ABOUT US | Haley signed up for a college documentary class thinking it'd be an easy A. She met Kevin, fell for filmmaking and then for him, and the easy A never really panned out. Twenty-two years and 250+ weddings later, we still film every single one together. On your wedding day Kevin's the quiet one; he won't bark directions or make it feel like a set. Haley's the one who'll introduce us, keep your timeline honest, and make sure your rings get back where they belong after detail shots. We're a married couple who films married couples. We still cry at the end of every one.

HOW WE'RE DIFFERENT | You'll spend a year planning this, and then it moves faster than you can believe. One minute you're zipping up the dress, the next the DJ is playing the last song. We give the day back to you. On The Feature and The Director's Cut there's no clock on us; we're there from getting ready through the exit. We also shoot real Super 8mm, actual Kodak film that goes off to a lab and comes back weeks later with grain and light leaks in it. Then we keep editing until you tell us it's right, because it's your film and not ours.

Description

Six hours, one of us behind the camera, and a 3-4 minute film when it's done. You choose where the six hours land, and before the day we walk your timeline with you so they cover the parts you actually care about. Your vows and ceremony audio get recorded either way. This is the one for couples who want a film and didn't think they could swing it.

Description

We show up while you're getting ready and we're still there for the exit, no hourly rates whatsoever. You get a 5-8 minute highlight film plus your entire ceremony as its own video. One filmmaker, 4K, multiple audio sources, and revisions until it feels like yours.

The Director's Cut

Description

Two filmmakers, full-day coverage, drone footage, and a 5-8 minute highlight film, full ceremony video, and full speeches video. This is also where real Super 8mm film comes in, because shooting film takes a second pair of hands; one of us runs the film camera while the other stays on digital. 2 rolls of Kodak come standard, developed and scanned at a lab. If you want more of the day on film, we can load 6 rolls or go all the way to 10.

    Absolutely amazing!

    From the moment we booked Heartline Films, their communication was quick, thorough, and excited. The videography team was incredibly talented, making us feel comfortable throughout the day. They had a knack for capturing special moments and making us stop to truly take in the magic of our wedding. The final video was everything we had hoped for and more - a perfect memento of our special day.     Hire them now!!

    When looking for wedding videographers, we had difficulty finding someone with the style we liked at a price we could afford. I can absolutely say that we didn’t sacrifice on price or quality when we picked Kevin and Haley! We booked them just in time before their dates were all filled, and we can see why they’re in such high demand! Their videos are wonderfully shot and edited, and we are so grateful to have video of our favorite people (and dog!) on our special day! Kevin and Haley are so kind and friendly, and were such easy vendors to work with. They’re extremely responsive and I would recommend them to anyone looking to capture a memory via video!

    AMAZING

    Kevin & Haley are absolutely amazing! i cannot recommend them enough. They truly blew all of our expectations out of the water. They both go above and beyond for their clients and will do anything to get the perfect shot. they absolutely brought our vision to life in ways i can’t even begin to describe or imagine. Kevin and Haley made us feel so comfortable and were amazing at reading our facial expressions and offered for us to take five minutes by ourselves after our wedding before we started back up. My husband and i didn’t even realize that’s what we needed until they offered it to us. they are so personable beyond belief. after the whole day we felt like we had known them for years. i cannot recommend them enough to capture your special moments. a lot of people stress about video and my husband and i were totally stress free because of Kevin and Haley. we saw a couple seconds of raw footage on the camera and we were BLOWN away just off of that. -The Carricos

Not on The Feature or The Director's Cut. We arrive when you need us and stay through the reception, and there's no overtime line waiting for you. The Short is a set six hours you place wherever you want them; extra hours run $400 each and get arranged while you're planning.
Yes, and most couples do. A 30% retainer holds your date, then the balance splits into equal monthly payments; the first lands a month after the retainer and the last one about a month before the wedding. Pay in full and we take 5% off.
We're based in Wilmington and Winston-Salem, so travel's included across most of North Carolina: Raleigh, Durham, Charlotte, the Triad, the Crystal Coast. Asheville and the Outer Banks are far enough out that we quote travel per wedding, and you'll see that number before you book. We film destination weddings too.
Real Kodak film in a vintage camera. The cartridges ship to a specialty lab, get developed and scanned, and come back with grain and light leaks no filter reproduces. It's the same format your family's old home movies were shot on, which is most of why it hits the way it does.
