Camp Hosea
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
Anderson, TX
  • Up to 300 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Outdoor & indoor

Anderson, Texas doesn't advertise itself much, which is part of why Camp Hosea works so well as a chapel wedding venue: it feels genuinely removed from the hustle of nearby cities, a quiet countryside escape studded with oak trees. The ceremony centers on a bell-tower chapel framed by wrought-iron doors imported from Spain and rows of classic wooden pews, the kind of setting that asks for very little embellishment. Cocktail hour spills out into a courtyard before guests move into a glass-walled reception hall, where vaulted ceilings and oversized wrought-iron chandeliers create a romantic mood as the sun sets. Luxurious getting-ready suites mean the morning-of feels unhurried rather than logistical. For couples hunting for a genuine chapel wedding venue away from city noise, Camp Hosea offers a rare kind of quiet, with room for up to 300 guests to settle into a celebration that feels far from everywhere else.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Accommodates more than 200 guests

My husband and I got married here on 2/13/26, and it was truly the best day ever! I cannot thank Macey and Hannah with the Walters Wedding Estates team enough for all of their help with our event. They took such great care of us, and we are so grateful we were able to work with them on our wedding day! This venue is truly perfection! Every space was designed with intention, and our family and friends could not stop talking about how stunning it was! We could not recommend this venue more!

Ashton Gardens West Houston
Rating: 5.0 (23 reviews)
Houston, TX
  • Up to 300 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor

West of the city, just outside Katy, Ashton Gardens West Houston is a glass chapel wedding venue that leans into restraint. Its serene, light-filled chapel is framed by oversized windows that pull the surrounding greenery indoors, setting a calm tone before a single guest is seated. From there, the space opens dramatically: a grand ballroom of sprawling crystal chandeliers, glass walls, and soaring ceilings, elegant enough that it asks very little of additional decor. A staircase entrance adds a beat of theater on the way into the reception, while manicured grounds and the venue's signature doors give photographers no shortage of polished backdrops. Meanwhile, spacious getting ready suites keep the morning unhurried. This is a glass chapel wedding venue for couples drawn to grandeur that doesn't shout, comfortably hosting up to 300 guests without ever feeling crowded or overdone.

My experience with this venue was absolutely amazing. My fiancé and I were not high maintenance or detail oriented for our wedding. We wanted the a simple nice wedding that we did not have to put a lot of work in and this place was perfect! High quality venue and vendors!! The venue itself was so beautiful, you barely have to decorate it. The vendors are all with the venue, and our amazing planner Sheilah W was awesome! She gets everything prepared and deals with contacting all the vendors and putting everyone on the same page. I was so shocked the packages even included stationeries (save the dates & invites) ! Vendors included flowers, photographer, catering, DJ, day of coordinator, cake/desserts, all inclusive bar. I am so glad we chose to have our wedding here! When I tell people I barely did anything to plan this wedding.. I mean it. In a good way because it was such a stress free planing process for us! It was such a great day. Simple and beautiful

Ashton Gardens North Houston
Rating: 4.5 (22 reviews)
Houston, TX
  • Up to 200 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor

Just south of Spring, where the pines thicken and the city noise finally falls away, Ashton Gardens North Houston makes its case as a glass chapel wedding venue built entirely around light. The open-beam stone chapel is walled in windows, so the surrounding forest becomes part of the ceremony rather than a backdrop glimpsed from inside. Chandeliers carry that glow into the reception, where a winding staircase gives every entrance a little theater. Outside, garden-lined paths wander past a quiet stream and a vine-draped courtyard, offering more photo backdrops than a single afternoon can use. Generously proportioned getting ready suites mean the morning-of unfolds without anyone feeling rushed or cramped. It's a glass chapel wedding venue built for couples who want serenity and scale in equal measure, with room for up to 200 guests to settle in and stay a while.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Provides lighting and sound
  • Allows pets
  • Classic seating dinner

My husband and I used AGNH as our ceremony and reception venue and it was perfect. The staff were all so kind and accommodating to our requests, and Sydney (our venue-assigned planner) was a breath of fresh air whenever I was feeling overwhelmed. The food was also SO delicious, including the cake, which we had made in-house. Our wedding vision became a reality at Ashton Gardens North Houston!

