Garrett & Tamara

Garrett & Tamara are a New York-based husband and wife music duo. The couple's journey began in 2015 after matching on the popular dating app, Tinder. The two quickly bonded over their shared love of music and began writing and performing together, often showcasing new material in Central Park where they performed regularly. Since meeting, Garrett & Tamara have performed across the country at some of the most iconic and prestigious venues including: Lincoln Center, The Perelman Performing Arts Center, The New York Botanical Garden, Cipriani, Mohonk Mountain House, The Parrish Art Museum, Winterthur, and Blue Hill at Stone Barns.

From Martha's Vineyard to Manhattan, we work with couples to help bring their vision to life with custom arranged music for ceremonies. We'll guide you every step of the way to ensure that each song truly represents you. Whether you're saying "I do" on a remote beach, celebrating your union in a historic castle or setting up an altar in your own backyard, we can help set the mood and make each moment unforgettable.

    Couldn't have been better

    They were PERFECT. We met over a couple of Zooms, shared our thoughts. They did the rest. Great presence, positive energy, fantastic chemistry, and exceedingly talented. They covered a song by request for our recessional and it was more beautiful than the original.

    Can’t Miss

    Garrett and Tamara were fantastic! They made our ceremony and cocktail hour feel so special and our guests were very impressed. We were able to choose a new song for them to perform for the ceremony but their repertoire was already stacked with romantic classics. In addition to being talented musicians, they are just nice people — very good wedding vibes!

    The best of the best!!

    I cannot recommend this duo enough!! Garrett and Tamara are some of the most beautiful souls I have met, they were the one of the highlights of our evening. They are incredibly talented and charismatic and were everything we were looking for for our wedding day. Our guests are still raving about them!     The Best!!!

    Garrett and Tamara were perfect in every way for our ceremony and cocktail hour. They are so incredibly talented and our guests kept raving to us about how amazing they were. My husband and I spent the majority of our cocktail hour standing right next to them because they were so good! Not to mention that they are both warm, funny, kind, and just complete joys to hang out with. The pre-wedding communication with them was easy and professional. I can’t recommend them enough! Worth every penny.

    An absolute must!!!

    Garrett and Tamara were beyond anything we could have hoped for. They were so easy to work with leading up to the wedding (even when we changed songs quite a few times). They played our ceremony and cocktail hour and made both feel so special. They are not only insanely talented but just the nicest people as well. Highly highly recommend Garrett and Tamara for your wedding!!

Clients who book us for ceremonies are allowed one custom song request in addition to any song selections from our repertoire. We can also learn more custom song requests for an additional fee of $250/song.

We typical arrive 2 hours before the scheduled ceremony start time to get setup.
All weddings and events within 75 miles of our home base (zip code 11205) include travel at no additional cost. For locations beyond 75 miles, travel costs begin at $500.
We perform a variety of r&b/soul/singer-songwriter. Clients who book with us can expect to hear music by artists like: Etta James, Ray LaMontagne, Leon Bridges, Alicia Keys, Marvin Gaye, Amy Winehouse, Stevie Wonder and Fleetwood Mac.
