Wedding at Chapel at Palacios
I am in the middle of wedding planning with the CAP and I will say that Payton, our wedding planner has been absolutely wonderful in answering all of my questions and concerns! The process has been smooth so far and we are excited to see our wedding day come to life in January! The venue itself is absolute gorgeous and is so close to town and within the DFW area instead of being so far out like other venues! It gives off the European/Spanish vibe without having to travel so far which we loved! The ability to utilize their vendors and the packages that they offer were also super helpful for us and made planning less stressful which was something we were looking for! Overall, we are excited and happy with our choice in holding our wedding here and working with the Walter’s Wedding Estates team.

We couldn’t be happier with the Chapel at Palacios! We had already looked at several venues before we discovered this one. Upon arrival, we met Audra. She was absolutely wonderful with the touring and booking process. She worked with us and kept us within our budget. She made us feel like we were her only clients. She alleviated all of our concerns and fears with planning our wedding. Once we booked our date we were paired with the amazing Payton who is our venue coordinator. She made everything so easy, from planning seating charts to meals and everything in between. She is calm and laid back making everything such a breeze. We are absolutely in love with this venue. The Chapel at Palacios is like a little Italian destination wedding in Texas. The pictures are going to be a dream, who would think our wedding is taking place in Texas and not somewhere in Europe!
Dream venue!
This venue has everything I was dreaming of for my wedding. The chapel and reception spaces are so beautiful and well maintained, plus the bridal suite is huge! My fiancé and I recently attended one of the showcases and got to try free food/drink samples and speak with their partner vendors in person, which was helpful and reassuring considering we didn’t live in the state throughout most of our planning time period- we will be using their partners for DJ, catering, and stationary.
Melanie, Brenda and Jared- DREAM TEAM
From touring Chapel at Palacios over a year and a half ago all the way to our wedding night send off, we have been thrilled with the quality, professionalism, communication and, mostly importantly, the staff. Melanie Anderson was with us from the beginning, and we were blessed to have Brenda Wilson join Melanie on the planning team. From the start, and throughout the entire planning process, up to the day of and post-wedding clean up, they were so attentive and their attention to detail was unmatched. By the time the wedding week came along, Brenda and Melanie were considered family, and we were so glad they were able to share this most special day with us. We'd be remiss if we didn't mention Jared Contreras, who was not only the DJ of the event, but was a fantastic co-host! His energy was absolutely contagious and he went above and beyond his duties- we'd highly recommend requesting Jared. Lastly, all the support staff and especially the bartenders (wish we had their names) were super attentive and friendly while keeping the drinks flowing. Thank you, Melanie, Brenda, Jared, and all of Walters for making our wedding the most special and happy day of our lives. It truly was perfect!
