Owner + Lead Designer

Our design studio is located on our farm in central Massachusetts. We are passionate about growing and designing with unique blooms and pour our hearts into all aspects of our process from sowing seeds into healthy soil, to harvesting and arranging. Our farm, gardens, and the wild landscape around us lends inspiration and drives our designs to be seasonally conscious, a bit wild, and uniquely curated for each celebration. We strive to employ sustainable practices from start to finish.

Our designs are for the nature-centric, the adventurous, and the curious. We'll pull inspiration from the seasonal landscape, the setting where your occasion will take place and your style preferences to create something that is uniquely yours. We want our flowers to enhance the setting and create a sense of place worth pausing in for a moment. After all, this is an occasion to be remembered forever.

    Stunning, colorful florals

    I had been dreaming of working with Emily Day long before I was even engaged and I am so thrilled that my experience with her was even better than I dreamed of. I think the photos speak for themselves for her artistry, but her collaboration and help leading up the the wedding was so, so appreciated, especially as last minute we were hit with an early Nor'easter, causing us to scramble and change up all our careful plans. Despite the dreary weather, her florals made the day so colorful and warm.

    Exceptional quality and incredible skills

    Emily and her team transformed our harsh, industrial wedding venue into the most romantic, dreamy space I've ever seen. She suspended fabric, built an incredible floral installation, hung vines, and created the most beautiful centerpieces, bud vases, and bouquets. Her eye for design and artistry is incredible, her flowers are stunning, her hardware is beautiful, and she is so kind, communicative, and easy to work with. I got a few other quotes before I went with Emily -- not only did her flowers end up looking far better than those vendors' flowers (based on pictures I'd seen), but her prices were better, too!

    A perfect choice

    Working with Emily at Bell Brook Farm & Floral Design Studio was a choice we are so happy we made for our wedding day! I (bride) had seen their work at someone else's (Fall) wedding a couple of years back and the arrangements stuck in mind ever since... So I called! In preparation for our special day, we had a call with them to go over our aesthetic ideas and needs. Not only did the call help provide them with our hopes for the day, but it also helped give us a lot of valuable advice and suggestions that we ended up going with. Emily was great in her response, ability to accommodate some last minute changes, and meet our budget. On the day of our wedding, the flowers and foliage EXCEEDED our expectations. The arrangements matched our color scheme perfectly and gave the rich, summer garden vibe I was hoping for... honestly better than I could've imagined. When it comes to the logistics, BBF&FDS were very clear and upfront about costs and order of steps/information needed. They made sure to do their research on the venue's procedures and setup/broke down as scheduled. I definitely suggest using BBF&FDS for your special events! They are so talented and can make a bold, yet delicate, statement with whatever your vision is.

Weddings come in all sizes. We love intimate events as much as large affairs and for this reason, we do not have a blanket minimum. Weddings sized 75-150 guests can expect to average 10-15K. Larger guest counts or extensive design and installation requests will be more, small events less. We will outline a minimum estimated spend based on your floral must-haves and guest count so you can confirm you're comfortable with the starting range before we have a formal consultation.
We offer delivery, setup, and breakdown services for events in and around New England. Delivery and setup fees are calculated based on distance, number of designers, and time allotted for setup and on-site floral installations and will be presented in the proposal.
Yes, we offer breakdown services along with delivery, set up, and flower transfer from the ceremony to the reception.
Initially, we will have a phone consultation (approx. 1 hr) which allows us to put together an itemized proposal and tally an estimated minimum spend before booking. We ask that you share a few inspiration photos or a Pinterest board to describe your style and share your budget range ahead of time. On-site consultations can be scheduled if necessary.
No. Because we are sourcing mostly local and seasonal product, ingredients sometimes change week to week. For this reason, we ask that our clients choose us because they are confident we will create arrangements truly unique to their event and trust that we will hit the target in terms of color palette, mood, and keep in-line with the descriptions outlined in the proposal.
During your consultation, we will go over all the gorgeous in-season floral offerings available for your wedding date. We love supporting local growers and regional flowers.
