Magnificent Great Western barn set into a fairytale pastoral setting built to celebrate life and the ones who make it worth living.

The King Barn is 4.000 sq. ft. of insulated and usable space that includes men's and women's ADA restrooms, catering area, rustic chandeliers, A/C and heat, large wrap around open-air cocktail area bordering on a lovely fishing pond with dock on one side and sweeping wildflower-filled horse pastures with friendly farm animals on the other.

River Terrace

The beguiling beauty of the black rocky riverbanks of the Pedernales reflecting sparkling Hill Country sunsets is an unparalleled backdrop for I do's

The spectacular River Terrace is approx. 2,400 sq. ft. and sits serenely on the banks of our beloved river. The riverside hosts a carpet of bluebonnets in early March, then transforms to a rainbow of wildflowers of every color and hue until June. The entire terrace is built from Texas limestone and features enormous art and decor walls, as well as an oversized staircase for a grand entrance.

River Cottage

Straight out of Hill Country Dream Homes, you and your guests will feel right at home in the River Cottage/Lodge 39.

A luxuriant home fully equipped to host up to 18 guests that can be used as one large home or easily split into two self-contained spaces for both parties on wedding day: The River Cottage is comprised of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, full kitchen, living room, large screened-in porch with seating and dining. Lodge 39 features one bedroom, one bathroom, a dressing loft, wet bar, fireplace, private balcony. Centrally located within a minute's stroll to all event areas, the river and pastures.

    Wow, I am not even sure where to start with our review of King River Ranch! Absolutely everything was incredible! My Husband and I fell in love with the look and feel of the venue from the first moment we stepped on the ranch and met the owner David. He made us feel right at home and the venue was the exact place we had been looking for to get married! King River Ranch staff will even help you with floral design, vendor referrals, rentals, wedding decorations and make sure it is perfect for the best day of your life. They are experts in floral design and can help you make your wedding dreams turn into reality. The view from the ceremony site right on the Pedernales river was breathtaking. The whole place just has a magical feeling to it, The Barn, the ceremony site, the lawn areas….and all the beautiful animals that live on the property including the ranch horse King! The honeymoon suite is just beautiful, such a lovely place for the bride to get ready with her bridesmaids and for the couple to stay the night of their wedding. I could not have asked for a better venue to get ready with my best friends and it is a day I will remember forever. The groom and groomsmen have their own room to get ready with a TV to watch all their sporting events and can walk down to the Pedernales river to hang out with their buddies. My husband loved being able to use this ranch during the day! We also took our engagement pictures at the ranch which was so much fun, and I could not have asked for a prettier background for our save the dates. It was amazing to be able to meet our photographer before the day of our wedding and he also became familiar with our wedding site! People often ask us what the best part about our wedding day was and for both of us the best part about the day was dancing the night away under the beautiful hill country stars. We had several people come up to us saying it was the best wedding they had ever been to and everything was so perfect. We highly recommend King River Ranch, David, and all his staff. They go above and beyond to make everything perfect for your dream wedding. We keep in touch with everyone we met during our wedding journey and so lucky that we stumbled upon this magical venue.