This venue has everything I was dreaming of for my wedding. The chapel and reception spaces are so beautiful and well maintained, plus the bridal suite is huge! My fiancé and I recently attended one of the showcases and got to try free food/drink samples and speak with their partner vendors in person, which was helpful and reassuring considering we didn’t live in the state throughout most of our planning time period- we will be using their partners for DJ, catering, and stationary.

As a lesbian couple looking to get married in Houston, we had several other queer couples recommend Avant Garden. We loved the idea because we both have history at the venue, growing up going to shows there and performing there in our 20s. Mariana really knows what she's doing and takes care of her couples. We had an aesthetic vision that was a little non traditional and a very non traditional ceremony, but that was no obstacle for Mariana and the team at Avant Garden. Our wedding went off without a hitch and was the most beautiful day of our lives! We catered with the taco truck which everyone loved, & Mariana found an incredible group of all women mariachi singers to serenade our guests during cocktail hour. I've never seen the venue more beautiful and it was surreal making such unforgettable new memories there. Mariana was always so respectful and welcoming of our ideas. Even the DJ the venue used was incredible and all of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. For the most Montrose wedding ever, we cannot recommend Avant Garden enough. Couples are so taken care of and the venue covers so much more than other venues do, like flowers, dj, food, bar, dessert, decor, and there's room for couples to easily book other vendors like we did for our photo booth. And all of it one of the most affordable options we found in Houston! Thank you Mariana and Avant Garden for the best day of our lives!

Our entire wedding weekend felt like stepping straight into our own fairytale... except better, because the people behind it made us feel like family. Let me start with Beatriz. She answered every question, calmed every worry, and fixed every hiccup before I could even finish saying, “Uh oh…” Her family is just as incredible—warm, helpful, and genuinely invested in making everything perfect. We stayed at the venue Friday through Sunday, and it was one of the best decisions we made. Having our family fly into town and actually stay with us made the whole weekend feel like a giant celebration instead of a stressful 24-hour sprint. It felt intimate, special, and so much easier for everyone. The venue itself? Absolutely magical. Spacious, clean, thoughtful details everywhere you look. Every corner looks like it was designed to photograph beautifully. We chose the all-inclusive package, and I cannot stress this enough: it saved my sanity. Tables, chairs, linens, centerpieces, cake, DJ, photographer, day-of coordinator—everything was handled. Every vendor showed up ready, professional, and prepared. I actually got to enjoy being a bride instead of acting like the manager of a small event-planning empire. And then… the fireworks. I will never forget that moment. It felt like the whole world paused just for us. Our guests are still talking about it. Adriana Estates gave us beauty, peace of mind, and the kind of memories you replay for the rest of your life. If you’re looking for a venue where the team genuinely cares, where the details shine, and where you can actually breathe and enjoy your wedding day, this is the place!

We went on a wedding tour of the Olana given by Calla and it was an incredible experience. She was very patient and polite and took the time get to know us before giving a grand fabulous tour of this enormous one of a kind property. She also provided very interesting history of the Olana. Every wedding questions we had Calla had a detailed answer to. The videos and photos on social media of this location do not do this place justice. It is a must visit!

Hilltop hideaway was a beautiful location for our wedding. The home was perfect to bring both families close and to stay and enjoy. The grounds offered several areas to choose from to have the ceremony. We got married in April which could mean rain. The venue had an option for an indoor barn style set up if we needed. Which has a kitchen set up to help serve. Overall we enjoyed the location. Communication with the owners as well as the grounds keeper was top notch.

