About this venue
Your Something Olde, Your Something New! Olde Dobbin Station provides a unique experience for couples with restored early-1900s structures that blend an authentic historic feel with a vintage touch. Originally, oil companies used the buildings as a pumping station. Later, the property became a famous place of fellowship for the community due to its artesian water well. It even served as the local swimming hole for residents and remains an important historical marker today. Olde Dobbin also features a beautifully renovated chapel.

Steeped in history, the chapel was formerly an oil pumping station in the late 1800s and early 1900s. The original structure of the building, concrete walls, and roof give it a historical backdrop unlike any other. Please note that this specific building is reserved for ceremonies only and is not available for cocktail hours or additional reception space.

At approximately 400 square feet, this space is dedicated primarily as a private changing room for the couple, family, and wedding party. Rich in history, the structure originally served as the pump station control room in the 1900s.

From our first conversation with the Olde Dobbin Station team, we knew we had found the right venue. Their responses were swift and their professionalism put us at ease throughout the entire planning process. On our wedding day, they made us feel like they were celebrating with a dear friend rather than just hosting an event. The venue itself is stunning with its timeless charm and whimsical character that made everything feel special and unique to us. Every detail was handled with care, and we felt genuinely taken care of from start to finish. We can't recommend Olde Dobbin Station enough to couples looking for a venue that combines beautiful space with genuine hospitality.

Beautiful venue!
We love Olde Dobbin Station! It was a beautiful venue, staff was great, really had no issues aside from some miscommunication at the end of the reception regarding the bar tab. My MIL was covering the bar tab for us… she paid the set up with her CC and thought at the end of the night they would just run her CC again to cover the tab. She left the reception at 9. As we were about to leave we were told “your mother skipped the bar tab.” It wasn’t intentional on my MIL part. So we had to frantically try to get ahold of her to pay… she was sleeping so there was issues. It was all taken care of, but was a very stressful 30 min for the bride and groom when we are supposed to be enjoying ourselves and getting ready for our send off.

Rustic, Cozy, Gorgeous
I'm a wedding photographer who has shot at just about every venue in and around Houston. Olde Dobbin Station easily sits in my top 3 wedding venues. The inside and outside are so naturally stunning that little decor is needed. The layout, amazing natural light, and incredibly friendly and caring staff keeps ODS at the top of my list. I can't recommend this gem enough!
