Thanks for taking the time to check out our work! We are Tilden and Annie, a boyfriend-girlfriend team passionate about creating wedding films that actually tell a story and reflect the people/personalities involved. We emphasize value at every turn, always delivering the absolute best product that we can while starting at a lower-than-average rate of $2495. Wedding videography is a unique blend of creativity, improvisation, and storytelling that cannot be found anywhere else, and we are incredibly thankful that we get to tell the stories of some of the happiest days of people's lives đź’•

We aim to differentiate ourselves by delivering the highest quality possible without obscene prices. Some wedding videographers crank out films quickly in a cookie-cutter fashion, without much personal touch to each, and we strive to do the complete opposite. We have pre-wedding meetings to discuss creative vision, music, and overall feel for the film(s), customized to their preferences. We also include 3 hours of revision work in most packages, something that is very rare among our peers! Whether you are looking for classic, cinematic films or modern, social media friendly content, we will do everything we can to exceed your expectations!

    Wedding videography like you've never seen it!

    Working with Tilden at Lexa Visuals for our wedding videography was one of the best decisions we made! All of our married friends recommended we get videography of our special day and we are SO glad that we hired Tilden for this important job. From the very first meeting, it was clear that Tilden was organized, professional, and dedicated to capturing our wedding vision. I loved that he offers flexible wedding packages, which are also so reasonably priced. On the wedding day, Tilden blended into the background and worked seamlessly with our wedding photographer. They were truly a dream team, working together to capture the day in film and photos. Tilden got some drone shots at a few points of the wedding - they were completely unnoticeable in the moment but made for amazing video! When we saw our teaser video, we were blown away by how perfectly Tilden captured the emotion and beauty of our wedding. Even the shots were perfectly timed with the song timing. We couldn't wait for the longer highlights video, which was perfection!! It captured the key moments of our wedding including parts of our vows and speeches by our loved ones. I had no idea wedding videos could be this good! I highly, highly recommend hiring Lexa Visuals for your wedding videography!

    Tilden was so great to work with! He offers a variety of packages that are reasonably priced, and his portfolio is so impressive. He made us feel very comfortable on our wedding day and truly captured the emotion! He created a keepsake for us that we will treasure forever!!

    Look no further, you've found the videographer

    I always say that I had the DREAM team for my wedding, and there truly is not a single thing I would change about our day. A huge part of that is because of the incredible vendors we chose, and Lexa Visuals/Tilden was no exception. From the very beginning, he was responsive, professional, and so easy to work with. On our wedding day, he captured everything so beautifully—the love, the energy, the emotions, and the pure joy we felt throughout the day. Watching our teaser and highlight film brought us right back to those moments. My husband and I both had tears in our eyes and chills the entire time. It felt like reliving the best day of our lives all over again. One of the best decisions we made was investing in videography. There is something so special about seeing your wedding day in motion, hearing the voices, watching the reactions, and experiencing all of those little moments you may have missed in real time. If you're on the fence about hiring a videographer, don't skip it—you only get one wedding day, and having those memories preserved this way is truly priceless.     Tilden is a gem

    Tilden is incredibly responsive and easy to work with. His pricing was more than reasonable and he was willing to create a custom package for us based on what was most important to us within our budget. He was flexible during the wedding day and showed up early with a calm and easy demeanor. He was unobtrusive and professional during our big moments. Extremely professional and friendly, even our guests commented that he was fantastic. He also delivered products ahead of schedule. Included in our package, he provided a short 6 minute video clip of big moments for us and it was so well done that my family shed happy tears all over again and it was like we were back in the best day ever. Thank you Tilden, you’ve captured something for us that we’ll never ever want to forget. If there’s one thing to splurge on, it’s being able to relive your beautiful wedding day with all your favorite people.

Yes! We’re happy to send a copy of our certificate of liability insurance to your venue or any other vendors upon request.
Definitely! While we’re based in Charlottesville, Virginia, we’re available for destination weddings worldwide. If your wedding is outside of Virginia, we’re happy to come to your city for an additional fee to cover the cost of travel and reasonable accommodations.
It is almost always possible to film a wedding with just one videographer, but there will obviously be less footage to work with and deliver to you than if there were two. Having a second videographer is highly encouraged if you and your fiancé are getting ready at separate locations, if your wedding is larger with 150+ guests, or if you want to make sure that the groom reaction shot during the ceremony is actively manned in case people move unexpectedly.
Absolutely. Reach out anytime to ask about our special pricing for elopements! Please note your elopement must have fewer than 10 total guests.
Once you know your wedding date, we recommend reaching out as soon as possible about our availability. However, we do pride ourselves on being flexible and we do take the occasional last-minute booking, provided that the full balance is paid upon booking if it is less than 30 days until the wedding.
Yes! We do own rain covers for our equipment, though we will not be able to use as many angles as usual, and we won’t be able to fly the drone. Unlike some videographers, we are willing to get soaked in order to get the shot, and we take pride in adapting when the situation changes.
Yes! We have been Part 107 licensed for over 5 years and recently renewed our certification for another 2 years. We fly 2 different drones, a traditional DJI Mavic 2 Pro and an FPV drone, the DJI Avata 2. Both of our drones are registered with the FAA and are labeled with their registration numbers as required by law. Some videographers fly their drones illegally - That is not the case with us!
For highlight films and full-length films, we pay to legally license music from Audiio.com, and we encourage our couples to choose music that fits their taste! We have created playlists for slower songs for the first half of films and faster songs for the second half of films, to serve as a starting point in your search. We are also happy to choose music ourselves if you'd prefer!
Yes, but only beyond 50 miles from Charlottesville, and it is more modest than many others out there. After the 50-mile mark, we charge the IRS reimbursement rate of $0.67/mile. In example: If your wedding is 100 miles from Charlottesville and we travel 200 miles round trip, we would charge 150 x $0.67, $100.50 total.
Revision policy - Every package except for the lowest one includes 3 hours of revision work for no extra charge. Some videographers do not allow revisions at all, and some start charging for revisions immediately. Raw footage storage - At 400-600GB per wedding this is expensive, but we store all raw footage indefinitely. You can always purchase raw footage or commission additional edits at any point in the future. Documentary edits - You can choose to include non-traditional parts of your day in a documentary edit for no additional cost! In the past, we have included musical performances, dance numbers, Ethiopian ceremonies, and much more.
