About this venue

Canyonwood Ridge is a Hill Country Wedding and Events venue in the Austin area, located approximately 20 minutes from downtown Austin in the "Wedding Capital of Texas" of Dripping Springs. The 12,000 square foot venue sits on a ridge top wrapped in oak trees with scenic hill country views and was designed specifically for weddings. The outdoor ceremony site, as well as the indoor Chapel, offer planning flexibility and picturesque backdrops for a wedding of up to 300. The Chapel enables an indoor ceremony to protect against the unpredictable weather in central Texas, and is adjacent to our large Reception Hall, in order to provide a seamless transition from ceremony to reception. Canyonwood Ridge is unique and romantic with its dramatic views and Hill Country elegance, but maintains a balance of simplicity and flexibility for couples to plan their perfect day.

An unbeatable Plan B, Plan A, or cocktail hour space!

Our Chapel enables a picturesque indoor ceremony site protected against the weather by "bringing the outside in" through large windows and lots of natural light, but also allows multi-use of that space when the ceremony is outdoors. The Chapel in essence provides an "insurance policy against the weather" by taking out the stress of what your ceremony will look like if the weather doesn't cooperate for an outdoor wedding!

Amazing venue! Amazing coordinators (THANK YOU Alexa Cole)! Amazing group of vendors Caynonwood works with (THANK YOU Alred's Catering and The Flower Girl)! Overall, we had such a positive experience. Everything worked seeamlessly thoughout the day, and we rec'd so many compliments about every aspect of the wedding.

Canyonwood Ridge has it all! A gorgeous hill country setting, a beautiful, light-filled chapel and a spacious and dramatic reception hall with windows looking out over the hilltop, all in one building! At this all-in-one venue, weather is not an issue! Add to that an amazing coordination team and there's no reason to host your wedding anywhere else. Whether you’ve had your wedding planned since you were little, or if you are starting from square one, you’ll be in very good hands at Canyonwood Ridge and with Amanda (@Amanda_Hepner) and Amanda Blue Events (ABE) as your wedding coordinator. We are still coming off our ‘post-wedding’ high and continue to receive compliments from our guests who said it was the most beautiful wedding they've ever been to. And we were fortunate to work with Amanda Hepner at Amanda Blue Events who works with Canyonwood Ridge and is a Wedding Coordinator Extraordinaire! Amanda was our advisor, ‘architect’, anchor, advocate, and ally during our whole wedding process. She played a key role in making our wedding a memorable event; and what a wedding it was! From the overall ‘big picture’ down to the minute details needed for a successful event, Canyonwood Ridge, Amanda and her team worked together to make the event spectacular. We got married here in March 2022 and selecting this venue was one of our best wedding decisions. One of the biggest perks of the venue is there are indoor and outdoor ceremony options, so you have a built-in rain plan. This worked out wonderfully for us as our original plan was to get married outside with the gorgeous hill country views in the background. While it was unfortunate that we had to make the call to move it inside, we did not lose anything in terms of beauty and natural light! The chapel area was absolutely stunning and we actually think it worked out better. All of the vendors were accommodating with the change and our event planner who works for Canyonwood Ridge was excellent. The whole experience was enjoyable and stress-free. Staff provides excellent customer service and did everything possible to ensure our special day was a success.

Canyonwood Ridge has it all! It is a beautiful new venue with an outdoor ceremony space that has a view of the Texas Hill Country. It also has an amazing indoor chapel which many couples love as their first option for their ceremony. What sets Canyonwood Ridge apart, is the quality of their service. They go above and beyond to make sure every couple has the very best wedding. They are professional, timely with communication, and have a genuine passion for wanting to help. Their entire staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I could not recommend Canyonwood Ridge and their staff more!

You will have full use of the facility for 15 hours on the day of your event (from 9 a.m. to 12 a.m.) All guests must be off the premises by 12 a.m., therefore the bar will close no later than 11 p.m. and the bride and groom exit must be no later than 11:30 p.m.

Canyonwood Ridge was designed for 300 guests maximum. Our Reception Hall can comfortably seat 300 guests with space for a band, dance floor, buffet, and cake table. This also allows the Chapel to be a "Plan B" for up to 300 capacity. We can hold weddings for over 300 by using the Chapel as a seating area for the reception. If you have an invite list over 350, we can advise you of options.

Canyonwood Ridge allows clients to provide their own hard alcohol; however, we do require that all alcohol is served by a TABC-certified bartender from the venue's preferred third-party bartending company. Canyonwood Ridge provides Beer, Wine, and Champagne as part of your Bar Package along with several other items that you will need for the bar.

Canyonwood Ridge has over 80 designated paved parking spaces, and plenty of room for overflow parking for larger events.