The Warwick Melrose - Dallas is an exceptional wedding venue that I highly recommend. From the knowledgeable, responsive, and professional staff, to the high-end, luxurious, and customizable offerings, they truly deliver an exceptional experience. The front desk, valets, and banquet staff are attentive to every detail, even helping to steam linens, which is often overlooked. They served a plated meal to a large guest count with precision and efficiency, and kept bar traffic to a minimum. They even built an extra bar facade upon request - just exceptional service and attention to detail. If I could give The Springs in Cypress more than five stars, I would. From the moment we first toured the venue, we knew we’d found something truly special. We searched venues across the entire U.S., and this one stood out for its breathtaking beauty, castle-like charm, and the promise of a near all-inclusive experience that fit our budget. It delivered on every front. The venue itself is absolutely stunning—elegant architecture, lush grounds, and a romantic atmosphere that made our wedding feel like a fairytale. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how gorgeous it was. Both sides of our families kept saying it was one of the most beautiful venues they’d ever seen. My husband’s cousin even snuck off with his fiancée to take impromptu engagement photos on the property because it was just that magical (we didn’t blame them at all!). We had a destination wedding in Houston, and some of our family thought we were a little crazy for that choice—until they saw The Springs. All doubts vanished the moment they stepped onto the grounds. It was love at first sight for everyone. The coordinators and sales team were phenomenal. Communication was consistent, clear, and kind throughout the entire planning process. They worked seamlessly with my personal coordinator and with me directly, which made everything feel smooth and manageable. Every question was answered, every concern addressed, and every detail handled with professionalism and care. Now, I’ll be honest—if you’re new to planning a big event like I was, be prepared for add-ons. It felt like everything came with an extra charge, and that was a bit overwhelming at times. I chose to forgo some services I originally wanted (like plated dinner) to stay within budget. But that’s more a reflection of my own learning curve than a fault of the venue. They were transparent about costs, and the value was absolutely there. In the end, I wouldn’t change a thing about our venue choice. The Springs in Cypress gave me the wedding of my dreams. I felt like a princess, surrounded by beauty, love, and the kind of atmosphere you hope for but rarely find. If you’re looking for a venue that’s visually stunning, professionally run, and truly unforgettable—this is it.

The venue itself is absolutely stunning and has such an enchanting, fairytale-like charm across the entire property. I also love how the venue is owned and managed by one family. You can easily see how much love and work they put into it all, to make sure these couples have the best wedding possible, and I really appreciate that. The value of the package we chose, definitely met our standards. We had access to the grounds for the entire day of the wedding (9AM-11PM), which was really advantageous, and there was even complimentary valet. The bride and groom both had their own separate quarters, which were very old houses with such ancestral and historic character that I really adored. The food was delicious and better than expected, since most weddings I've been to had very bland and disappointing dishes. The Chef on-site was very kind and helpful during the tasting process. Jose, the property manager, was very generous with his time and was very understanding and communicative with visits, tastings, and vendor schedules. There were a couple of times that there was confusion with contacts and miscommunications over phone calls/texts, but it was quickly figured out. As for the day of the wedding, the weather was highly unpredictable. It started off sunny and then it stormed for a few hours and then it cleared up just in time for the ceremony to still be held outdoors, and then it rained again for hours- shortly after the ceremony. However, Jose reassured me that they were all fully prepared to rearrange for everything to be indoors, if need be. The only qualms I really had with the night was when the food was being served, it got disorganized and confusing, since we didn't want a seating chart but had two entree options- so we tried to give everyone color-coordinating name plates, but it did not seem to workout too well. Everyone eventually got a meal, though. However, my husband and I wanted our dinners to be boxed up, since we were too anxious and excited to eat. We had told our coordinator this, and she said she would tell Jose to make sure it was done, but I guess the word never got back to him and the food was unfortunately thrown away. Similar situation happened with the cake, because we thought we were going to have the top tier saved for the 1 year anniversary tradition, but I think it was all served, which isn't really a big deal to us (I would rather my guests each have a slice of cake). When the wedding was ending after the grand exit, it got really hectic with packing and cleaning, because of the rain and everyone leaving at the same time, but Jose was really kind about us coming back the following day to pick up all the items that were left behind. Overall, the venue is beautiful and definitely worth it's value, all the staff are very friendly and exceptionally accommodating-I highly recommend it. We had a great time and everyone was happy, and I can't wait to go back to the venue for the complimentary, 1st anniversary bed and breakfast they offer!

