I had the pleasure of working with Mindy for my wedding in September and I couldn't have been happier with my choice! I had 9 people total getting styled and she managed to get everyone done in plenty of time and the whole group looked great. She is responsive, kind and talented. She was even understanding and flexible when I needed to change the date of my trial last minute. She will make sure to take the time to make your hairstyle exactly what you want for your special day. She was able to make everyone feel beautiful and work with many different hair types. I would recommend her services to anyone looking for a wedding hairstylist in the area. Thanks Mindy!

Wonderful Experience

I booked Mindy for hair for my wedding without a trial due to distance but I had a feeling that I could trust her based on previous work posted to her social media. She travelled the furthest out of all my vendors and arrived on site earlier than expected. As a bride, this relieves a lot of stress, especially because we had an early wedding! Mindy absolutely slayed my hair which was extremely intricate and included a VERY large cultural head piece. She is extremely talented and really understood what I wanted without very much direction. She checked in on me throughout the process and really went above her responsibilities as a hair stylist. She even provided an unplanned service for a wedding guest who I did not originally book hair for without hindering our timeline. The hair style lasted with no sign of falling out throughout the ceremony and then she changed my hair style during part of cocktail hour flawlessly and efficiently so I could make my grand entrance. My fiancé (now husband) LOVED my hair and even complimented how kind Mindy was during the short interactions they had throughout the morning. Mindy is not only an exceptionally talented hair stylist, but also a wonderful person. I felt like Mindy was a great pillar of support for me on this integral day of my life. I am long overdue in writing this review - life got busy after our wedding and then we welcomed a baby shortly afterward, and I realized I never left the review I promised myself I'd write - but I couldn't go any longer without sharing how amazing my experience was with Mindy and her team for my wedding hair and makeup. From the very beginning, Mindy was so easy to communicate with, which made a huge difference while I was planning a wedding long-distance. She always responded quickly to my texts and was incredibly kind and accommodating - especially when I had a bridesmaid have to drop out just a few weeks before the wedding. She handled everything with such ease and reassurance. She was also so flexible in squeezing in a last-minute hair and makeup trial when I was only in town two days before the wedding, which was appreciated more than I can say. At the trial, she really took my inspiration photos into account and was very open to feedback, even though I honestly loved how everything looked right away. On the wedding day itself, she texted me when she arrived at the venue, and then worked directly with my wedding planner so I didn't have to worry about a single thing. It made the whole morning feel calm, relaxed, and truly enjoyable. She and her team arrived promptly and got everybody ready on schedule without making things feel rushed. Mindy and Hannah, her makeup artist, made all of my bridesmaids and my mother-in-law look absolutely beautiful. They did such a wonderful job enhancing each of their natural features while still keeping everyone looking cohesive and polished. As for me, I have genuinely never felt more beautiful in my life. My hair and makeup were everything I had dreamed of as a bride. I don't know what magical products Hannah used, but I was crying happy tears all day, dancing all night, and even fell asleep in my makeup - and it somehow still looked almost perfect the next morning. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Mindy and her entire team are not only incredibly talented, but also so sweet and calming to be around. I would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone looking for wedding hair and makeup in the Charlottesville area.

From the timely response to my initial inquiry, to answering all of my questions leading up to my trial, all the way to the big day making sure my girls and I felt our best- Mindy and Hannah conquered it all! While wedding hair and makeup can be daunting to some, I felt so incredibly comfortable and beautiful on my wedding day. They listened to each of us that morning, our likes and dislikes and made the entire process feel so special. The compliments throughout the evening were endless and I couldn’t be happier!
