My name's K8. I film weddings alongside my partner of 14 years, Jak. We offer a stylish blend of vintage and modern cinematography coupled with a thoughtful editing approach. We love bringing creative ideas to life. Equally important are all of the candid and real moments that makeup the texture of your day. At Appliqué we magnify and immortalize these memories as a gorgeous and profound keepsake.

As both the videographer and editor, I know how the day felt and understand the relationships better than a big company that sends a freelancer. We use a variety of cameras including a nostalgic camcorder and high-speed point and shoot for a unique look.

    We'll Treasure Our Wedding Film Forever!

    When we were planning our wedding, we knew we wanted our videographer to match the emotional authenticity and intentionality that we carried through out all aspects of our plan. Once we saw Kate's portfolio, we knew we were in the right place. Kate was a joy to work with and every video, from the social media teaser to the 5 minute to the full 2 hr film, brought us to tears of joy. She was able to capture the day in such a beautiful and authentic way. We would highly recommend going with two videographers, Jak was awesome as well and we were able to get a variety of bonus coverage of the ceremony, speeches and dancing! We met with many videography teams and none of them offered a full length film like Kate does. By being such an active part of the day, she's able to infuse the feelings of the day into her cinematography. We were in awe at how we felt like we were reliving the wedding day from start to finish. Thank you Kate and Jak for giving us such magical and incredible videos from our wedding, we will treasure them forever!!
