Working with Jen for our October 2025 wedding was AMAZING!! From the moment we sent in an online inquiry, Jen was attentive, responsive, thoughtful, and incredibly detail oriented. She got us set up with a project planning doc immediately, and she was SO patient with us even when we were annoyingly indecisive about our vision lol. She met with us via Zoom to answer all of our questions when we were struggling to finish the document (and she is just as thorough and helpful via Zoom as she is via email). Once we placed our final order, Jen was communicative and thorough about the process of what happened next in terms of pickup, payment, etc. When we picked up our flowers, we were ASTOUNDED by how beautiful they were. I mean, we knew they would be beautiful, but truly, WOW. Aside from bouquets & boutonnieres, we also got garlands to use as centerpieces for our guests’ farmhouse tables, as well as small wooden circle magnets with a flower on top (we wood burned the j c into them ourselves) to use as favors. And they all looked incredible. An employee at our venue said that our decor was “the best she’s ever seen this place look,” and a large part of our decor was these flowers. I cannot recommend Jen and Wood and Word Blooms ENOUGH!!! PS bouquet photo is from today (1/5/26)!! The longevity is insane!

All of the florals were such high quality! Rebecca worked closely with us to bring our vision to life while staying within our budget. We loved how the bouquets & pocket squares came out. Maryann was incredible to work with. My husband and I put our wedding together in a month and Maryann could not have made the experience more stress free. I am a Capricorn, incredibly controlling when it comes to planning and Maryann made me so comfortable I told her to take the reins. I gave her my vision and it was as though she crawled into my head and executed everything perfectly. Our beach ceremony was followed by our reception at Ocean House where bud vases of her wildflowers danced beautifully down the center of the table with votives and wild greenery. My wildflower, beach wedding would not have been what it was without her. I recommend Maryann for any event. Her positivity radiates through her skill and she adds color to any event!

I'm a floral designer taking a kind—not just nice—New England approach: seasonally driven, thoughtful, and attuned to the moment. We embrace trends when they feel right but prioritize timeless designs you’ll love for years. We thrive with clients who value trust and collaboration—together, we bring your vision to life with care and creativity. I’m honest and thoughtful about guiding you to make the most of your flower budget—always with clarity and intention.

Awarded Best of Zola
The absolute best decision I made during wedding planning was hiring Jakkelyn- and us brides know there's no less than 1,000 decisions we have to make! From day 1, she was so fun to work with. I had a pretty specific floral vision- with the monochrome bouquets for my bridesmaids and specific colors. She took my vision and made it everything I dreamed of except even more beautiful. I cried when I walked into my venue and saw her magic. Not only is she incredibly talented, she is so sweet. I am going to miss talking and planning with her. It's also worth a mention that I had to change my venue to a completely different state and she was more than happy to stick with me. I am beyond grateful! I am very picky and florals were a very important part of my day- trust Jakki and you'll be so happy!!

Welcome to Painted Gardens! Shannon, who is often hidden behind a big bouquet of flowers, is the owner and head designer of PG. Although her background is as a mixed media artist, She has always worked in horticulture and is proud to be a first generation farmer alongside her husband Justin. Painted Gardens would not be possible without her husband Justin's support and hard work taking care of our farm. Dream team since 2015!

Shannon is the very best! As a vendor and client I have seen both sides of her business and she is truly amazing at what she does! She did the florals for my sister’s wedding and nailed my sister’s vision to a T! She is also the most genuinely friendly person and so down to earth! Her team is amazing too! BLOOM. Creative Floral & Events

5.0

  • Starts at $5,000
  • Serves North Grosvenordale, CT

BLOOM. Creative Floral & Events is a boutique floral and event design studio located in Northeast, CT, serving counties in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We create seasonal, garden-inspired floral arrangements, using only the freshest flowers and unique blooms and ingredients responsibly sourced from local flower farmers and gardens from all over the world. Drawing inspiration from your ideas, your unique style, and the venue you have chosen, we work closely with you and the team of professionals you have hired to implement your special day to help you achieve, big and small, the wedding of your dreams.

Tammie made our wedding a dream. We love flowers and knew we wanted them to be a showstopper during our big day, and from our very first meeting we knew that Tammie would create organic coastal garden magic for us. After describing our likes and dislikes and reviewing a moodboard with Tammie, she came back with a visual proposal that completely understood the vision we had, and the actual execution was even better than we could have expected. From my beautiful bouquet, to the ceremony arrangements, and the stunner of a floral chandelier, everything was absolutely perfect. However, nothing could really top the reception tables — it was like my Pinterest board come to life. The organic feeling growing arrangements, bud vases, ikebanas, and tapers that complimented our tablecloths were *chefs kiss*. I’m still not over everything! To top it all off, Tammie is so kind, warm, and lovely — she made dreaming up flowers one of the best and most enjoyable parts of this process. Thank you for everything, Tammie!

Farm Couture Flowers

5.0

  • Starts at $5,000
  • Serves North Grosvenordale, CT

Farm Couture Flowers is the design studio at Muddy Feet Flower Farm. I grow over 100 varieties of cut flowers from April through November and incorporate them into lush garden-style arrangements and bouquets.

