Lost Horizon Cider Mill in Dale, TX, is a magnificent wedding venue where couples can escape from the noise of it all. This hidden treasure is designed for those looking to savor life's sweetest moments. The conservatory is an open-air greenhouse moved from Hyde Park to host life's most extraordinary and sacred moments. The lounge has a cozy atmosphere with vintage craftsmanship and attention to detail. A stargazing deck above the lounge offers another private space to gather. Patio spaces throughout the grove offer plenty of seating at Biergarten-style tables and picnic tables. There's a stage outside for live music or DJs to set up. Seasonal accommodations include sun sails, fans, and misters for balmy summer nights, with a firepit and chimeneas for the cooler months. Wedding packages include fun add-ons like custom cocktails, bespoke bottled beverages, floral arrangements, and a live cover band with versed in everything from modern indie to 80s new wave and classic R&B faves.

The conservatory is an open-air greenhouse moved from Hyde Park to host life's most extraordinary and sacred moments. This space can feel both intimate and inviting. Inside the greenhouse, benches offer close-up seating for your inner circle and there's plenty of space on the lawn for guests to gather. During the warmer months, we keep the greenhouse stocked with plants, so it's pretty special on its own.

A swanky escape from the noise of it all, this hidden treasure is designed for those looking to savor life's sweetest moments.
Inside the lounge, there’s a cozy atmosphere with vintage craftsmanship and attention to detail. Enjoy elevated takes on classic cocktails and savor the ciders made on site. Patio spaces offer plenty of seating at Biergarten style tables and picnic tables throughout the grove. Seasonal accommodations include sun sails, fans, and misters for balmy summer nights, with a firepit and chimeneas ready for gathering around during cooler months.

The Meadow is perfect for your garden party, dreamy forest themed ceremony! Fireflies are included, free of charge!
Have you been dreaming of getting married in the middle of a forest, beneath twinkling string lights? We can make that happen! Perfect for spring or fall weddings, the Meadow stands directly in the middle of Lost Horizon, surrounded by one hundred year old Elm and Mesquite trees. 12' pine benches and custom wedding altars make this a versatile space for larger ceremonies.

The Timber & Sky Pavilion (Fall 2026)
Light above. Life below. Open to the world. Protected from the weather.
Modeled after our MCM greenhouse, the Timber & Sky Pavilion pairs the warmth of heavy wooden beams with the openness of a fully transparent roof — creating 1000 square feet of all-season living. Whether it's a summer celebration or a rainy afternoon retreat, this pavilion holds the outside close while keeping you comfortable. Built for nature lovers who refuse to let the forecast decide their plans. (Currently under construction, and debuting Fall 2026!)

Dreamy venue for vintage-lovers
Lost Horizon Cider Mill has the romantic, intimate vibe that comes with a backyard wedding but the elevated touches you'd look for in a winery. The venue itself is swanky yet quirky, with an art-deco-y, design-forward style. I love how each space created a special atmosphere—from the greenhouse to the star-gazing deck. We were able to truly customize it to reflect US. The custom labels created for our non-alcoholic drinks are just one example of the thoughtful, high-quality work they did to make our special day truly memorable. We couldn't have asked for a better place to host our wedding, and we highly recommend Lost Horizon Cider Mill to any couple looking for a unique and unforgettable venue.

A touch of whimsy and magic!
This is a super cool spot run by very dear people! It feels very down-to-earth, yet beautifully curated with a touch of whimsy and magic. And I love that they serve beverages crafted on-site - from the cider, to house-made non-alcoholic rum and seltzer. Highly recommend!

Magical
My son was recently married at Lost Horizon. I never write reviews (as I'm sure many father of the grooms don't) but this place felt so special, I want to tell the world! From the moment I watched the beautiful couple cross the bridge, the night was magical. There was music, dancing, food, drinks, and love—under the stars and surrounded by nature. My two favorite features were the Lost and Found tap room, a hand-crafted, art-deco style bar and the deck above the tap room. The tap room was great for small cozy groups and the beverages were delicious. The deck felt like you were stepping out into the stars. If you love nature's innate beauty and appreciate high-class design, I highly recommend Lost Horizon.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience for our wedding day. From start to finish the coordinators, Shawn and Caroline, were absolutely incredible. They were patient, thorough, and always respectful, making sure we felt comfortable and supported every step of the way. No detail went overlooked, and they truly went above and beyond to ensure everything reflected what we wanted. The venue itself is charming and picturesque. The greenhouse chapel created such a beautiful and unique setting for our ceremony, with all the natural light and lush greenery providing the perfect backdrop. We did run into some inclement weather during the reception, but the team handled it seamlessly. Their contingency plan was well thought out and executed, so it never felt stressful or disruptive. Overall, we're so grateful to Shawn, Caroline, and the entire team for making our wedding day feel effortless and truly special. We would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful, cozy space paired with a dedicated and caring staff.

Lost Horizon Cider Mill is a hidden gem located just outside of Lockhart, Texas. We attended a wedding there and were enchanted. The ceremony took place in a beautiful greenhouse which provided the perfect backdrop. We enjoyed cocktails and bites in the nearby Courtyard and Taproom. The Signature Cocktail was delicious! We had so much fun dancing under the stars. The Stargazing Deck was a great spot to catch our breath. This is special venue and it will be the perfect spot for your wedding or special event.
