We worked with Paul for our January wedding. Originally, I was going to just create a playlist (I was having little to no formalities) until I saw he commented on a Connecticut Bride Facebook Group. Figured a DJ will give me one less thing to worry about, so I inquired and he immediately responded, provided a quick quote, and we set up our first meeting. He just made everything so easy! We had two one-hour long meetings to clearly identify our vision. My father passed a few years ago and we did many things to honor him at the party- signature cocktail, my sister spoke about him in her speech, his two best friends gave a combined toast on his behalf, but what made me really feel my dad was celebrated and “there in spirit” was when Paul intentionally played my dad’s favorite song prior to the first speech. It almost felt like that was my dad’s speech/toast to us. Family and friends picked up on Paul’s placement of my dad’s favorite song and commented that they were moved by it too. It was the only point of the night I got emotional. Paul really cares about his work and the people he works with. I’ve been to a handful of weddings where DJs play the couple’s Do Not playlist and just treats every wedding the same. I seriously can’t recommend Paul more.

My daughter and her husband hired Taylor Events to deejay their wedding celebration. They had a clear vision in mind that didn't include a first dance, a father/daughter dance (my husband died several years ago), or a mother/son dance. They wanted to keep the vibe elegant, lively, and joyful. Paul listened, understood, and brought their vision to life. Two weeks later, guests are still telling us how much they enjoyed the music and the tone Paul set (some people couldn't stop dancing). My daughter has been in numerous wedding parties, and one thing she noticed is that some vendors can be difficult and unresponsive. Others treat couples like a number. Not Paul! He makes everything fun, easy, and personal. We would work with him again in a second.

We truly could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. Paul was absolutely excellent from start to finish and made sure everything ran smoothly. The dance floor was packed all night long, and our guests are still talking about how much fun they had. He played a huge role in making our wedding day perfect!

DJ Paul Taylor was the absolute best DJ for the job of doing our wedding music. He made the special moments feel more beautiful and the party moments feel like a movie. He was easy to work with and so so so affordable! The most efficient and effective DJ I’ve ever run across. You are doing yourself a disservice by not booking him for your next event!

For venues located beyond that distance, a reasonable travel fee may apply based on mileage. For extended travel requiring significant drive time, overnight accommodations may be required to ensure safe and professional performance.

Yes. Taylor Events maintains $1,000,000 in general liability insurance and is fully insured for wedding and event production. We are happy to provide a certificate of insurance to your venue as needed.

We typically arrive 2 to 2.5 hours prior to your start time, depending on the scope of production. This allows ample time for setup, sound check, and final adjustments so everything is fully prepared before guests arrive.

Yes. Guest requests are welcome and can be discussed during the planning process. Ultimately, all request policies are at the discretion of the couple and outlined in your planning forms. We’re happy to take appropriate requests while ensuring they align with your vision and keep the energy on the dance floor strong.
