“Amber and Kristy did a great job on the makeup and hair for myself and my bridesmaids, and makeup for my mom. They were fun, friendly, and informative, and everyone looked beautiful. They listened to my feedback from my trial, and everything came out even better on the day. I felt so beautiful all day, and never worried once about my hair or makeup staying in place, even through SO many tears (even when the wind decided to take my veil, it popped easily back into place)! And everything was so comfortable for how durable it proved to be - no drying products or pulling on my hair. Amber and Kristy's work is a great value, and they fit right in with my bridal party, making the start to the day that much more fun. My only critique was the timeline - I was working without a coordinator, so I trusted the professionals to lay out a timeline that they were comfortable with. Ultimately it just wasn't enough time, and despite my mother-in-law dropping out of the lineup (for unrelated reasons), my makeup still finished late. I understand this stuff happens, but I felt like the only one concerned about continuing to fall behind, and we would have had no issue getting started earlier if asked. So I would recommend some buffer in your timeline, particularly if you are DIYing it, but they did a great job!”

“Meghan was an actual blessing on our wedding. We got married in Maine and I had previously found someone more local to do my hair. To say that initial test with the other person was disappointing would be a gross understatement. I have very thin hair and as such bought extensions. The other person said she couldn't use all of them, and the ones she did use pulled on my hair and scalp in such a painful way that I couldn't wear them for more than an hour or so and the style looked thin and fried. Enter Meghan. Given the exact same tools and accessories she worked actual magic. She gave me wedding hair better than I ever could've imagined or dreamed of. I asked for wild and witchy and romantic and she delivered tenfold. It was so comfortable and long-lasting and I got nothing but compliments on it and she did such a good job integrating the extensions that no one believed it wasn't my real hair. She made the morning of my wedding so fun, stress-free and set the tone for the day (in the best way possible). My entire wedding party had nothing but wonderful things to say about Sara and how they looked/felt after getting their makeup done. As a bride, Sara gave me the space to criticize what I liked, what I didn't like and/or what I wanted to emphasize more. I cried during our trial (tears of joy) and cried the day of my wedding (I'm a soft ball). The day of my wedding, I told Sara what details I wanted to change and she was SO supportive of my decision(s) - which is a big deal because everyone wants to give their thoughts/opinions and Sara only cared about what *I* wanted. Lastly, I cried on/off during my wedding day (so many happy tears), it rained/sprinkled during our first look photos and the rest of the night, I sweated on the dance floor and my make up looked FLAWLESS throughout the entire night. Sara gave me a little kit for touch ups as needed (after the ceremony) and I didn't even need it (except the lips which I did eventually reapply).”
