“We knew Cover Story was the perfect choice for our wedding from our very first call with Chris. Chris and Elena made the entire planning process clear and easy from start to finish. They brought their expertise and guidance exactly when we needed it, while still giving us plenty of room for creative input. The whole collaboration felt natural and seamless. They made us feel totally safe asking all of our questions and took care of everything, working with our venue effortlessly. The performers on the day were phenomenal, and our guests are still talking about it! Their talent was incredible, and they were kind, fun, and professional to work with. Our ceremony guitarist learned our entrance songs and performed them beautifully. Our special dances were played from mp3 and were timed perfectly. Even though we honestly didn't give them much direction for timing, they just nailed it! And then the party! Our family and friends love to dance, and the band kept the energy high all night long. They even learned a couple of extra songs for us that sounded amazing. Their talent is honestly unreal. They definitely were supposed to take more breaks than they did, but they just kept playing, and even gave us an encore. After the wedding, we got to chat with some of the band members, and they were all so kind and genuinely cool people. The entertainment really shapes the overall atmosphere of a wedding, and because of Cover Story, our wedding day was perfect. We'd recommend Cover Story for any event, hands down!”

“In today's world everything is extremely overpriced and service is terrible. My wedding was very stressful for me because of this. I did not have a DJ or a Photographer and honestly was considering just something small scale, until I talked to Ed from DJ Double E. I would give them 10 stars out 5. From the minute I talked to Ed it was a breath of fresh air from the million other outrageously priced DJ's. The price is unbeatable but that's not why I would recommend them. They are absolutely phenomenal and made my entire wedding. The music was perfect from ceremony to the last dance. They were so professional, so involved and so fun. We had a daytime (early) wedding. It is so challenging to get people up and have a good time at 12:30 in the afternoon, I was having meltdowns about it, they reassured me but had the entire place up and having fun. You didn't know if it was day or night. They helped us more than the attendants at the venue. Over 100 guests said how amazing they were. The pictures they took could not be any better. Any other DJ who had packages like this (photo booth etc...) were THOUSANDS, yes THOUSANDS, more!!! I really hate to admit but I'm not easily pleased however I would put my name on the line for DJ Double E after how they made my wedding. DJ Double E exceeded all my and my husband's expectations and -consider yourself lucky if you hire them for any event. I'll be calling them again!!!”

“Anthony was a pleasure to work with. We loved his easy going personality. My husband and I hit it off with him immediately. We loved how he let us customize our entire wedding playlist which was so impressive. His portal for uploading music was so easy to use. Anthony was very thorough leading up to the wedding. He was great at communicating. Anthony was able to make a lot of special requests like having my husband sing at the wedding. A few minor things happened at the wedding like the mic did not work, but Anthony was able to work through it. My venue also didn’t let him dim the lights down initially, but he eventually figured out a way to do it, so the dance floor can be lit. “We worked with Paul for our January wedding. Originally, I was going to just create a playlist (I was having little to no formalities) until I saw he commented on a Connecticut Bride Facebook Group. Figured a DJ will give me one less thing to worry about, so I inquired and he immediately responded, provided a quick quote, and we set up our first meeting. He just made everything so easy! We had two one-hour long meetings to clearly identify our vision. My father passed a few years ago and we did many things to honor him at the party- signature cocktail, my sister spoke about him in her speech, his two best friends gave a combined toast on his behalf, but what made me really feel my dad was celebrated and “there in spirit” was when Paul intentionally played my dad’s favorite song prior to the first speech. It almost felt like that was my dad’s speech/toast to us. Family and friends picked up on Paul’s placement of my dad’s favorite song and commented that they were moved by it too. It was the only point of the night I got emotional. Paul really cares about his work and the people he works with. I’ve been to a handful of weddings where DJs play the couple’s Do Not playlist and just treats every wedding the same. I seriously can’t recommend Paul more.”

“Apparently, my now-husband is extremely picky when it comes to string quartets. When looking for a string quartet for our wedding in June 2026, we listened to recordings from every available vendor in the Rockland County/Westchester area. Golden Scroll were not only the best sounding, but also were incredibly friendly, organized, and accommodating to our requests. Their song list is MASSIVE and yet they included learning two new songs at no extra charge to allow our playlist to be even more meaningful to us. Kevin was extremely responsive, and was less worried than we were about the 15% chance of rain on the day of the wedding. The performance itself was amazing and our guests raved about it all evening. “Emmet and Naomi were wonderful! They traveled to play at our wedding at Jeffers Hill Farm in Pike, NH in September 2025. They were wonderful to deal with from the initial inquiry to post wedding follow-up. They were very easy to communicate with initially and have a great repertoire of songs to choose from! They even learned some new songs that we requested for recessional/processional etc. They played a variety of beautiful songs during our ceremony and cocktail hour. They were extremely professional and wonderfully talented artists. All of our guests commented on how enjoyable they were to listen to while mingling during cocktail hour. “JRM the DJ is one of the main reasons our wedding was the unforgettable day that it was. From start to finish, Devon was so easy to work with. He answered every question we had in a respectful and timely manner and the planning and execution was seamless. We have been to a number of weddings where the microphone hasn’t worked, or the music didn’t transition well, and before booking with Devon, this was something I had learned to expect. I had even told our officiant to prepare for when (not if) the mic goes out. I am beyond relieved to report that every piece of equipment Devon brought worked perfectly and made the day 1000% better. On the dance floor, every song he played kept guests dancing all night long. Every time I tried to step out to chat with guests, I had to interrupt our conversation to say, “I’m so sorry but I NEED to dance to this song.” And the photo booth was a huge hit! I remember being really nervous about whether guests would want to use the photo booth or not. Now I can easily say the photos from the photo booth are some of my favorites from our wedding. Thank you for everything, Devon. You’ve got fans for life.”

“Absolute Entertainment made the music part of the day easy! He was very responsive and gave great input from his many years of experience. I made two requests that the bride and groom could only request songs mid-reception and we wanted everyone always on the dance floor: Greg delivered on our requests!