Where to begin? Kristin is an artist. In the age of insane wedding Pinterest boards and over-planning every detail, we gladly handed the floral design and aesthetics over to Kristin. She uses her own flowers from her farm, so she's both local and sustainable, and if you're interested in supporting a small, woman-owned business, this is the way to go. We trusted her direction and expertise and it was the best decision we could have made. When we walked into our venue on the day-of, we were both floored. It was so much better than I could have even imagined; we received so many sincere compliments from guests. Our wedding photographer said he thought they were the best wedding flowers he'd seen. The floral design was original, organic, and creative, and the greenery was gorgeous. If you choose Kristin as your florist, trust her to lead the way. It'll be better than anything you could have imagined!

Yumiko at Hana Floral Design was one of the first vendors I really clicked with during my wedding planning experience, and the rest was history! I am so glad I found her early in the planning process. Her ability to understand and execute my tropical-inspired wedding vision gave me full confidence that my wedding would be success. Throughout the process, Yumiko easily adapted to new ideas, took feedback in stride, offered helpful (really helpful) ideas, and seamlessly communicated with my other vendors to turn my vision into a reality. She had awesome connections (helped to find my amazing photographer) and she went above and beyond to turn our blank canvas of a tent and transform it into a tropical, island chic space. I felt so incredibly lucky to work with her, and throughout called her the VIP of my wedding day. She is amazing, truly the best!!!!!

Mountain Laurel Floral Designs

5.0

  • Serves North Grosvenordale, CT

Pam and I are the heart behind our farmer-florist studio, and we’re so excited to share a little about who we are. I’ve owned and operated my own flower farm for the past four years, and I bring an additional four years of experience in both farming and floral design. Pam, my business partner, is a full-time marketing manager with a love for intentional connection—and she’s also a flower farmer herself, with three years of hands-on growing experience. We came together to combine our skills, passions, and creativity into a studio that celebrates sustainable growing and thoughtful floral design.

Working with Pam at Mountain Laurel Floral Designs was a dream. She is incredibly talented and her process is easy and collaborative. As an avid houseplant keeper, I had originally planned to make my own wedding floral decor, but realized quickly that I had massively underestimated the skill, expertise, time, and artistic talent that goes into wedding floral arrangements. Pam swooped in and literally saved the day! When I saw the final arrangements, I was completely blown away. The centerpiece flowers were absolutely stunning, the bouquets were perfect, and she even made boutonnieres and corsages for the grandparents. These flowers truly made the atmosphere of our wedding. I wish I had started with her from square one - it would have saved me mountains of stress and anxiety. Pam is a true professional who makes her clients feel completely at ease. She worked seamlessly with my day-of coordinator on the logistics and all communications were prompt, clear, and efficient. I was very impressed with how she took my minimal guidance (really just a pinterest board with a wide variety of flowers and our basic color scheme) and created a vibrant, cohesive, modern, and romantic look. If you want a florist who is a joy to work with and delivers breathtaking results, call Pam!

Something Borrowed Blooms

Something Borrowed Blooms is the premier rent-and-return floral and décor company in the U.S., offering beautifully curated premium silk floral collections. Couples who choose to rent typically save up to 70% compared to the cost of traditional fresh flowers. Our collections include everything you need for your wedding day, from bridal and bridesmaid bouquets to boutonnieres, garlands, centerpieces, aisle markers, cake flowers, swags, flower combs and crowns, wedding décor, and more. Each design is thoughtfully curated to create a cohesive, elevated look from ceremony to reception.

Awarded Best of Zola
Something Borrowed Blooms provided the florals for our wedding and their service was expert, clear, and concise, though lacked any personal touch. The quality of their work was great - the florals looked beautiful, especially from a distance, and they were competitively priced. However, their shipping turnaround time was awful, with the flowers due back just 2 days after the wedding. This is more of a business than a vendor, so don't expect a lot of personalized care. While I ordered more florals than I ended up needing, it was worth it to have the full, lush look I was going for on our special day.

We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Flower Moxie - Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers was an amazing vendor for our wedding. From start to finish, their communication was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. When I ordered my DIY flower kit from them, the quality of the blooms was luxurious, with high-end flowers like anemones, yet the overall cost was very budget-friendly. Their detailed tutorials and bouquet recipes made it easy for me and my bridesmaids to create the most gorgeous bouquets together. I'm so grateful to Flower Moxie for helping me achieve my dream wedding flowers on a reasonable budget.

The granddaughter of two gardeners, I have always felt a connection to the earth through the soil. When someone brings flowers into a room, something changes...an energy, an excitement! I love being able to bring that kind of beauty into peoples lives. I'm a small-town girl who enjoys anything that involves working with my hands from cooking to knitting. I'm a total animal lover (partial to dogs), a die-hard Grey's Anatomy fan, and I take my martinis extra dirty. When I'm not flowering in our studio in Milford, Connecticut, I'm mommin' to three amazing little boys (our dog Pippa and cat, Galaxy).

It was exactly what I was looking for. She also worked with our venue who was a little challenging to work with to make it all come to life! I cannot thank her and her team enough!!

Tracy is amazing!!! Our wedding flowers were absolutely stunning, and she made the whole process so easy and fun. She was incredibly attentive and detail-oriented, taking the time to really understand my vision, hopping on multiple calls, and even coming for a site visit. She brought my vision to life in a way that fit flawlessly with our overall design. What really stood out was how thoughtful she was about incorporating family heirlooms and relics, something that was a focal point in our wedding. She found the most beautiful ways to repurpose old vases, barrels, pots, and more into the arrangements, which made everything feel so personal and meaningful. Tracy was such a joy to work with. The flowers were gorgeous - our guests commented on them all night - and they lasted for over a week afterward, which made it even more special to keep enjoying them!
