About this venue
Monroe Pearson is an industrial wedding venue just off the square in Downtown Denton, Texas, set inside a reimagined 1800s grocery warehouse full of historic character. Exposed brick walls, rich wood floors, and custom Edison bulb lighting create a warm, speakeasy-style glow throughout the highly customizable ceremony space, before guests gather in the grand ballroom beneath a center staircase and mezzanine. A double-sided speakeasy bar and sliding barn doors round out the industrial-modern atmosphere, ideal for couples who want a downtown setting with genuine history. Accommodating up to 350 guests, Monroe Pearson pairs its historic industrial architecture with fully customizable, all-inclusive packages and legendary in-house catering. Surrounded by Denton's boutique shops, lively bars, and popular restaurants, Monroe Pearson offers couples a downtown wedding experience unlike any other in North Texas.

Best Wedding Planning Experience, Also Love Mariah

I am a wedding consultant and am no stranger to venues and their lack of service. I was overwhelmed by the amount of support we received. Mariah was there to walk us through the planning process; as well as, present for the event. She advocated for the needs and desires of our specific event. She helped decorate, serve meals, and answer any questions we had the night of the event. I would recommend and use them again.

Beautiful Nigerian wedding
We had a traditional Nigerian ceremony and our vow exchange on the same day…essentially 2 ceremonies which involved many moving parts and a busy day of schedule. It was absolutely the best day, the entire staff was very helpful and tended to every single detail. The meetings leading up to the wedding were very thorough which made it very easy to enjoy our wedding without any hassle. The wedding package made planning so easy, the venue was beautiful, and most importantly we had the most amazing time! Thank you so much Melissa for pulling everything together and Mariah for handling all the day off matters!
