Beware! Venue not ready for dates booked

Be careful, this place is not even open yet. They will book your date, but then tell you it's not going to be ready. The kicker is, they will not refund your money, instead they will try to have you book a date that is in fall/winter. This is NOT how to run a legitimate business. Do better. Sadly they wouldn't let me give ZERO stars!

As a wedding cinematographer, I’m always looking for venues that provide a stunning, natural backdrop to tell a couple’s story, and The Riverbend is nothing short of breathtaking. According to the owner this place isn't open until 2025 so how could there possibly be reviews for it? I can see if they were talking about an upcoming venue but 1 review says hos party was great

Riverbend is like nothing else we've experienced - the stunning buildings, winding river and peaceful sun-dappled property is just amazing. But the venue's beauty is just the beginning! The planning team at Connecticut Wedding Group is professional magic, orchestrating every detail with laser focus and contagious enthusiasm - you can't help but smile when you're with any of them.
