About this venue
The French Romanesque style Chateau Bellevue dates all the way back to the year 1874 when Harvey and Catherine North built the estate, which was subsequently acquired by different individuals until it finally became the charming historic wedding venue that it is today. On your wedding day you will feel as if you and your guests have been whisked away to an elegant French estate. This venue features gorgeous arches and hand-carved woodwork that add special touches to any style or sized wedding ceremony. You have access to spaces such as the Chateau Ballroom and the Evans Dining Room. In addition to these indoor spaces, you can also use the porches and courtyard found outdoors. Regardless of which space you choose, you will be able to revel in the old world charm while still being able to enjoy a chic style and the comforts of modern conveniences. In addition to ceremonies and receptions, these sites are also perfect for hosting wedding showers, engagement parties, and rehearsal dinners.

Awesome Historic Venue
Chateau Bellevue was the perfect venue for our wedding! From the moment we first contacted them, the staff was incredibly quick to respond and personable in their communication. We knew right away that they would be a great fit. On the day of the wedding, they exceeded our expectations - the venue looked stunning with the table and chair setup they provided, and having their two huge parking lots in downtown Austin was an absolute lifesaver. Our wedding party was even able to park overnight and walk to the nearby bar district after the reception. This hidden gem of a venue is not only historic and charming, but also an incredible value. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our special day. I would highly recommend Chateau Bellevue to any couple looking for a beautiful, stress-free wedding experience.

Chateau Bellevue is without question one of the most stunning and memorable event venues in all of Austin. The historic building is breathtaking both inside and out and provides an incredibly elegant backdrop for any special occasion. Every detail of the venue has been thoughtfully maintained and the combination of classic architecture and modern amenities creates a truly unique atmosphere that leaves guests in awe. The event coordination team is absolutely superb and guided us through every step of the planning process with warmth professionalism and genuine enthusiasm. Nothing felt too much to ask and they went above and beyond to make sure our event was perfect in every way. The catering was exceptional and every dish was beautifully presented and delicious. Our guests are still talking about what an incredible evening it was and so much of that comes down to the magic of Chateau Bellevue. If you are looking for a venue that combines history elegance and world class service this is simply the finest choice in Austin.
