“We took on a lot of planning ourselves, and hired Rina to be our day of coordinator--or really month of coordinator--and out of all of our planning decisions, hiring Rina was one of the best decisions we made. Ahead of our first call, we sent a long document outlining the ideas we had--which she looked through and gave us useful feedback on as we considered what support we needed most. We had some unique ideas for how to do things our own way--and it was also clear from our conversation, that while Rina knows how to do a "textbook" wedding--she also knows how to listen to clients to help them make their unique vision a reality, even if that requires some creative thinking, crafting, or problem solving. When we did our venue walkthrough a month before the event, we sent Rina another long document, floorplan, and schedule the day before--and she once again arrived familiar with all of it. She had crucial suggestions, important questions we hadn't thought of, and proved again she was the right person to help us get prepared for the big day. That pattern repeated once more at rehearsal which was very efficient! The day of our wedding, Rina was punctual, professional, and in expert control running the show we had put together. She had already connected with all of our vendors, reviewed all the decorations we designed and how they set up, and was fully familiar with the timeline. When the inevitable surprises popped up, she was quick to roll with the punches--in a way that kept our plans on track! The entire event was not just beautiful, unique, and exactly the vibe we had envisioned--but it was also EXACTLY ON SCHEDULE, from set up to the paper lantern send off at the end! We are thoroughly impressed, and can't recommend Rina highly enough! She was our not so secret weapon. Let her be yours too! And make no mistake, while we had Rina as our month-of-coordinator--we would have absolutely hired Rina to take on the entire thing if we hadn't enjoyed planning so much (and even then, we couldn't have finished the plans without her input!). I will also say, having planned so much ourselves, it really made it very personal to us that the schedule we made, the decorations we crafted, and the timeline we envisioned were faithfully executed. It was so personal, that I thought it would be hard to hand off our cherished plan to someone else. Who could know it as well as us or care as much? But every conversation with Rina made letting go easy, because it was so clear she was listening to us, and understanding us. There is no one else we would've trusted with our plan except Rina.”

“If you’re debating whether to hire Coven Events, do it. They were hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the very beginning, having a team of three coordinators made such a huge difference, especially since we had a Catholic church ceremony with a gap before the reception. They attended our rehearsal, were incredibly organized, and were genuinely some of the sweetest people to work with. My entire family loved them. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, they completely took the stress off my shoulders. They took over communication with all of our vendors, finalized the timeline, and even handled all of the final vendor payments on the wedding day so I didn’t have to think about a single thing. They truly went above and beyond. They picked up my two dogs from our apartment, brought them to the church for photos, and then safely brought them back home afterward. They made sure every single DIY detail I had spent months putting together was perfectly set up at the reception. We spent the last year booking all of all vendors and working on all the fine details of decor, music, and signage etc. We started working with Days and Eves to help close all of the open gaps and work on the day of timeline. We thought we had all questions answered but we certainly did not! It was so helpful to have the team provide us with all of the schedules and guides to ensure that the day ran smoothly, for which it did! Katie came highly recommended, and after just one phone call, I knew I needed her by my side. Her decade-plus of experience was immediately obvious - she knows exactly what to do, when to do it, what options to consider, what could go wrong, and how to handle everything seamlessly. After booking her, she recommended all of my remaining vendors (florist, cake, DJ, transportation, etc.), and every single one told me the same thing: “You’re in great hands with Katie. We’re not worried, she’ll tell us what to do and when.” Once I shared my vision with each vendor, I truly didn’t have to lift another finger. Katie handled all the technicalities and logistics directly with the vendors. She also completely alleviated my biggest concern, the new venue, through her excellent communication, organization, and confidence. We met monthly to touch base on what I had been working on and what I needed to work on next to stay on track, and I was never overwhelmed because she broke everything down in manageable parts and was always reachable with questions. On the wedding day, her team managed the timeline, directed people, coordinated vendor deliveries and setup, and even handled breakdown at the end of the night. When we realized we had forgotten some decorations at home, one of her team members literally went to our house to get them... that level of care is unmatched. My favorite part of my wedding day was being fully present and truly enjoying every moment without a single worry. It was a beautiful whirlwind, and because of Katie and her team, I was able to soak it all in. When people ask me if anything went wrong on my wedding day, they expect a story, but honestly, nothing did. “Delia nails it every single time. I have worked dozens and dozens of weddings with her since we first crossed paths 10 years ago. Ceremonies start precisely on-time, the timeline is expertly crafted and executed flawlessly, the logistics run smoothly, all the vendors have the info they need, details aren't missed, and the couple is able to enjoy their day without worry. Having someone like her on the vendor team makes my job wayyyy easier. She is organized, detail-oriented, responsive, easy to work with, and will stop at nothing to make your wedding day a success. She is sharp, decisive, quick on her feet, and will selflessly throw herself at any problem that crops up like a tenacious mother goose zealously defending her eggs from a hungry fox. In one particular instance, the catering company chosen by the client majorly dropped the ball on staffing and some critical items and it nearly trashed the entire wedding day. While any other coordinator would be sobbing in the corner as everything fell apart, Delia was undeterred and unfazed. She took over for the flailing banquet manager, corrected all the table settings and the layout, moved chairs, whipped the kitchen into shape, solved problems, directed the utterly clueless staff, served guests, poured wine at tables, tended bar, brought the couple a drink, bussed tables, restocked supplies, washed dishes, fed the vendors, and even took away the cell phone from a lazy high-schooler on the catering staff and threatened to call his mother to take him home if he didn't get back to work and do his job! While all this was going on, she was also keeping the rest of the wedding running with shockingly little delay to the schedule. She single-handedly saved the day. The clients and the wedding guests had no idea that anything was so terribly amiss behind the scenes thanks entirely to her herculean efforts. It was nothing short of legendary. This is just one example out of countless others that truly exemplifies how hard she works for each wedding.