We really struggled to find a venue in the Austin area that we liked. Venues tended to be ultra-rustic farmhouses, or ultra-contemporary spaces with no charm, neither of which are our vibe. Anything we did like was priced absurdly high and booked through 2025. Then we found The Carrington and are SO happy we did. We were looking for a place that could provide a cozy-yet-elevated, intimate dinner party atmosphere for our wedding, and The Carrington was exactly that. It had so much charm and character, and the 3 distinct spaces (indoor, ceremony side yard, and backyard) were perfect for creating a natural flow from cocktail hour, to ceremony, to dinner, to dancing. The convenience of the bridal suite upstairs and the guest house next door were a massive plus, too. Our guests gave rave reviews of the venue. We had a really positive experience working with the staff-- particularly with Emily, who was so helpful, kind, and easy-going. The laid-back and flexible attitude of The Carrington team helped make wedding planning so much less stressful. A lot of venues we toured had rigid rules and functioned like wedding factories, not leaving much space for the unique touches we wanted. The Carrington staff were totally open to our ideas and requests, and we were able to handcraft our perfect event. Lastly, the price was unbeatable. I still can't believe how much bang for our buck we got at The Carrington. The wedding industry can feel extremely financially predatory, so I am so grateful to them for providing an affordable option that didn't sacrifice quality. The price of the venue was single-handedly what kept us from going over budget. I would 100% recommend The Carrington, but will note a few things to consider: - We had a spring wedding so the grass and landscaping were fully green and in bloom. During summer and winter you may need more florals/decor to liven up the outdoor space. - There is a train right by the venue with an unpredictable schedule, so there's a chance it will go by during your ceremony. We lucked out and didn't have that happen, but it was on our minds!

Your Something Old & New! Olde Dobbin Station will provide a unique experience for its clients through the use of old structures built in the early 1900’s, restored to their original look and feel, while adding a vintage touch. The buildings were initially used by oil companies as a “pumping station” and later became a famous place of fellowship for those in the community due to its Artesian Water Well. It became the community “swimming hole” according to many of the locals and remains a historical marker for the community and its residents. Olde Dobbin has recently renovated its final structure and officially has made it into a chapel. The “chapel” was initially used in the late 1800’s as a pump house for the nearby trains' steam.

We love Olde Dobbin Station! It was a beautiful venue, staff was great, really had no issues aside from some miscommunication at the end of the reception regarding the bar tab. My MIL was covering the bar tab for us… she paid the set up with her CC and thought at the end of the night they would just run her CC again to cover the tab. She left the reception at 9. As we were about to leave we were told “your mother skipped the bar tab.” It wasn’t intentional on my MIL part. So we had to frantically try to get ahold of her to pay… she was sleeping so there was issues. It was all taken care of, but was a very stressful 30 min for the bride and groom when we are supposed to be enjoying ourselves and getting ready for our send off.

About wedding venues in Texas

Why Is Texas an Exceptional Wedding Destination?

Texas offers an incredible variety of wedding settings across its diverse landscapes. You'll find everything from romantic Hill Country vineyards to stunning Gulf Coast waterfronts that provide perfect backdrops for your special day. The state is home to countless venues that showcase authentic Texas character while still matching your personal style. Think rustic barns where longhorn cattle graze nearby or sophisticated urban venues with dramatic city skyline views that'll impress your guests. Many Texas venues incorporate unique regional touches you won't find elsewhere; live country music that gets everyone dancing, mouthwatering BBQ stations and custom boot favors that celebrate local heritage. Whether you're planning an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, you'll find Texas venues ready to accommodate your vision.

What's the Average Cost of Wedding Venues in Texas?

