Cancelled Last Minute

While I realize things happen out of people’s control, I was notified by the owner at 12:30 on my wedding day she wasn’t coming and she was supposed to be there at 1:30. She told me she would immediately send a refund and she tried finding a replacement to no avail and still we have not seen the refund. I have reached out to her a few times with no response and her number I had from our initial consult isn’t working. I know things happen - but now it’s just frustrating. Fortunately we found a videographer and they got there quickly and we are very thankful, but now we’re waiting on our money back from GrayFilmz and that doesn’t seem to be happening. Very sad as our initial phone consult was extremely thorough and great. I would also like to add that about a month From our wedding, I sent out emails or text to all of our vendors. All of our vendors except for GrayFilmz responded within a couple of hours and after a couple of days, I kept reaching out to our videographer through social media, email, our portal, and the phone number she gave which doesn’t work and heard nothing from her until I got a random email about three or four days later with a survey to fill out about our wedding; no message from her, no email from her, just the survey, and as an anxious bride that made me worried. A combination of her not responding throughout the planning process, her cancelling last minute, and yet to issue a refund after her cancellation 4 days out with no response still shows lack of communication.
