Texas couples typically book their wedding venues about 16 months (or 457 days) before their wedding date. November stands out as the most popular month for venue inquiries so planning early is essential if you're considering this timeframe. This advanced booking timeline helps you secure your preferred date since popular venues often fill their calendars far in advance especially for prime weekend dates. Booking early also allows you to lock in current pricing before annual increases that many venues implement. Plus you'll have more time to work with venue coordinators to customize floor plans and discuss details that will make your celebration uniquely yours.

Where Can You Find Accessible Wedding Venues in Texas?

Madera Estates in Conroe stands out for its commitment to accessibility with fully paved event spaces that accommodate wheelchair navigation throughout the property. You can host up to 330 guests here and the venue is frequently praised for physically walking through accessibility needs during the planning process. You'll also find excellent accessible options at Jennings Trace near Houston which offers single-level celebration spaces. Hummingbird Hill Weddings in Chappell Hill prioritizes inclusive design throughout their venue and The Preserve at Canyon Lake features wheelchair-friendly pathways connecting all major celebration areas. These venues ensure all your guests can fully participate in your special day regardless of mobility considerations.

Which Texas Wedding Venues Offer Outstanding Culinary Experiences?

The Bell Tower on 34th in Houston delivers exceptional dining experiences under Executive Chef Sergio Arellano. His international culinary team creates gourmet meals on-site that will impress even your most food-savvy guests. Food-focused couples should also consider Steiner Ranch Steakhouse in Austin where you'll enjoy spectacular views alongside premium cuts of Texas beef. Cisco's Salsa Company near Tomball has built a reputation for their award-winning Mexican cuisine that adds authentic flavors to your celebration. Avenida Brazil Churrascaria Steakhouse in the Houston area offers a unique Brazilian steakhouse experience with tableside carving and a festival atmosphere your guests will remember long after the wedding day.

How Can Texas Venues Support Remote Wedding Participation?

For couples wanting to include loved ones who can't attend in person, several Texas venues now offer more than just basic streaming services. Venues like Agave Estates Mara Villa and The Middleton Venue in Katy specialize in creating interactive remote experiences that make distant guests feel truly present. You can work with these venues to design custom interactive elements that go beyond passive viewing. Think virtual guest books where remote attendees can leave video messages remote toasts synchronized with in-person celebrations and even coordinated dance moments. These thoughtful touches ensure everyone feels included in your celebration regardless of where they're located.

What Wedding Expenses Should You Budget for in Texas?

Beyond your venue there are several other key expenses to consider when planning a Texas wedding. For a typical 150-guest celebration your budget will likely break down this way: - Florists: $6,755 (15%) - Venue: $6,932 (16%) - Catering: $5,546 (12%) - Bar services: $4,437 (10%) - Photographers: $3,966 (9%) - Videographers: $3,555 (8%) - Planners: $3,768 (8%) - Bands & DJs: $1,299 (3%) - Cakes & desserts: $853 (2%) - Hair & makeup: $495 (1%)