Wedding venues in Texas typically cost between $3,000 and $30,000+ depending on what you're looking for. The national average runs about $6,500-$12,000 which represents roughly 25% of your total wedding budget. Your overall wedding costs will depend largely on how many people you're inviting to share your special day:

Guest CountAverage Total Wedding Budget
50 guests$19,410
100 guests$32,365
150 guests$44,545
200 guests$55,433
250 guests$66,322
300 guests$77,211
In Texas specifically, venues typically account for about 16% of your total wedding budget with couples spending an average of $6,932. This gives you plenty of room in your budget to customize other elements of your celebration that matter most to you and your partner.

Which Wedding Venue Types Are Most Popular in Texas?

Texas venues offer distinctly regional experiences that capture the state's diverse character. Hill Country locations around Fredericksburg give you gorgeous vineyard settings with beautiful limestone architecture and sunset views that will take your breath away. If you're considering Houston, you'll find venues that thoughtfully incorporate bayou landscapes alongside sophisticated cosmopolitan amenities. Dallas spaces tend to showcase luxury urban environments with elegant design elements that create a refined atmosphere. Fort Worth venues perfectly blend Western heritage with modern conveniences for a uniquely Texan experience. November emerges as the most popular month for venue inquiries across the state, so you might want to plan accordingly if you're interested in this popular time frame.

How Far in Advance Should You Book Your Texas Venue?

Texas couples typically book their wedding venues about 16 months (or 457 days) before their wedding date. November stands out as the most popular month for venue inquiries so planning early is essential if you're considering this timeframe. This advanced booking timeline helps you secure your preferred date since popular venues often fill their calendars far in advance especially for prime weekend dates. Booking early also allows you to lock in current pricing before annual increases that many venues implement. Plus you'll have more time to work with venue coordinators to customize floor plans and discuss details that will make your celebration uniquely yours.

Where Can You Find Accessible Wedding Venues in Texas?

Madera Estates in Conroe stands out for its commitment to accessibility with fully paved event spaces that accommodate wheelchair navigation throughout the property. You can host up to 330 guests here and the venue is frequently praised for physically walking through accessibility needs during the planning process. You'll also find excellent accessible options at Jennings Trace near Houston which offers single-level celebration spaces. Hummingbird Hill Weddings in Chappell Hill prioritizes inclusive design throughout their venue and The Preserve at Canyon Lake features wheelchair-friendly pathways connecting all major celebration areas. These venues ensure all your guests can fully participate in your special day regardless of mobility considerations.

Which Texas Wedding Venues Offer Outstanding Culinary Experiences?

The Bell Tower on 34th in Houston delivers exceptional dining experiences under Executive Chef Sergio Arellano. His international culinary team creates gourmet meals on-site that will impress even your most food-savvy guests. Food-focused couples should also consider Steiner Ranch Steakhouse in Austin where you'll enjoy spectacular views alongside premium cuts of Texas beef. Cisco's Salsa Company near Tomball has built a reputation for their award-winning Mexican cuisine that adds authentic flavors to your celebration. Avenida Brazil Churrascaria Steakhouse in the Houston area offers a unique Brazilian steakhouse experience with tableside carving and a festival atmosphere your guests will remember long after the wedding day.

How Can Texas Venues Support Remote Wedding Participation?

For couples wanting to include loved ones who can't attend in person, several Texas venues now offer more than just basic streaming services. Venues like Agave Estates Mara Villa and The Middleton Venue in Katy specialize in creating interactive remote experiences that make distant guests feel truly present. You can work with these venues to design custom interactive elements that go beyond passive viewing. Think virtual guest books where remote attendees can leave video messages remote toasts synchronized with in-person celebrations and even coordinated dance moments. These thoughtful touches ensure everyone feels included in your celebration regardless of where they're located.

What Wedding Expenses Should You Budget for in Texas?

Beyond your venue there are several other key expenses to consider when planning a Texas wedding. For a typical 150-guest celebration your budget will likely break down this way: - Florists: $6,755 (15%) - Venue: $6,932 (16%) - Catering: $5,546 (12%) - Bar services: $4,437 (10%) - Photographers: $3,966 (9%) - Videographers: $3,555 (8%) - Planners: $3,768 (8%) - Bands & DJs: $1,299 (3%) - Cakes & desserts: $853 (2%) - Hair & makeup: $495 (1%)
