Set on Grelen Nursery's 1000-acre tree nursery, The Market at Grelen is a magical wedding venue boasting rural simplicity at it’s most luxurious! It has gorgeous 360-degree views and was lovingly designed to emphasize the surrounding natural beauty. Perfect for the creative party planner, The Market at Grelen has a variety of event spaces: a greenhouse, a shade garden & berry field, a large bluestone terrace, a 4500 sq. ft. clear stargazing tent and a groomed pasture at the highest point of the nursery. ​Located in Central Virginia (only 35 minutes north of Charlottesville, one hour west of Richmond and two hours south of DC), it is PERFECT VENUE for a variety of celebrations. As a full-service venue, we offer in-house catering, rentals, and several unique locations for your big day! Our beautifully renovated Ballroom was designed with you in mind—it provides a blank canvas to transform into whatever vision you love (and has beautiful local reclaimed wooden floors)! For outdoor ceremony, we have two beautiful options. The first is on the 10th tee. This location overlooks the golf course and the Blue Ridge Mountains. The other outdoor option is the Glenmore Pavilion. Designed by the team behind Pippin Hill, this beautiful, new open-air pavilion overlooks the golf course and the Blue Ridge Mountains, and it is covered so you would not need to worry about renting a tent for your outdoor space. This location is perfect for both ceremony and reception.

Greenock Manor is a 150 year old Farmhouse with towering giant trees. The Manor is a beautiful restored traditional American Victorian style farmhouse with a delightful wrap around balcony. We aim at a homely feel for our bridal families to reduce stress. We include a ton of props - so please visit us - we look so forward to meeting you. We set up the ceremony chairs for our couples as well as the tables and chairs for the reception area before you arrive for your wedding day to reduce stress. Any decor items you need are set up by us such as shepherd hooks, easels, signs and much more. We also include lawn games and we have a firepit for use to add extra ambience. Best part we are across the road from the nearest hotel so guests can walk to our venue AND up to 18 guests can sleep over at Greenock for the whole weekend - so many more happy memories. We can include a planner to manage your wedding on your wedding day too!

I never thought I would be a wedding photographer. I started my professional career in Boulder, Colorado, riding on the backs of motorcycles, chasing professional cyclists through winding roads and epic climbs. I never thought I would find another career as exhilarating and rewarding but I was wrong. I photographed weddings in Colorado, but it wasn’t until moving East, to Charlottesville, Virginia, that I fell in love with them. I love all of the beauty of the flowers and the pretty clothing, but what I love most is documenting the love between the two of you, and the complete joy of your best day ever. Lovingston Winery is a weekend wedding venue that prioritizes slowing down and enjoying time with those that you love. With all of our packages we include 2 nights at our historic 1906 farmhouse and charming log cabin. These spaces allow for up to 16 guests to stay on property with you throughout the weekend. In addition, there are sweeping views of mountains, vineyards, pastures, and pond that can be viewed from our ceremony sites. When it's time for dinner, you can take a beautiful stroll to our newly constructed Tupelo House. This reception space allows for you to take in the setting sun while enjoying the high end touches like chandeliers, open frame timber, and a massive 8' wide fireplace. Camp Holiday Trails is a beautiful 70+ acre nonprofit camp located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Open year-round, we engage children and teens with medical needs. Many joyful, loving, fun and playful weddings have taken place with us and the wedding weekend with lodging is a favorite "wedding destination" package of choice.

Our waterfront reception space offers a picturesque setting for events, featuring a covered raised slate and brick terrace as an elegant outdoor ballroom. The space is equipped with chandeliers, ambient lighting, and heated/air-conditioned indoor dining area with fireplace. Tiffin Farm is a small, regenerative farm in Free Union, Virginia. Originally built in the late 1970s, the newly renovated barn is a grand and inviting location for wedding ceremonies and receptions. Today, Tiffin Farm continues to be a working farm as we raise a herd of Red Devon cattle and steward the land. With abundant natural lighting, the barn is immersed in the center of the farm with views to the Blue Ridge mountains, our pond, and surrounding pasture. Guests are able to watch the sunset over the Blue Ridge while seated during the reception. Just steps from the barn, the Ceremony Lawn is framed by quintessential Virginia views and is equipped with power outlets for a hassle-free ceremony. The Market at Grelen is thrilled to announce the opening of its newest venture, The Grelen Depot. With historic preservation, art and beauty in mind, this versatile property was thoughtfully renovated and designed by Grelen Co-Owner, Leslie Gregg. Her objective was to enhance the charm and character of the lovely Main Street by creatively restoring this classic old-world structure situated in the historic town of Orange, Virginia. The Grelen Depot boasts high ceilings, ample natural light, an art gallery, bar and lounge areas as well as a loft space with a range of seating options. Each space has its own distinct personality and all can be used for a variety of events including weddings, rehearsal dinners, holiday parties, workshops, corporate retreats, and more. The Depot also features a luxury suite, called The 118. This space has a living room, bedroom and glamorous full bath.
